Huo Chen gave a look at Wen He before nodding at Zhaoyang. 

Wen He returned a look that demanded time alone before storming up the stairs. Huo Chen wanted to follow her but Zhaoyang's look stopped him. 

She followed Wen He upstairs and barged into Wen He's room through the ajar door without even knocking.

"Wen He, it's been a while. Can't I even have a few minutes to reunite with my friend, alone?" 

"..." Wen He did not speak. 

Lu Zhaoyang smiled gleefully and picked a random chair nearby to sit on while Wen He was zoning out on the sofa next to the window. Between the dancing curtains, she looked soulless like a puppet.

"Wen He." 

"Anything?" 

Geez, what's with Lu Zhaoyang lately? Has the motherhood gotten into her? Ever since she got pregnant, she became Lady Melodramatic and got 'worried' over everything. The country, the company, her husband, her ex, even her ex's wife now, apparently.
