The entire time Ji Yao was getting dressed he kept mumbling complaints. It was obvious that the moment he decided to take on this task his life would never be the same but dang..... it was starting to look like he was babysitting adults.2

While standing in front of the full-length bronze mirror he noticed a bite mark on his collarbone. Yes, he had multiple bruises that were fading but this mark was especially defined.

He brushed the mark with his fingertips and his gaze shifted to the culprit's reflection in the mirror. Rui Fei was lying shirtless on the bed ogling at him while biting his lower lip.

"Baby..... did you sink your teeth in my collarbone while I was sleeping?" he asked while putting on his inner garment.

Rui Fei who had most definitely taken a bite out of him when he was passed out pretended to be innocent while casually responding,

"Must be a mosquito or something because I wouldn't dare." After saying this he got up and slowly walked over. He stood behind Ji Yao and his strong arms wound around his waist. Rui Fei's head rested on Ji Yao's shoulder before he kissed the mark Ji Yao was referring to.

"See.... my teeth don't even match the bite mark," he said with a straight face.

Ji Yao chuckled while grabbing his blue brocade robe. "As jealous as you are you wouldn't even let a mosquito bite me. Better yet if it so much as looks at me the wrong way you will scare it to death with that sharp gaze of yours."

Rui Fei let him go while helping him put on the robe. With a smile on his face, he said, "Yes, it better not even think about drinking my sweet heart's blood otherwise I will murder it in cold blood."

The mosquito that doesn't even have teeth to commit such an offence: QAQ

Ji Yao tied the belt around his robe while responding, "Which means you.... are the one who bit me." After saying this he spun around and faced Rui Fei while poking his bare chest with his index finger. "Do I look like a midnight snack to you?"

Rui Fei smiled smugly while taking small steps backwards. "Baby, why are you asking questions you already know the answers to? You are so much more than a midnight snack. You are an appetizer..... a full-on entree and... a delicious dessert... also a snack in between meals," he said taking a step back with each declaration.

Ji Yao who had been described as an entire menu gently pushed him away and turned to walk away but his hand that did the pushing was suddenly pulled and his lips were kissed.

Rui Fei's initial intention was to give him a light kiss because the people outside were still waiting for Ji Yao but he seriously overestimated his self-restraint.

The steps he took before led to him bumping the table behind him and when Ji Yao pushed him half his ass was already pressed on the table. When he pulled Ji Yao into his arms the man fit in between his thighs like the perfect puzzle piece. With that said his self-restraint crumbled.

As their bodies plastered together, Rui Fei's hand burrowed into Ji Yao's silky hair sliding to the back of his head deepening the kiss. The sweet taste of those lips made him yearn for more. It was so intoxicating that his mind was a blurred mess intensifying the electric feeling in his nerve endings.

He subconsciously released his seraphic energy further provoking Ji Yao. "Mm....," was the sound that escaped Ji Yao's throat while pressing hard against Rui Fei's body like he intended to climb on top of him and straddle his lover on this table.

Ji Yao licked the tip of Rui Fei's tongue with his fingers digging into the side of his lover's waist.

Ji Yao felt hardness below Rui Fei's waist and suddenly got more excited. His hand slid down there his fingers brushing the man's smooth skin in a provocative way enticing the beast that had held back its desire for two days.

But unfortunately, today wasn't going to end with a happy ending because the door was softly knocked again dousing this passionate moment with ice-cold water. Ji Yao slightly turned his head and glared at the door before looking back at Rui Fei whose lips looked like a plump cherry swollen and red.

Ji Yao leaned towards his ear and whispered, "I am sorry love, you might have to take care of this yourself," before kissing his cheek and walking away.

Rui Fei, "...."

Dejected he lay back on the table and sighed deeply his fingertips pressing his forehead. Was this what they meant when they said, 'Being bitten by something one dug up by themselves?'

Seeing that Ji Yao was seriously getting ready to leave by himself, Rui Fei sat up and looked at him aggrieved. "Baby, you provoked me and you are just going to walk away leaving me like this?"

Ji Yao who was tying up his hair turned to glance at him with an evil grin before saying, "Who provoked who you know it yourself. Don't take too long." After saying this he really left. He opened the door and left him with that hardness poking through his pants.

Rui Fei chuckled loudly as he stared down at his junior brother who couldn't restrain himself and sighed. "I guess it's just you and me then..... *sigh," he said before getting up and walking behind the folding screen where the wooden bathtub was to take care of business.

Ji Yao came out alone his expression not so good. It's not that he wasn't a morning person. It's just that he had something he would rather be doing than breaking up a fight between grown-ups.

In heavy footsteps, he strode over only to find two groups some already in their true forms intimidating each other. On the sidelines were the Concord and the human passersby in the peanut gallery enjoying the showdown.

Ji Yao walked over to his father who was sitting on a bench he got from who knows where with Qilin Hao on his lap. His mother was occasionally feeding his father grapes like what was happening in front of them had nothing to do with them. They were only responsible for calling him out to take care of everything.

"Why aren't you two doing something to stop them?" he asked as he stood beside his parents throwing dog food in everyone's faces.

Ji Wen chuckled while saying, "She did. You see that guy lying on the ground called your mother a dumb bitch when she tried to calm them down so she beat the shit out of him."
