Ji Yao was pretty sure that if Rui Fei had long ears they would have been drooping right now. Rui Fei retracted his tongue and stared at him aggrievedly while saying, "You said I can take a look."

"Yah, take a look not lick. It's just a mole. There is nothing special about it," replied Ji Yao about to ask him to come out of the quilt. But Rui Fei wasn't resigned. He directly went for the kill nibbling on Ji Yao's thigh making the man shudder involuntarily.

"Ah, Ah-Fei..... let's, let's... get married," he said with a slight whimper in his tone. Rui Fei's body froze for a moment before he abruptly opened up the quilt with a frown.

"But we are already married," whispered Rui Fei showing off his ring that was glimmering under the sunlight seeping through the windows.

Ji Yao placed his arm beneath his head like a pillow and said, "I meant publicly...." He raised his hand and stroked Rui Fei's hair with his slender fingers while saying, "We will be quite busy after this so how about it? You don't want to marry me?"

Rui Fei stared at him blankly for a very long time before suddenly embracing Ji Yao at his waist tightly unwilling to let go. Ji Yao lowered his hand and touched Rui Fei's head.

"What? Are you unwilling?" he asked in a low voice that's when he felt his naked belly had something wet and warm flowing on it. His hand paused as he stared at Rui Fei. Was Rui Fei crying?

Yes, he was crying and not just light tears but a heavy full-on flood like the flood gates had been opened. Ji Yao stroked his hair comfortingly while calling out to him in a whisper, "Baby.... what's wrong? Are you unhappy? If you don't want then I....."

Ji Yao didn't get to finish his sentence because Rui Fei sat up and he was hiding his face while kneeling on the bed. Even he couldn't understand why he was crying. All of a sudden he began to pour out all the grievances he felt all this time.

"No, I want it, I want it so bad. Yesterday you got robbed from me right before my eyes..... It was so painful. You promised you would never leave me but everyone keeps trying to rob you away from me."

"It was that green witch then your mother now it's that stupid son of a bitch who took you away yesterday. Knowing that he has that much power.... power to make you disappear makes me so mad that I want to kill him."

The more he spoke the more the darkness in his body blossomed like a black rose at the peak of a snowy cold mountain. The dark fog within him sprout forth taking hold of his body and it slowly seeped out surrounding him with murderous intent.

His fingers curled like claws of a demon as he said, "I wanted ... I want to drain him of all his power and become the most powerful so I can, I can protect you. No one and I mean no one would be able to take you away from me. Not even the heavens can separate us. Ji Yao, you belong to me..... only me. We belong together. Just, just don't...."

As the words poured out of his soul his eyes turned pitch black as the tears flowed down like a waterfall. His tears dripped from between his fingers before falling on Ji Yao's body.

Ji Yao could feel every emotion within Rui Fei's body. Anger, fear, rage, frustration, grief and contempt were brewing as the monster within was threatening to rear its ugly head. He was on the verge of having an outburst.

Ji Yao sat up with his arms wrapped around Rui Fei's neck. Without much thought, he removed Rui Fei's hands from his face and kissed his lips disregarding the wetness on his face. Rui Fei wanted to pull away feeling a little awkward because of the wetness on his face but Ji Yao wouldn't let him go.

A sweet fragrance infiltrated his entire being from his body to his aether calming the dark storm within. Ji Yao engaged his aether gradually releasing seraphic energy as he deepened the kiss.

As his tongue swept past Rui Fei's he felt an electric shock strike his nerves making him yearn for more. He wanted to take away all those violent emotions that were holding Rui Fei hostage and this was the only way he knew how.

Rui Fei wasn't as resistant as before. He grasped Ji Yao's waist tightly with his other hand pressing the back of Ji Yao's neck. Lewd sensual sounds of kissing filled the room as the two gradually sank into this wonderful feeling.

After being kissed breathless the two parted with their foreheads pressed against each other panting heavily. Ji Yao's thumb rubbed Rui Fei's cheek feeling the wetness underneath his fingertip as he whispered, "I won't ever leave you. I will make sure of it. So don't be sad, okay?"

Rui Fei nodded his head but in truth, he couldn't dispel his sadness at all. He saw him disappear right in front of his eyes which was the most heartbreaking thing. The fact that he knew someone could take his special person away from him scared him half to death.

When he felt his person walk in last night he was afraid he would break down if he opened his eyes so he could only pretend to sleep and hug him tightly when he had the chance.

He thought he could ignore it and pretend that the previous night didn't happen so he played it cool when Ji Yao came back into the room in the morning.

He honestly thought all those grievances could be suppressed down but the moment Ji Yao asked him to marry him something within him snapped. He didn't break down when he was in the dungeon, he didn't break down when he watched his half-siblings get slaughtered but he completely broke down when Ji Yao was taken away from him.
