Typical family dinner
Ji Yao had his head lowered most of the time and he didn't realise what was happening on the other side of the table until it was too late. In his defence, a drunk Rui Fei was much more silent than usual. He was doing a whole lot of staring and a lot less talking. 1
His eyes were slightly red at the corners as he stared at Ji Yao with a heated gaze. He seemed to be stuck in a trance even when he ate or drank. He subconsciously bit his lower lip with his restless leg that had kicked his uncle under the table moving slightly as though contemplating something.
Maybe it was because he was desperate for his lover's attention or the liquor had gotten into his head that he decided to go for it. Ji Yao who had his head lowered suddenly felt something soft touching his leg.
His gaze abruptly shifted upwards and he met Rui Fei's obsidian eyes. The man was now sitting with his back lazily leaning against the backrest of the chair. His sitting posture allowed him to stretch his legs underneath the table and reach his target.
With a slight quirk at the corner of his lips, his foot explored up as the rim of his cup touched his lips. That provocative gaze made Ji Yao unable to react for a while.
It was as though those gorgeous eyes drew him in captivating his mind, body and soul that his IQ plummeted.
Ji Yao's heartbeat quickened and his cheeks grew hot the longer he stared into those eyes. Having successfully charmed his man Rui Fei's foot became more brazen rubbing against Ji Yao's crotch through the fabric.
Ji Yao bit his inner lip as he spread his legs a little. The width between the thighs wasn't big enough for the people around him to notice but it was enough for Rui Fei to rub that member that was already forming an outline underneath the fabric.
Ji Yao pulled the table cloth a little to cover up more of his lower half as he gulped to moisten his throat. Rui Fei rubbed his lower lip with his index finger as he lowered his body a little more but his foot was suddenly grasped by Ji Yao's hand.
Ji Yao was so stimulated that he could barely breathe. If this continued he was sure everyone around him would notice that something was wrong. Rui Li will probably faint and he won't have the courage to face his mother in law.
Ji Yao rubbed Rui Fei's foot through the socks which was a big contrast to the threatening gaze he had on his face that seemed to say, 'don't make trouble.'
Rui Fei who looked like a dark storm cloud was looming above his head for the entire night smiled for the first time as his foot was removed from Ji Yao's crotch.
It was when he straightened his body up that Ji Yao noticed something was wrong. This man was as high as a kite. If it weren't for that subtle stagger Ji Yao wouldn't have been able to tell.
He was about to ask him when Ji Wen, the criminal, walked over and draped his arm around Rui Fei's shoulders and said, "Wah... look at my new son. Isn't he precious?" After saying this he was courageous enough to squish Rui Fei's face with his thumb and four fingers on either side of Rui Fei's cheeks.
Rui Fei wasn't angry at all. With the liquor getting to his head he was extremely indulgent. He smiled sheepishly like a husky being patted while staring at Ji Yao with half-lidded eyes.
Ji Yao, "....."
Well, there was another drunk one.
Ji Wen suddenly raised his cup with his other hand still on Rui Fei's shoulders and said, "I used to like him and... and I wanted him to be friends with my little ice prince over there....Then I never, never liked him... after I found out he... seduced my innocent little Ya Ya. Oh, this old man..... this old man was angry," beating his chest like his heart hurt, "he broke into my family's garden and nibbled on our family's little cabbage."
"Fuck," muttered Lady Ching Sei while Big Hei and Xunshi Zhe walked over to convince him to sit down and the result?
"No, no..... don't touch me. I am not done..... I am still talking," he said pushing them away, "but after fighting it out today I realised..... I, I realised.... um," his voice trailing off having forgotten the words he wanted to say.
"You like him?" said Qilin Hao trying to help her drunk husband.
"Yes, yes but.... but not that. Oh yes... I realised that I found someone to fight with. A father should be able to tussle with his son and, and... since I can't bear to scuffle with my sweet Ya Ya then I can only beat him up," he said with his finger pointing at Rui Fei who was smiling foolishly for some reason.
Everyone, "..."
"Come, come... congratulate this king of the sea. Ya Ya, you should respect your husband and cherish him. And don't deny him se-,"
"Oh okay, that's enough from you. Here eat something," said Qilin Hao stuffing a spoonful of wontons into Ji Wen's mouth. The Concord were experts at dispelling awkward situations. They cheered boisterously with their cups clinking while welcoming the pirate king's new son.
"Move for this ancestor," said Ji Wen after swallowing the wontons. Lan Wu, who had been bullied off his seat looked on helplessly at his captain only for Ji Wen to say, "What are you sulking for? Sit on his lap."
The lap he was referring to was Huishe Yue's. At first when his lover was bullied Huishe Yue wanted to say something but when he heard the follow-up statement he pulled Lan Wu over and directly placed him on his lap.
Lan Wu's ears turned red as he spoke through gritted teeth. "Your family is watching," he whispered struggling to get up.
The serpent's kiss seemed to have also gotten into Huishe Yue's head because he wrapped his arm around Lan Wu's waist and asked, "Does father mind?"
Huishe Nan who had been enjoying watching his in-laws make fools of themselves shook his head as he took a sip of this good stuff. Maybe he was also buzzed.
"Nope. I am minding my own business over here," said Huishe Nan.
The corner of Huishe Yue's lips quirked up as he looked at his mother who weirdly was wearing the same expression as Rui Li. He was about to ask when she coughed lightly and said, "Oh no, don't mind this old lady. Carry on as long as you don't take things too far. Someone might faint again." Yes, she had heard about that and boy did she find it hilarious.
Rui Li, "....."
Did everyone in the world hear about that? Don't blame her for fainting. It was too stimulating. Anyone would faint after seeing that.
