The dormitory was dim and quiet. She took a look around in the dark. It was too quiet. She did not even hear the soft snores coming from her roommates. Huo Junyu had always been the homeless goth ghost that liked loafing around the compound—he never spent his night at the dormitory as far as she remembered. 2

Regarding the dark godfather, one whom she was most cautious of, he obviously would be too busy settling things in the dark to be on his bed at the dormitory punctually. 

Mo Ning felt calmer having as thought so as she fumbled over her bed for her basin of toiletries before leaving for a shower.

She felt safe being in the dark. She took off her shirt slowly as the water filled her basin. With only a pair of short pants and her chest restrainers, she began rubbing her body with a wet towel.

"Yikes." That was when she heard clatters upon knocking off another basin nearby. Surprised, she stepped onto it and slipped. She went to reach for the wall but a strong arm wrapped her through her waists. Frozen, she could hear the heartbeat coming from the rock hard chests of that man. 

"Wait, who are you?!" Mo Ning did a brief shriek only to have her mouth covered by the callused palm. In his grip, she squirmed. 

"Huo Junyu is here tonight. He's sleeping right out there. If you don't want him to wake up, I suggest you shut up," the man's voice rang hoarsely by her ear. 

It was nerve-wrecking rather than arousing as she realized that it was him.

Despite being in the dark, a few proper glances could have exposed her actual gender. 

What should I do now?

God, somebody save me! 

She squirmed and that was enough hint to tell Yan Sinian something was on, as his grip tightened, "Now I know why the emperors feasted upon beauties with a sylphlike body. I swear to God, you're kinda hot. Look at your waists." 

Mo Ning did not see his expression but his tone gave him away. Her heart raced yet she could only mumble with the hand on her mouth.

Yan Sinian continued exploring her body, gradually shifting his hand upwards.

"?!" 

God d*mmit! What does this man want from me again?

Yan Sinian was not wild as Mo Ning thought he would behave in the dark. Instead, he was curious. Curious like a beast with lustrous eyes in the night. To have his doubts answered, he thought as he sneered.

"..."

Stop it! STOP IT! 

Mo Ning's heart was burning in agitation, she would be exposed within the next few centimeters of the hand going up. Eventually, Mo Ning's searing adrenaline made her deliver a sweeping kick.

And Yan Sinian dodged it easily. 

"Buzz off!" Shouted Mo Ning as she added a punch with all of the strength she could muster. 

This should do it.

I had brought that boxer down with this fist before. Yan Sinian will not be able to dodge this. 

W-what?

Yan Sinian not only did not avoid the attack, he swiftly seized her arm.

It looked gentle yet Mo Ning could not even press him down.
