A few strands of his hair were stuck on his sweat-covered forehead and his once upright back was now slouched as he breathed heavily.

Everything was blank. Even the words that were written before had vanished like someone had erased the future and iced him out.

How could this be? That's when a sudden thought crossed his mind. His hands trembled as he fell back into the state of meditation.

While Lord Tiāntǐ was trying to figure out the mess he had stirred up Ji Yao was visiting his greatest supporters.

Rui Yewan had bounced back after sleeping it out for a couple of hours and drinking the medicine prepared by Old Du. When he saw his two older brothers walking over he was so excited that he ran over stopping a foot distance in front of them.

Rui Fei placed his hand on Rui Yewan's shoulder and said, "I heard you suffered a great injustice. Would you like this older brother to avenge you?"

Rui Yewan smiled happily looking at his brother that seemed to be glowing radiantly like a newly wedded wife and shook his head.

"Great injustice indeed..... Why does it look like you two-," he said before he was suddenly cut off when Rui Li rushed over and jumped on Rui Fei's back causing the two brothers to stumble forward.

"Saozi! Fei-ge! I missed you so so much," said Rui Li while lazily resting her head on Rui Fei's shoulder smiling at Ji Yao.

Ji Yao felt all the pressure and stress from earlier wash away as he reached out to pat Rui Li's head.

"Did you now. I missed you too," he replied before his hand that was about to reach Rui Li's head was suddenly caught by her. Realising her mistake she immediately let go but her wide eyes remained fixed on the ring on Ji Yao's finger.

Her brain short-circuited for a moment and all the words that could come out of her mouth were incoherent and hard to comprehend. "Wha-.... wha-..... huh....," she stammered before Rui Fei's voice cut her off.

"Are you a monkey? Get off me," he said but his hand was suddenly grabbed by Rui Li and there it was. A fuckin ring.

Seeing her expression that was on the verge of erupting Rui Yewan resolutely closed his ears as he said, "Oh boy."

Less than a second later she exploded in shrill screams. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" she screamed scaring the birds into flying away. One can imagine how painful Rui Fei's sensitive ears were.

He dropped her like a hot potato and covered Ji Yao's ears with the palms of his hands.

Ji Yao, "...."

Because of the way he was holding Ji Yao's ears it looked like he was about to pull him over and kiss him thus the screams only got worse.

"AH AH AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!"

"Fuck, Li-er shut up," said Rui Fei but it was like talking to a brick wall.

Ji Yao snapped his fingers and a barrier surrounded them blocking the excited screams from Rui Li. "Don't stop her. She is just happy for us," said Ji Yao before standing on his tiptoes and kissing Rui Fei.

Rui Fei, "!!!"

Rui Li who had somewhat calmed down was excited again covering her face with her hands while peeking through her fingers.

"AAAAAAHHHHH mmmm..... mmm," she screamed only for her mouth to get covered by Rui Yewan whose ears were almost going to bleed from all the screams.

She successfully attracted Lan Wu and Huishe Yue's attention. They had been walking past looking for Tong Tong when they heard her screaming her lungs out.

"What's all the fuss about?" asked Lan Wu only to spot Ji Yao and Rui Fei in a love bubble kissing. "Fuck," he swore before walking away.

Huishe Yue grabbed his arm and brought him back while saying, "That's nothing. Let me show you how it's done."

Lan Wu, "WTF!"

"Oh fuck no-," he said before his lips were eaten by this thick-skinned beast.

Rui Li, "....."

She suddenly stopped struggling and her limbs softened. She had actually fainted from excitement like she was at a Michael Jackson concert.

"You!.... You broke her. The four of you broke her," said Rui Yewan fanning Rui Li with his hand.

Ji Yao pushed Rui Fei away and removed the barrier before walking with a look of concern. Rui Fei on the other hand was standing there with a contented smile while rubbing his lower lip with his thumb. Lan Wu walked over with his tail following behind him.

"How do we wake her up?" asked Huishe Yue with a raised brow. He had never thought she would faint from over excitement. Hell, he didn't even know that was even possible.

"Why did you have to do that? Now look she passed out? If her brain is broken then how are you going to compensate?" complained Lan Wu a little distraught.

Huishe Yue wrapped his arms around Lan Wu's shoulder from behind and said, "We can adopt her and spoil her rotten. Would that be enough compensation?"

Lan Wu, "....."

Okay, he really wanted to beat this man up but even that was just wishful thinking. Rui Fei walked over and said, "Waking her up is easy. Wan Wan give it to me."

Rui Yewan placed her on the ground and took out a piece of paper from his storage ring before handing it over to Rui Fei. Rui Fei crouched down and spoke softly,

"Li-er, dage is going to rip apart your special collection."

"Don't!" yelled Rui Li as she got up abruptly and grabbed the paper dangling above her. "Seriously?" she said throwing the plain paper away, "it's not funny."

"Oh wow.... you must love your collection," said Huishe Xiyue while scratching his hair.

"You have no idea," replied Rui Yewan recalling how she almost beat up a female in the Huishe clan for touching one of her novels without permission. She was extremely terrifying when she shows her fangs.
