A proprietress of the establishment rushed over to welcome the unusual group of guests that smelt of money from a distance. The smile on her face was especially big as she led them upstairs to the best private room in the restaurant. 2

Holding Ji Yao's hand Rui Fei led him to sit in the best seat in the house. Rui Yewan sat beside Rui Fei but Rui Li sat next to Xiao Yunqi.

"Since this will ultimately be regarded as the last gathering before these two husbands become one we should drink," said Zhang Ci sitting right next to Duan De.

"You are surprisingly enlightened," said Rui Li referring to Zhang Ci. If she had a cup of wine she might have toasted him.

Rui Yewan could pick up on what she was saying so he reprimanded her, "Not for you. You are still young."

Despite reprimanding her he still felt a sense of unease especially when Shuijing was eyeing her like an alpha female on the hunt. He believed his sister would make excellent choices but he was still so overprotective. If one looks at these siblings' childhood one would understand why.

Curling his index and middle finger he gestured for her to come over and sit next to him. "Come here," beckoned Rui Yewan ignoring the look from Shuijing.

Rui Li wanted to refuse but when she saw Rui Fei arch his brow she didn't refute anymore. She got up dragging along Xiao Yùnqì and Tong Tong. How could she forget to bring along her new CP?

After she sat down Rui Fei turned to Ji Yao and asked, "Drinking?" while rubbing his back.

Ji Yao shifted his body towards him till their knees were rubbing against each other and replied, "Yes but only a little. We still have things to deal with later."

What he didn't realise was that everything after the word 'yes' was white noise to Rui Fei. Why one might ask? It was because all he could see was this face in front of him.

He was staring at him affectionately like he had been overcome by instantaneous love. His face lit up like he had seen colour for the first time caressing the man's face with his heated gaze. When his eyes fell on Ji Yao's soft red lips his heart skipped a beat. His natural reaction was to kiss those lips but he restrained himself biting his lower lip instead. His hand moving behind Ji Yao's back stopped with his thumb being the only finger moving. He caressed Ji Yao's back with his thumb fighting the urge to pull him closer and kiss him.

"You are fighting the urge to kiss me, aren't you?" whispered Ji Yao leaning in a little closer.

Rui Fei didn't shy away. He outrightly admitted it like a criminal saying 'Guilty as charge your honour, please arrest me'.

"Yes..... so can I?" he said his hand that was lying quietly on Ji Yao's back becoming restless. 

Ji Yao moved his face closer to Rui Fei's and whispered, "No but... when we get back I will let you do whatever you want." Rui Fei couldn't get enough of Ji Yao.

The man was like an opioid to him. When he was around he have this inexplicable euphoric feeling that was highly addictive but when he was not around he would have a nervous breakdown craving for him.

He was a little sad that he couldn't get to taste that sweet taste but knowing that he had been given a blank cheque for tonight he calmed down. With his head slumping onto Ji Yao's shoulder and his hands around the man's waist back and front he answered, "Okay."

Rui Li who had been chatting it up with the two boys suddenly looked and when she saw this her heart fluttered like it was about to fly off on its own. Like a peeping Jane, she stared at them watching how her older brother was acting coquettish with his head resting on Ji Yao's shoulder. This was pure gold premium content for a well-versed fujoshi like her.

She wanted to give them some privacy and not stare so much but dang..... it was so hard not to look. Especially when Ji Yao's hand caressed Rui Fei's arm wrapped around his waist. Her eyes widened as she suppressed a blossoming smile.

She partially covered her lips with her fingers trying not to squeal and startle the mandarin ducks. Her cheeks burnt like magma as she stared at the two with stars in her eyes.

If it weren't for Xiao Yùnqì nudging her she would have continued staring. Having been disturbed she stared at the culprit with a look of annoyance. "You better have something fuckin serious to say otherwise you won't walk out of here alive," she said with her fist clenched like she was ready to knock him out. 

Rui Yewan who had a full understanding of his sister's temperament let out a throaty chuckle while shaking his head. He was well aware that when his sister was staring at this pair being lovey-dovey one shouldn't disturb. It was her personal time, her 'me time' and that should be respected unless you have a death wish.

Xiao Yùnqì could feel her anger so he said, "I wanted to ask why you like this so much?"

Rui Li who couldn't understand what this was stared at him confusedly with an arched brow. "Like what?" she asked as the attendants placed some hot and cold beverages on the table.

Rui Li moved to the side slightly as a jar was placed in front of her. Pretending Rui Yewan wasn't beside her she tilted the porcelain bottle pouring out some warm rice wine in her cup. As the liquid flowed out her smile grew wider and wider. It seemed today she would be able to get her wish and drink.

As soon as the liquid reached the rim of the cup she gently put down the porcelain bottle with the smell of success in the air. She lifted the cup with a triumphant smile but halfway her wrist was caught.

Aggrieved she stared in Rui Yewan's direction with an almost begging expression but Rui Yewan wasn't buying it. He took the cup from her hand which was incredibly difficult as her fingers were clutching that cup tightly.

With the cup in his hand, he downed the entire thing staring straight at her before placing it on the table. With a slight smile at the corner of his lips, he said, "Li-er is such a wonderful sister pouring a cup of wine for her brother."

Rui Li, "..."

'Who the fuck is pouring wine for you?' she swore internally but showed a fake smile on her face.

Rui Yewan was satisfied by her response as he took away the bottle of wine. This was also another reason he couldn't have her sitting far away. She had a high affinity for wine despite being young.
