Press Conference

As night descended on Jing City, it was lively as ever. As neon lights flashed and beer flowed, cars going out and about.1

"Boss, Xue Yuming got buried today!"

Tai An stood under the glassed light, looking at the wine glass afar and sitting face him back against the wall was Xiang Jinxi.

"You don't have to tell me about a small matter like this."

"Huo Zhenning too had appeared, and he's now at Shengtian Hotel. Boss, should we...." Tai An looked up and have him a look.

"Heh, he still have some conscience for other woman."

But none for his own mother.

Xiang Jinxi put down his wine glass and walked out of the place.

On the way back, he sat at the back of his car with his eyes closed, trying to catch some rest.

Suddenly Tai An accelerated, "Boss, there's someone tailing us."

"It's not the first time. What are you so nervous for?" He did not even bat an eyelid.

Most of the time they had only tailed him quietly for a moment before disappearing but this time around the length was much longer.

Xiang Jinxi calmly took out his phone and made a phone call. When the opposite side picked up, he spoke right away. "Commander Yang, the person you're looking for is in Jing City."

This Lu Bai, did he thought his plan was foolproof?

He saw him wandering around not too far from him but yet did not pull the trigger. Now he would face the consequences of pissing him off.

"Lets drink another day."

As he finished, he kept his phone, looking faintly at the car behind him that turned away.

The next day, Thunderbolt held a press conference and the reporters from all the major press where already waiting since morning.

The rumor about Huo Yunting forcing the suicide of his mother-in-law had been circulating for a few days now and yet there was no official response. Plus news had it that Xue Yuming had already been buried yesterday and they finally held a press conference!

If they did not clear the air, Thunderbolt's reputation will permanently ruined!

Inside the CEO's office, Huo Yunting looked at the two piece of paper and frowned hard.

"Your press release, is just too official."

"This is the standard response, and you just follow what I write, or else...' She threateningly squinted. "You shall spend the night in the study tonight!"

"Bro Ting! It's time!" Huo Li's voice suddenly rang out.

Huo Yunting held onto her slender fingers, smiling. "You're getting bolder and bolder now. You actually dared to threaten me. Lets go."

The two stepped out together and the hall where the press conference was set up had already filled with the press.

"Everything side, Mr Huo sure is handsome!"

"Yeah, this sort of fake-sibling love, just thinking of it makes me excited!"

"Oh please, we are here for the mother-in-law's death, what the hell are you two on?"

"Oh right right. Work work!"

As the reporters were discussing among themselves, Lu Zhaoyang held his arm and had made her way to the seat.

She was not wearing the formal black-white uniform, rather she wore a white chiffon dress with a light blue jean jacket, looking simple yet elegant.

Beside her was Huo Yunting, sitting lazily as his cold eyes stared at her. He indicated that she could start with a blink.

Lu Zhaoyang nodded slightly in acknowledgment and turned to faced the microphone with a smile. "First, I have to thank all of you for your concern about our family. There's too many rumors nowadays, and some where untrue, so we need to clear things up today."

"Can we know, if the photograph on the news are real? Did your mother actually committed suicide before your mansion?" The reporters in the front row then started their torrent of question.
