It was completely dark when Mo Ning regained consciousness and bolted up from the ground. Her hand fumbled through her surroundings and managed to find a standing lamp which she immediately turned on. 1

The dim light filled the space as she examined her surroundings. It was not her dormitory. It was not her mother's place either. She could only conclude that Jiang Xiuyuan brought her to a bedroom somewhere. She frowned with slight pain drumming inside her head as she pinched her brows and got off the bed. 

Torn pieces of her clothes fell off the moment she leapt off the bed.

The explosion had destroyed her clothing. She looked like a homeless beggar by then. She couldn't care less but her drawstring was already barely covered.

She must not be seen or it would bring her unnecessary drama. A piece of clothing was hung by the chair next to her bed. It was for her apparently. She discarded the torn and dirty white shirt and undid her drawstring as intended to redo the wrapping. Upon relief at her bosom, her motherhood bounced in liberation.

Sigh… 

She accepted the fact that she might never be able to reveal them as she covered them up again. Bit by bit, round and round.

"Mo Ning, you…" The door creaked as Jiang Xiuyun showed up by the door and caught Mo Ning in shock.
