YaoFei in the sky
With the ecstasy from that passionate kiss still overwhelming them, Ji Yao let go of his lover and flipped backwards as his entire body was surrounded by a dazzling white light. 0
In the blink of an eye, Ji Yao had transformed into his majestic true form. Because of the crown on top of his head, the armour on his legs and back had changed drastically with a pattern that appeared like characters of a language Rui Fei wasn't familiar with.
It was an ancient language unique only to the past kings. This meant upon awakening they would be able to understand secret scripts that were meant for kings only. To others, it appeared as an intricate pattern with no great significance.
Rui Fei watched Ji Yao move his body in a particular manner as electric flames came out of his body. There was so much pride in his eyes like a basketball wife watching their husband play the best game of their lives.
He was so proud that felt an inexplicable urge to get a tattoo with Ji Yao's characters on his chest. After this thought crossed his mind he felt ridiculous but when he saw what Ji Yao had written in the sky he was now more certain.
In the night sky were the characters YaoFei burning bright like the sun for all to see. Soon after that, they exploded into a myriad of breathtaking fireworks that were well deserving of a grand finale. An amazing display to end this wonderful ceremony.
Ji Yao transformed back to his human form and appeared suddenly in front of Rui Fei. His hand slid behind Rui Fei's neck and pulled him in to kiss his lips. With the firework display flashing behind them it made the romantic scene even more satisfying to their CP fans watching from the ground.
Rui Li who hadn't had an incident in a long time suddenly had a nose bleed and half her brain partially offline. She didn't even feel the blood trickling down her nose as she gawked at these two like a pervert. If it weren't for Rui Yewan wiping her nose for her she would have stained her robe with blood.
Huishe Shushi and Huishe Xiyue were already planning a wedding while Ji Wen was adding this incident on top of other past grievances. He vowed to have one more round with Rui Fei before the two tied the knot.
Huishe Nan on the other hand was the only one looking for past scripts on how to perform the marriage ceremony for the King of Nocru. Everyone else was either being a pervert watching the pair eat each other's faces or awkwardly looking away.
Qilin Hao on the other hand was sketching the moment as fast as she could. She wanted to gift this to the beautiful couple on their wedding day.
Almost every clan in Niuq witnessed such a tremendous event and plenty had mixed feelings about it. But one thing was certain whether they liked it or not they had a new king and it was absolutely too late to change it.

The Huishe clan's sacred garden overlooking the city was especially busy today. The lush garden that was normally riddled with pink flowers had red ceremonial ribbons embroidered with gold and beautiful lanterns hung up like they were preparing for a wedding.
That's because they were but before such a wonderful ceremony could be performed something very significant had to happen and that was severing the knot of marriage on top of Huishe Yue's head.
Ji Yao wanted to forcefully sever Huishe Yue's tie with Pixiu Wei but after much deliberation, it would seem like he was abusing his power as king. In every other clan's eyes, Wei Wei was the most dedicated and filial woman in Niuq.
She had only been married for a short time when her husband went missing and for years she took great care of her in-laws despite not knowing whether Huishe Yue would ever come back or not. She even gifted a child to the Huishe clan and was forced to raise him without a father.
She lived like a widow for fifty years and now that Huishe Yue had come back they were forcing her to divorce because he had found a new lover in the fifty years he was away. This is how it seemed to the other clans but it was far from the truth.
To publicly clear Huishe Yue's name and break this marriage cleanly Ji Yao did abuse his power. He forced Qilin Kai to come forth and publicly claim his son Qilin Tong. Forced might not be the right term because Qilin Kai would have done it without being asked.
He hated the fact that his son had another man's name and everyone assumed he was of the Huishe clan. That made him so sour that if he didn't have this platform he would still find another way to correct this.
He took full advantage of this and brought his family and son to the City of Kings to everyone's amazement.
What was startling was not the fact that he had Tong Tong by his side rather it was because he was still allowed to walk around freely despite all the misery he caused.
They had the same reaction toward Qilin Hao but he was the mother of the new king hence no one dared to open their mouths.
This stirred up some dissatisfaction among the people. It was said that Ji Yao was as terrible as Qilin San causing plenty to be worried for their future. Now that they had found out that not only Qilin Hao but also Qilin Kai had been pardoned it fueled their doubts further.
Ji Yao was sitting on the elevated throne his expression serious as he watched the Huishe warriors drag Pixiu Wei into the main hall. Seeing this the clan leader of the Pixiu clan was a little distraught but he kept a straight face while following his daughter's haggard figure with his eyes.
If she only repent then everything would be fine but no matter how hard he tried to speak some sense to her she kept to her bogus story of being the victim despite confessing it with her own mouth when Ji Yao compelled her to speak the truth.
It wasn't only that. She also refused to sever her ties with Huishe Yue which was incredibly puzzling. The clan leader couldn't see through his daughter anymore. He couldn't see her end game and could only watch helplessly as the Huishe clan took her away.
Based on her appearance it seemed her days under the Huishe clan weren't good and hopefully this experience had put things into perspective but he had yet again overestimated her.
