He couldn't believe he was doing this. The impossible scene that haunted him all week was now unfolding right before him, and the girl that he couldn't keep out of his mind was now in his arms, her soft sighs echoing against his ears. He hoped this wasn't a dream. Straining all his senses, he traced her smell, her taste, her voice, her touch, locking all of it into his memory so that he could have something to hold onto when he woke up.

But it must not have been a dream, because the girl beneath him was chuckling. "And I've always been trying to tell you you're pretty." She was talking to him.

He laughed softly at the memory, though his kisses didn't slow. He left his marks further down her chest, along her valleys and peaks, and when he reached the pink bud on top, he suckled it into his mouth.

"B-Bai Ye …" She drew in a sharp breath, her sigh turning into a moan. Her body tightened, and her fingers slid into his hair, pressing him closer.

Fire roared even higher. Bai Ye had never heard her say his name, and he never knew how intimate it could sound from her lips. He groaned again, and he flicked his tongue across her tip, eliciting another whimper from her.

"Bai Ye …" Every word she uttered was a spell that sent a pulse of heat spiraling through him. Then, when her other hand found its way through the loosened collar of his robe, exploring him at the same time he savored her, Bai Ye thought he was so scorched that he might lose it.
