With the few latest editions of Macroeconomics and Principles of Economics, Mo Ning arrived at the library.1

"Oh, hey, Mo Ning, you're here!" Said Liu Beibei as she waved at Mo Ning happily.

"Sorry, something caught on me, let's go." 

Liu Beibei nodded and picked a corner near the window to sit with Mo Ning, who sat in a very formal posture like an illustration of a fairytale prince.

"Gosh, everytime I see him, it's as if the air just disappeared!"

"How handsome, I want him to propel me in my bed!"

"..." Mo Ning raised one of her eyes.

Propel? Sorry to disappoint, I don't have the necessary tool to propel you, girl.

Mo Ning decided to ignore the gossip and flipped through the theory of scarcity. Nevertheless, in the next hour, it appeared that every few so often a girl would "coincidentally" walk by her desk, drop their books, purse, pencil cases, anything or they would brush Mo Ning's arm then apologize for their "carelessness" with a wink, sometimes a few. 

"Ning…" Initiated Liu Beibei after a while. 

"So, I heard that Yan Sinian has joined your dormitory."

"Yes." 

"There's something weird about him…" Added Liu Beibei, a warning all of sudden, "Be careful, okay?" 

Be careful? What?

Mo Ning looked totally bewildered at Beibei.

Every girl in this school complimented Yan Sinian as if an reincarnation of Flynn Rider and you're saying that he's weird? 

Liu Beibei, who seemingly caught on Mo Ning's eyes, replied with a whisper "The moment Luo Bei left the house, he just moved in. I think it's kinda clear of what he wants." 

"Alright, I'll take caution." Mo Ning replied approvingly with an unspoken rule of letting sensitive issues be—a sign of their rapport.

"Beibei, what other course do you plan to take?" 

"Maybe music. I thought of becoming a singer after graduation…Hope that there'll be people who like me at least…" Liu Beibei whispered with blushes on her face.

Mo Ning combed her hair with her fingers, "Well, I am a person with great taste. If I like you, people should like you too."

"R-really…" said Beibei very softly as her face completely reddened. 

Meanwhile in between one of the racks nearby…

"What?!"

"Shuuush!" The girls had been spying on Mo Ning since the very second Mo Ning sat down and their hatred towards Liu Beibei grew exponentially the moment Mo Ning "confessed" about her feelings—a super big scoop among them. "We need to let the people know, especially that girl."

"Yes." 

Just like Mo Ning and Liu Beibei who headed to the cafeteria and to the classroom respectively, the two eavesdroppers quickly left the library too. 

It had been an hour. 

"I'll just have to place these books back in my drawer, I'll join you at the cafeteria shortly." Liu Beibei's words echoed yet an hour had passed. 

Mo Ning frowned in worry as she walked through the corridor. 

"Lin Da, did you know what Liu Beibei just did?"

"What?" 

"She just did that to our idol. OUR IDOL! How shameless she is! It's terrifying!" 

The exchange caught Mo Ning's complete attention. She stormed towards them and seized one of their hands. They were furious talking about Liu Beibei at first but Mo Ning's sudden entry turned them into a shrinking violet.

"Ah…Mo…Mo Ning? Hey…what's up?"

The drastic change of personality gave goosebumps all over her body as she withdrew her hand, "Hey, pretty girl, can I ask you something?" 

"Pretty girl?" The girl was stunned. Even though it was a big fat lie, it sounded very convincing coming from their idol, the girl nodded vigorously, "Yes, anything. Anything. You want my birthdate for astrology?" 

"Uh…no. But something more important." 

Good. Tell me everything.

Mo Ning gave off a friendly smile and little did people know that was when she had the nastiest plot.
