It was then she realised how wrong she was. She should have never been so brazen. Wasn't it good to live? Wasn't it great to live honestly?

She was raised to believe that she could get whatever she wanted. She was told that she would be a female of great power even greater than Huishe Shushi herself.

After years of being told that she was the cream of the crop, the best of the best trampling over other females with her goddess halo she acted willfully. But what good was all this if she wasn't alive?

As the life got drawn out of her body she suddenly let out a tear of regret. Just when she thought this was the end of her Rui Fei suddenly let her go.

As she crawled up she heard hurried footsteps but she couldn't even ask for help. Lucky for her these people had come after feeling a massive surge of energy coming from this direction.

Huishe Xiyue was the first to arrive. She knelt before Huishe Yingtao and cross-examined her as she asked, "What happened?"

The other three Huishe family members weren't even surprised. They just stared at her wondering how she managed to hide herself for so long. She was like a cockroach burrowing deep within the gaps of the kitchen cupboards making it very difficult to get rid of.

"Why are you so stupid?" said Huishe Shushi wanting to take her daughter's hand away so she wouldn't bother healing Huishe Yingtao.

Just as Huishe Xiyue wanted to admonish her mother she noticed a light shimmering towards her. When she glanced over she saw a sword that she had recently become familiar with reflecting the light from the moon hanging bright in the sky.

"Ji Yao?" she said before glancing in the direction of the door. There was no need to guess what was happening in there it was just that she wasn't mentally prepared for this.

The other three weren't surprised. The fact that Rui Fei robbed his grandmother's entire kitchen proved how much he loved Ji Yao. It only made sense that they would sneak into each other's rooms as soon as they got the chance.

"Wait... do you smell that?" said Huishe Xiyue as she stood up furrowing her brows. The vexed look on her face suddenly changed to that of surprise.

Qilin Hao and her gang also happened to show up at this point only to be met by Huishe Xiyue's vicious glare.

Acting all innocent Qilin Hao asked, "What?"

"You bitch!" yelled Huishe Xiyue.

"Ohhh," exclaimed Huishe Yue who had never heard his sister swear like that. One has to remember Huishe Xieyue always had a good temperament and barely got angry. She was a little angel in Huishe Nan and Huishe Shushi's eyes yet she just swore at Qilin Hao in front of everyone.

That's when the two heard painful groans coming from below them. Qilin Hao stepped aside and asked, "Aren't you going to deal with her?"

Huishe Nan tsked and said, "Yue-er, help her up," but there was no response. When he turned around he found that his son who was just here a moment ago was gone. When he looked around and saw that Lan Wu person wasn't there either he instantly got a headache.

Sighing he called over one of the Huishe warriors to pick Huishe Yingtao up. He then turned to Qilin Hao and said, "Well played. Now we have no choice but to own up to our agreement."

A light chuckle escaped her throat as she said, "You will also have to pay damages. Your grandson did after all nibble into our family's cabbage without consent."
