Looking on at their chatter, Mo Ning's expression gave away the understanding that she did not understand what was going on.1

Before she could even say anything, that gaggle of students showed both sympathy and astonishment at the same time.

"As expected of our goddess, we mere mortals are beyond you. The fact that you don't know about Mr Yan makes me wonder if this was the first day you're here in Y Country."

Was he that famous?

Seeing her confused look, someone quickly filled her in on Mr Yan's background.

"Have you heard from Organization 'L'? That underground organization that reigns supreme over Eastern Europe? Their head honcho is Mr Yan—Yan Sinian. He's of mixed parentage, with Z Country blood in him. But he was born in Germany, and followed his family to Y Country, and built up Organization L by himself. Not only that, he had grew it to its position today, and everyone in Y Country falls him the Godfather."

"And his Organization L is being called the Dark Empire!"

"Also, he is being known as the Caeser of the Underrealm!"

"You don't know how brutal he is, two years ago, a small country sent its army to wipe out one of his base, and in his rage, he activated every resources the organization has, and almost tore that country to bits. If not for the UN's intervention, that country would have been wiped out from the face of the Earth!"

No matter how calm Mo Ning was, she shuddered as she heard that.

Yan Sinian's immaculate features appeared in her mind as she recalled that handsome yet gentle smile. She simply could not process and link such a princely-looking person to a Godfather of terrorist organization.

But seeing the fear in her classmate's eyes, she knew that they were not bluffing.

"Forget it, it has nothing to do with us."

She changed the topic.

"Let's go."

"Yeah, lets!"

As the rest headed inside with the waiter leading the way, they soon reached a room that was decorated like a small palace.

Music started playing as the popping of champagne was heard. The moment the group got out of the oppressive gaze of Yan Sinian, their mood to party was back again.

The group danced as they drank and away from the blinding lights, Mo Ning sat by a corner, a rare, genuine smile appeared on her face.

Only today did she realized that she could never achieve what Mo Shan had told her.

'Only your mother and yourself is trustworthy, everyone else that approaches you means to use or lie to you.'

This sort of thinking was too off the hinge. Her classmates were good people and were a friendly bunch.

Mo Ning's aura turned gentle and without that usual unseen distance she pulls, she appeared much friendlier.

And that minor change allowed others to lower their guard and handed her a glass of wine.

"Goddess, we heard that you are going overseas and we have no idea if we'll meet again."

"So, let us toast for you, wishing you all the best!"

"Please remember us as we will forever remember you!"

Mo Ning swept her gaze across each and every exuberant face and threw whatever Mo Shan had told her about 'keeping your cool and not trusting anyone' out of the window.

She raised her glass and clinked it with them.

"I will never forget all of you."

"Cheers!"

As the glasses clinked, a couple of droplets of wine flew about.

These were a group of young adults and their alcoholic tolerance were low, and very quickly they got tipsy.

Mo Ning was no different.

But compared to the rest who were partying their hearts out, she simply sat in a corner with a smile on her face as she drank glass after glass that were handed to her!
