Poke and poke at the hornet's nest

While some were discussing how to treat the in-law when he moves into the family and others recruiting fellow CP fans, Huishe Yue was busy screwing with his twin sister and boy did he go all out. 0

"So, if.... that is if Ah-Yao was a girl you would have been a grandmother by now. Hahaha, you be called little Nana and mom will be called big Nana. And based on Ah-Fei's character they would have two by now," he said with his arm around her shoulder like when they were younger.

Hushe Xiyue felt a little exasperated. How could her brother still be this childish after so many years? It was as though time froze for him while she grew up. "You know you talk a lot of smack for a person who would have been a grand uncle. If I am Nana then you are grand uncle Yue. Now get off me," she said before pinching the side of his body relentlessly.

"Shit, Xiyue let go..... ah, ma!"

"Yes, go ahead and cry to mum you little bitch," whispered Huishe Xiyue grabbing his skin through the fabric with her sharp pincers.

"What are you two doing?" asked Rui Fei while observing the pair of twins with great interest. Huishe Xiyue who had lost face in front of her son hurriedly gathered herself while hiding away the devil's claws which were her fingers.

"Nothing, come on honey let's walk together. Let's leave the crazy by themselves," said Huishe Xiyue with a nervous laugh. Unfortunately, Huishe Yue wasn't planning on being left behind. He squeezed in between them and draped his arms on both their shoulders.

"Crazy people know each other. Let's go quickly. I want to introduce you to my new sweetheart," he said dragging them along with no chance to escape.

"But I already met him so why should I be dragged along," asked Rui Fei struggling to free himself from his uncle's clutches.

Huishe Yue grasped him even tighter and whispered, "Not as my boyfriend you haven't. Now, don't make trouble when we get there. Be polite. He is a little sensitive right now."

"As long as it is not that scheming witch, Wei Wei, I will be extremely polite to them. Your track record with relationships is tainted," replied Huishe Xiyue prepared to dish out all her brother's secrets to Lan Wu and boy, did she have a lot of them to divulge.

Unfortunately, when they got to the main hall they were surprised by the boisterous crowd arguing over each other. It seemed they had taken too long to come to the main hall that people formed factions and began to argue.

There were three main factions which were the Qilin to the west, the rest of the clans to the east and the humans to the north. There were clear boundaries between the three but the distance was getting shorter and shorter the louder they argued. And what was the argument about? Politics.

Yes, politics. The other clans were still getting used to the idea that there was a great possibility they would be ruled over by a half Qilin barely out of his diapers. While the Qilin had jumped on the bandwagon to support their half breed king.

Yes, the situation wasn't ideal and they would have much preferred a pure-blood Qilin to be in power but beggars can't be choosers, right. Humans and half breed nocru on the other hand were clamouring for the purebloods to go back to their own world. Who in this world wanted to be toppled over their position at the top of the food chain. They could accept half breeds because they were part human and they stood together in times of crisis but not purebloods. They had caused enough trouble already.

As for the Concord, they sat this one out with Big Hei and Xunshi Zhe distributing snacks. It was a fun show to watch anyway. Even the celestials were sitting in the high seat watching with great interest. It was like watching fights in the parliament live.

And this high seat the Lord of the Celestials was sitting on was the one and only dragon throne but no one dared to tell him to move. Unfortunately, Rui Fei wasn't as timid. As soon as he lay eyes on him his face turned ugly. He wanted nothing more but to rush over and pull him out of that seat by the hair but those three bitches were watching him like hawks. Any wrong move and they would make him suffer a great tribulation and obliterate him on the spot.

While Rui Fei was having a staring contest with the great Lord who liked robbing other people's seats and wives, Ji Yao walked in and the entire main hall fell into silence. Ji Yao didn't have to say anything. All he needed to do was walk in and the rest would clamp their mouths shut and make way for him.

Like preschoolers in the presence of the principal, they hurried on to their seats with the only sound coming from the benches and chairs being moved. Ji Yao's gaze was focused on the seat up front. Stopping next to Rui Fei he asked, "Do you want him off?"

Rui Fei nodded his head like a chicken pecking at rice.

Even if he didn't want to sit there he wouldn't let that bastard sit there. He had been tormented by the man who sat in that seat prior and he felt like he earned his stripes to take that place. In other words, he was the rightful heir to that throne and had been disrespected by this bastard.

Ji Yao smiled slightly staring at this pup who was showing his teeth growling at his opponent. Okay, his sweetheart wants the seat so he was going to have to go head to head with a bunch of celestials.

Ji Yao wasn't at all terrified as he walked forward with a domineering aura surrounding every inch of his body. He stood right in front of the gang of bullies and said, "You..... that's my husband's seat, get off."

Celestials, "..."

The Lord of the Celestials snuggled comfortably into the seat like he wasn't going anywhere. With his feet up he said, "My name is not you... I much prefer Lord of the Celestials for those who aren't familiar with me. And for those who are they can call me Lord Tiāntǐ... but for you, you can call me Qīn (English equivalent of bae)....."

Ji Yao felt a figure flash by while yelling, "You son of a bitch," before Lord Tiāntǐ's neck was grasped by Rui Fei surrounded by a suffocating killing intent. Unfortunately for Rui Fei, he was like a pup trying to bite a dragon. It was painless and rather amusing.

Ji Yao wanted to grab his husband and stop him from further provoking this big buddha who could annihilate an entire race at the snap of his finger but Huishe Xiyue beat him to it. She grabbed her son and shoved him into Ji Yao's hands before apologizing on his behalf.
