The rustling sound of the trees and the white noises coming from the air conditioner filled her mind for one moment. One moment which felt like a decade in ambience. She thought about everything as her fingers rubbed the fabric of her shirt while looking at Huo Chen anticipating her reply.2

"Hah!" She chuckled, "What will you do if I refuse to trust you and went against you?"

Huo Chen's brows furrowed as he could not interpret her tone when asking it. 

"We are meeting the press tomorrow, right?" 

"Yes." 

"Why else do you think I rushed here for in the first place?" Huo Chen snorted as he smiled, "First is to get rid of your misunderstanding. Second is to prevent you from attending the conference tomorrow. You aren't going anywhere. You aren't going to be taken away from me." 

"..." Wen He was confused. 

"Well, I believe that since I don't think I can beat you." 

"Obviously…" He smiled, "But you can try." His face was ever-charming as its beauty was further enhanced under the dreamy moon. He had such quiet eyes, like two pools of ice, as she fell into the depth of his sight.

As she was marveling at his eyes, she grasped upon his neck and pulled him towards her. They smooched, "The moon is sure beautiful tonight. Why don't we have some fun?" 

"..." Huo Chen whimpered as he watched Wen He fiddling with his abs. 

Huo Chen quickly lifted her like his princess and tossed her onto the bed while the princess hauled him onto the bed right after by grabbing his collar. They could no longer restrain their feelings as they started kissing again. Wen He reached out proactively to her man while her man returned her an even more passionate kiss.

"Wen He…" Huo Chen muttered, "I love you." 

"I love you too, Huo Chen" It was like a moth to the flame, destructive yet mesmerizing. Wen He forgot about morality. Huo Chen forgot about his duty. The course continued till the very late night when Wen He embraced the frigidity of the room as the breeze cloaked upon her tender body. She stood up bare-footed onto the carpet as the man got up from his bed and asked, "What are you doing?" 

"Just getting myself a glass of water," towards the slow words her man uttered, she replied, "I'll be back." 

"Okay."

A quick walk to the kitchen for water. She then gave him a glass of water. 

She cleared her throat, "I think I shouted too hard just now. You too, aren't you? Having a dry throat after panting so much? Have some water." 

"..." Huo Chen gave her a look before gargling the entire glass and started seizing her again, pressing her onto the bed, "Okay, I had my water. What's next? Round 2?"

"Let's do this." 

Huo Chen smiled naughtily as they continued kissing. 

As it ended, he pinched his brows as he glanced upon the woman soundly asleep next to him. He quickly fell asleep with the remaining heat ignited in his body. As he started breathing deep, Wen He opened her eyes, "Huo Chen…" 

She slid off the bed and gave him a kiss, "Good night…" 

She switched off the lights and fell asleep with bitterness still on her face.
