Ji Yao almost rolled his eyes a couple of times as he watched Rui Fei trying to coax him while making the fact that he ran out of their bedroom seem like it wasn't a big deal. 0

Mid crying Huishe Xiyue couldn't stand it so she approached Rui Fei during the boisterous feast and whispered something. Rui Fei who appeared a little depressed just now suddenly perked up like he had been injected with chicken blood.

That's because his mother had given him a way to coax Ji Yao without revealing the surprise. It was at that moment Rui Fei realised he should hang out with the ladies of the Huishe family more often. These awesome women knew how to get a man.

Thus while everyone was being noisy and enjoying the great feast Rui Fei took advantage of the moment Ji Yao walked away to get some fresh air. In large strides, he followed him to the brightly decorated streets of the Huishe clan.

Ji Yao had been strolling along the street his expression slightly contorted like he was lost in deep thought when the cause of all this appeared right beside him.

Unsurprised Ji Yao coldly said, "Since I won't be able to keep my hands to myself you better stay as far away from me as possible."

Rui Fei, "...."

"Okay, I deserved that.... Baby, I want to show you something. Are you willing to come with me?" asked Rui Fei after walking in front of Ji Yao to face him while blocking his path.

Ji Yao who was still holding grudges stepped aside and said, "Nope..... I am absolutely not willing just in case I might not be able to hold myself back."

Okay, Ji Yao was going to shove those words in his face till death do them apart. "I am sorry..... I was wrong. I should have chosen my words carefully," he pled like a prisoner on death row.

"Okay, then how about I give you an opportunity to express what you wanted to say in careful words," said Ji Yao curious to know if he would come up with anything better.

Rui Fei hadn't expected to get this opportunity again thus he couldn't come up with good enough words on the spot. His brain froze for a second like he had sucked on a fresh slushy freezing his neurons.

Ji Yao sneered looking at this frozen popsicle stick. His gaze fell on the chest that was wrapped underneath the fabric. He seriously wished he had x-ray vision like superman so he could see what was underneath that fabric that Rui Fei desperately wanted to protect.

Since he didn't have such a great gift he had to improvise hence while Rui Fei was distracted he took a small step forward and then suddenly rushed ahead in an attempt to grab his lapel.

He actually did manage to get hold of his target but damn that man came prepared. Underneath his clothes were even more layers of fabric shielding against such an event. In other words, Rui Fei came prepared.

Whatever Rui Fei was hiding must have been that bad for him to be wearing layers on a freaking hot summer night. Ji Yao had had it up to here with him and thus he walked away feeling so flustered like he received his first A minus on a test.

Seeing this Rui Fei panicked. How was he supposed to tell him that underneath these layers was a tattoo gone wrong? To fully understand how he got himself to this point one had to go back to the day after the grand fireworks display.

That night Rui Fei was struck by sudden inspiration. He had decided to get a tattoo of Ji Yao's name on his chest. Some would consider this romantic while others, well... not so much. Since he had zero knowledge about the inner works of a tattoo he decided to go to the only person he knew was an expert at these things and that person was Ji Wen.

The man had literally tattooed every member of the Concord including his son with the death character as part of the initiation ceremony. He naively believed Ji Wen would genuinely help him out.

Ji Wen did help him, alright. He helped so much that Rui Fei couldn't even have sex with his lover before the wedding night. He couldn't even walk around shirtless in Ji Yao's presence because what his in-law tattooed on his chest would have him in the cold palace in a heartbeat.

This all happened because Ji Wen was still holding grudges about what happened with the revealing outfit that Rui Fei lied about. Thus he took advantage of this and used that tattoo as the most effective natural birth control a.k.a abstinence which in turn got Rui Fei in trouble.

Ji Wen promised that he would be able to remove it and redraw another one all in one night but that is on the night before the wedding. So what was it that Ji Wen wrote that was so bad? What could be that bad that Rui Fei would tell Ji Yao to keep his hands to himself.

Well..... how do I say this? Ji Wen wrote his name's characters on Rui Fei's left chest as revenge. It was all kinds of messed up but 'messed up' was Ji Wen's middle name.

So now we have this young hot-blooded fine gentleman who is as horny as fuck pushing away his lover all because he doesn't want his beloved to find out that he had his father's name tattooed on his chest.

This was why he had been running away from Ji Yao. His surprise was ruined by his in-law who was the king of pettiness. Since he couldn't tell Ji Yao that Rui Fei could only wait until the wedding night to clear things up.

For now, he decided to take him to a very special place in the Huishe clan his mother referred him to as the most romantic hotspot. Unfortunately for him, he underestimated Ji Yao. The man was so annoyed that he wouldn't be able to let it go.
