Qilin San's punishment
Qilin Hao who had been holding back when she heard his mother being referred to as a bitch hastily got up intending to burn this fucker's mouth. But before she could get to him she was held back by Ji Wen. 1
Angered that someone had stopped her she tried to attack them only for her body to be held in a tight embrace. Since she couldn't physically get to him she engaged her aether and a Qilin made of flames directly attacked Qilin San.
Qilin San's body was thrown a few feet away but he strangely got up and continued to kowtow before the Lord of the Celestials. He was bleeding from his mouth and nose half his body burnt with his robe sticking to his flesh. The sight was extremely brutal with the smell of burnt flesh wafting into the air causing the men who hadn't seen such to dry heave while others looked away.
He had truly lost his mind. This enraged her further and like a beast on a tight leash she lashed out with her words while trying to escape Ji Wen's hold. Normally he wasn't as powerful as her but because he was her beloved it was especially hard to free herself.
The man pulled out all his cards to prevent her from clawing Qilin San's face. "You son of a bitch! Who are you calling a bitch? Just because she didn't like your ugly ass you forced her and killed her! Let go of me..... You had so many other women who would willingly crawl into your bed but you had to force her you fucker!! You, let me go wuwuwuwu let me go wuwuwuwu," she yelled and her shouts suddenly changed to heartbreaking wails.
Her punches on Ji Wen's chest became weaker and weaker as her cries slowly died down. It's not because she had stopped crying but she was so emotionally overwhelmed that she had a nervous breakdown and passed out.
She was normally a strong woman but this broke her to pieces. Thanks to Qilin San she didn't even have to get to see a single portrait of what her mother looked like.
Qilin San had burnt all of them and all her things as though trying to erase her existence. It was as though Qilin Hao just appeared out of thin air and didn't have a mother.
If it weren't for one of the few surviving servants that served her mother she might not have had anything to remind her of her mother. That pendant was smelt onto her sword becoming a part of it.
The Lord of the Celestials glanced over in Qilin Hao's direction recalling how he appeared beside Qilin Hao's mother in a ghostly appearance and whispered a few words to her urging her to destroy that acany seed. She couldn't see him but apparently Qilin San saw him however brief it was.
He had long influenced all clans into rejecting the old system but who would have thought that Qilin would remain resolute. Despite the bloody battle that wiped out half the population of Niuq thousands upon thousands of years ago the Qilin remained steadfast.
They still wanted a king from their clan and once that person showed up they would support him or her to the very end. Thus he was forced to directly intervene.
One might ask how he missed Ji Yao then? It was because he couldn't see everything. He could only see what he was supposed to see and correct it. Ji Yao was never an issue up until he became an issue.
He raised Qilin San's chin with his foot forcing him to look up before saying, "You know what crimes you committed hence this Lord can only hand down a severe punishment. For every action, there is an equal reaction. For every decision good or bad there would be consequences. Before this lord hands down judgment do you have any last words?"
Qilin San didn't seem to comprehend what he was saying. He simply glanced over in Qilin Hao's direction and said, "That hoe's seed is a problem. What is she crying for? How wasn't I good enough for your mother, huh? Acting all innocent like a green tea bitch making me look like the fuckin bad guy. Pei! Pei! Qilin Yao, I spit on your grave a thousand-."
Before he could finish his cursing Lord Tiāntǐ's lips twitched in annoyance and he began to disintegrate Qilin San's body little by little.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!"
Gut-wrenching screams filled the main hall making everyone petrified as an ice-cold chill spread all over their bodies. They weren't the ones being disintegrated but they could almost feel his pain. It was the kind of pain that seeped deep into one's bones and deeply engraved itself to serve as a reminder.
"Little Hao... little Hao..... save me! If you, you don't I will..... AAAAAHHHHH I will..... kill, kill that half.... breed bastard of yours AAAAAAHHHHHH save me, somebody..... anybody..... save me please."
But no matter how hard he screamed and threatened no one came to his rescue. He was all alone. His fellow Nocru looked away in fright. They didn't want to fall under this vicious Lord's radar. They were so afraid that a single glance could provoke this Lord and get them killed. This feeling was especially intense among the Qilin clan, especially the elders.
They had watched from the sidelines as Qilin San did as he pleased. Even if they had done something to stop him they wouldn't have necessarily succeeded.
It was people like Qilin Yao who dared to defy him and when she did she was thoroughly made an example of. For her entire pregnancy she was locked up her aether suppressed until the day she gave birth.
Because when she gave birth she had to engage her aether she was loosened from her restraints. This is why she could inject her seraphic energy into Qilin Hao and identify the anomaly. Other than her no one in the entire clan was brave enough to stand against the clan leader for a very very long time.
Even Qilin Hao's rebellion was met with severe consequences that no one else dared to stand up and condemn Qilin San. The fact that he even publicised the torment he inflicted on Qilin Hao beyond Niuq instilled fear in them that they dared not resist his rule.
Who would have thought a half breed who had never stepped a foot into Niuq would stand up against Qilin San and end his reign of tyranny while defending his lover? It was Ji Yao's fearless resistance that made them support him. Sure, he could suppress them with his power as King but when he wasn't they still wanted to bow before him and proudly call him their king. Now that Ji Yao had accepted the responsibility then they would support him to the very end.
