Bai Ye didn't really know why he wanted to kiss her like that. He just wanted to. He wanted to worship every inch of her with his lips, to etch the feel of every part of her into his mind. And from the sound of her … she seemed to like it.2

So he swirled his tongue a little, mimicking the earlier motion when he chased her inside her mouth. She tasted different here. Richer, bolder, and with every movement of his tongue, she was becoming even juicier.

She whimpered as he continued to savor her delicacy, her grip tightening in his hair. "Bai Ye …" she breathed. "W-What are you doing? I …"

Her voice had taken on a different timber by now, the barely suppressed pleasure making it more bewitching than the most seductive spell. Thrilled at her reaction, Bai Ye answered the question without words. He kissed her harder, pushing a little further and delving deeper into her soft flesh.

She moaned again, that luring sound telling him precisely what he needed to know. He followed her cues, using those moans to guide himself to her most sensitive spots, drawing small and gentle circles around them. He felt tremors start to pulse through her. He felt a light sheen starting to coat her silky skin. He felt her back starting to arch off the bed …

He kept kissing her, drinking her in. She was so delicious, so captivating that Bai Ye thought he could do this forever, reveling in the mesmerizing sensation of her forever. But then her fingers clenched within his hair. The taste of her suddenly overwhelmed him, and she tensed under his tongue, her whole body trembling.

"Bai Ye …" A half whimper, half cry broke out of her, that rapturous undertone drowning him in a wave of euphoria that almost made himself come undone.

He had to stop, taking a moment to cool off his boiling blood. Then he licked her clean, and he trailed his kisses upward along her stomach till he landed over her neck once more. "How does that feel?" he repeated her earlier words to her.

She laughed, her breath still unsteady. "Do all husbands do this to their wives?" she asked instead.

Bai Ye was taken aback by the question. Then he chuckled a bit self-consciously. "I … don't know," he said with all honesty. It wasn't like anyone had taught him how to do things … the proper way.

The girl beneath him met his gaze and smiled, her eyes a bright twinkle like the midnight stars. "Then … what can I do for you in return?" she asked. "Will you show me?" Her hands slid back to his waist, sliding off the rest of his loosened clothes.

Bai Ye thought he was going to burst into flames when her fingers casually brushed over his bare skin. Somehow, this little devil was always able to do the most seductive things in the most innocent way, rendering him completely defenseless in the process. He really couldn't endure this anymore. He didn't even dare look down at himself and witness that blatant proof of his desire.

So he kept his eyes on her while he shifted his weight, looming just above her and resting himself against her entrance. "If you're still sure about this …" he breathed. "This would be how we start."

She nodded, with no hesitation whatsoever. Bai Ye couldn't help but feel overwhelmingly honored by her trust in him. "I heard this might hurt at first," he added. "I don't know if … if there is anything I can do to make it easier for you …"

The girl only chuckled at his words. "Sword spirits aren't that fragile. It's not like you haven't accidentally hurt me in practices before."

He raised an eyebrow. How was that even comparable or related at all? He opened his mouth to argue, but before any words came out, she had captured his lips, pulling him into another deep kiss.

A low groan drifted out of him, and he felt the final thread of his self control snap. Without thinking twice, he gave in to his instincts, and he thrust into her.

Her body tensed for a moment. A tiny hiss escaped her where their lips met. Alarmed by her reaction, Bai Ye broke their kiss hastily. "Are you alright?" he asked.

There was a slight hint of wince on her face, but only for a fraction of a second. "I told you I'm not fragile," she protested. "Don't stop."

He stared at her, bewitched once again by how much more there was to this girl than he realized before. Then he obliged, and he pressed his lips back onto hers.

At that moment, he had to admit that he finally understood why some people could become so addicted to … this. Feeling her warmth encasing him below, shielding him while the tenderness of her lips and tongue caressing him from above … was such a surreal experience unlike anything he could've imagined before. It entranced him, enraptured him. It consumed him. He wanted more … He wanted to be even closer to her, and he wished they could stay that way without ever coming apart.

He tightened his arms around her, holding her close. The small sighs against his lips told him that her pain had subsided, so he let himself reach further, bringing them closer and closer together with each thrust. He sought her tongue, leading her in a dance that matched the rhythm of his motion below, and he let that sensation within him take control, driving them towards where they both wanted to be.

Her soft sighs soon turned into whimpers and moans. The fire in his own body built up just as quickly, roaring higher and higher as their entanglements deepened, and when she wrapped her legs around him, he felt elated beyond words. He thought he was drifting into paradise … until suddenly, he reached a breaking point. He couldn't bite back a hard groan as a pulse of ecstasy tore through him, and he came to an abrupt stop deep inside her, just as the gush of his heat sent her over the top once more.

They both stilled, and their ragged breaths filled the otherwise silent evening.
