Those words made my heart swell. To be honest, the past six months really hadn't been hard work for me at all—maybe because of the solid foundation of my body strengthened by cultivation, I never experienced any discomfort that was typical for commoners, and everything had been going almost too smoothly—but still, Bai Ye never missed an opportunity like this to remind me that he didn't take any of my effort for granted. The corner of his lips curved up against mine. "How does she want to be treasured?" The words slurred a little as his tongue swept into the depth of my mouth. His palm slipped up behind me, giving my bottom a firm squeeze.

Bai Ye had developed a few new habits over the past half a year. It was his turn to groan then. He twitched in my grip, the heat from the touch almost scorching my palm. "Little devil," he grazed his teeth over my neck and whispered. Then he gathered me closer into his embrace. Freeing himself from my goading, he slid effortlessly into me.

I let out a moan of half relief. He always knew how to land perfectly with a single thrust … He was too familiar with my body, too familiar with the precise spots that gave me all the maddening feelings. Just that one dip was enough to make me tremble with sensations, and I clutched his hips from behind me, subconsciously trying to bring us closer by pushing myself harder into him.

He caught my hand, knowing what I wanted to do. Nibbling my earlobe again, he pulled back slightly, keeping our entanglement just deep enough to give me a taste of pleasure without going too far. "The best treasure needs to be savored slowly and thoroughly, my love," he coaxed and folded my arms in front of me, wrapping them within his embrace to keep me in place. Then he resumed that gentle movement, sliding nearly all the way out before inching back in, hitting the perfect target almost too softly, leaving me hanging.

I whimpered in a weak protest. Of course I knew the reason why he was being careful, but the waves of euphoria had already started tumbling inside me, and his measured advances only felt like torture. Every rise and fall of sensations pushed me closer to the edge, before dropping me back to where I was and making me want more. My breaths turned into a staccato of pants. "Bai Ye …" Clutching his hands, I turned my face back toward him, pleading with my eyes.

He let out a small laugh at my begging look. Craning his neck, he kissed me, and his hand grazed down my body once more, running over the curve of my breasts, my belly, before landing between my thighs and gently rubbing over that most sensitive bud.

Everything building up within me finally found its release. A tide of pleasure washed over my core, and I moaned hard into his mouth, coming undone. My head fell back just as he stilled inside me with a final thrust.
