An Abrupt Entry
"The man was found dead in his containment unit a couple of hours ago, a slit throat indicating an act of suicide."
I got a call early this morning from Nicole to drop by the base, which seemed highly unusual. Not to mention, when I woke up, it was extremely difficult leaving the naked woman in my bed.
A slap on the ass caused Esther to stir awake and I let her know that David would probably be up soon so it was best to leave and act as if you simply decided to work around the house a little earlier today.
Currently, I was standing next to Jada while Nicole gave us the rundown on what happened. I leaned forward, inspecting the bedsheets which had bloodstains on them. An improvised knife with trace amounts of DNA laid on the floor next to it all, obviously belonging to the now deceased criminal.
"Why did he do it?" I muttered.
Jada interjected before a reply could even slip out of Nicole's mouth. "It might've been the drug he took. Something that drastically changes your body like that had to have some kind of side-effects."
Nicole smiled, proud of her accurate conclusion. "Correct. The name of the drug, Warp, actually has a deeper meaning to it. When someone is taken off the drug or eventually runs out, they will go through a continuous withdrawal period until their body has a second hit."
I grimaced. That had to really suck.
"Essentially, they will feel physical pain even though nothing is hurting them, due to the fact that their body has already become addicted to the drug since the first time it was taken. Not only that, but they will hallucinate and not sleep for days. The drug warps the user's mind, taking them down an inevitable path of self-destruction."
Nicole began to walk towards the door, leaving the otherwise silent room. "Before the man died however, we were able to get some details out of him. He gave us a location of the club it came from."
My eyes widened in surprise before I quickly scrambled after the woman. "That's great news! What does Elena plan on doing with this information?"
"You, Darren, and Jada are going to the club with the intent of capturing their leader."
I began to nod but stopped mid-way through. "Won't this club be full of people? Someone's going to be dumb enough to pull out their phone and film the entire thing instead of leaving for safety."
"It doesn't matter if it's caught on film or not, considering that everyone will know about Salvation in a few hours anyway."
Okay, I'm not sure I heard that right-
"Elena has been thinking about this for a long time. Salvation has hid in the shadows for years, accomplishing missions and everything else under everyone's noses. However, she feels like now is the time for this organization to step up and let everyone know of it's purpose."
"To protect." She smiled over her shoulder at me, seeming happy at the new approach that was being taken.
Holy shit.
--------------------------------------------------
I was back in my temporary living quarters that was given to me, contemplating the way people might react to our presence when we went on this mission.
That was when a familiar voice disrupted the silence in the room.
'We need to talk, Dante.'
I was wondering when he'd return.
'Okay, give me a second.' Closing my eyes, I focused on the desolate place, vividly remembering the strong connection it had with me the last time.
Right after that, I felt a pull on my mind.
--------------------------------------------------
"So, what's up?"
The Pyronite floated in front of me, his arms crossed. "Before the mission, I want to tell you a bit more about your unique abilities."
That caught my attention. I was definitely eager to know more since it seemed to be different than what I thought it truly was.
"Okay, hit me with it."
He nodded, intending to do just that. "Your true body is not just a superhuman body that allows you to do things most humans can't. That's simply a bonus."
From the transformation my body underwent during the last real fight I had, I knew he was telling the truth. "Dante, your body holds the potential to transform into millions of different alien species. I am the first one that has been unlocked as of yet, however, you'll be able to access two more by the end of this conversation."
My eyes widened at that, but I didn't dare stop him from telling me more.
"You possess the power of the Omnitrix." He said, waving his arm to the side, which caused a holographic image of an odd looking watch-like device to materialize. "This is the source of your superhuman capabilities. The Omnitrix enhances your transformations, causing them to surpass the rest of their species in virtually every way. Weirdly enough, it seems to have applied to you as well."
(The picture of the Omnitrice's appearance will be here.)
"This device is a portable library of intergalactic data that allows the wielder to alter their DNA at will and transform into a variety of different alien species, each with their own unique abilities."
The watch suddenly appeared on my left wrist, shocking me for a moment. "You have the ability to summon it on your arm as well, although it's not necessary. I suppose you can use it to trick your opponents into thinking you rely on it for your power. It's your choice."
... That was actually a clever idea.
The flaming alien paused for a moment, thinking of anything else to say.
"Ah, one more thing. You can make the decision on whether or not the symbol of the Omnitrix appears on your transformations. It could serve as an emblem for your superhero identity if that's what you want."
Nodding, I thought about the watch disappearing, and it blinked out of existence right after.
"Thank you for telling me all of this. It's a lot of information to digest but I'm still glad to know more about myself."
He laughed, waving it away, and pointed behind me instead. "These are the two that you have access to now. Make sure to use them in future battles."
Excitedly, my body whirled around to take a look at them.
I was not disappointed.
--------------------------------------------------
Club Ecstasy was a lot bigger than it looked.
Music was playing throughout the entire building, drowning out the outside world, as people socialized and danced among one another.
Pushing my way through a mass of party animals who looked fucked up beyond belief, I casually walked towards the second floor where the VIP lounge was located, and threw the cloak that I was wearing onto the ground.
"That suit looks so good on you, handsome!~" Jada flirted through her earpiece. She stood nearby, her eyes full of mischief as they raked over my body. I glanced behind me, making sure to look her up and down, which got a happy smile out of the woman.
(The picture of the suit's appearance will be here.)
As I began to walk up the stairs, pulling my mask over my face, one of the bodyguards at the top noticed me. His eyes glowed a yellow color when they landed on the dual pistols in my hands.
The man pulled out a handheld push button switch before pressing down on it, most likely triggering some type of alarm.

~Darren's POV~
On the outside of the club, I waltzed up to the entrance as if I was at a hotdog stand.
Casually drawing power from the surrounding darkness, I created my preferred creature, which let out a terrifying roar. The volume of the bellow was even louder than the music, causing everyone to freeze in their dancing to turn towards the monster looking at them.
That also applied to the people walking the streets or driving, which nearly caused a few collisions, pure fear and shock overwhelming any other emotions they were feeling right now.
Some of them grabbed their phones and called the police, practically begging for someone to come down and kill the entity. It was pretty funny to witness, and the thing that made it funnier was the fact that Salvation had quite a few people in law enforcement.
It was around the afternoon, and the sun was beginning to set, which created a beautiful scene if one were to look at it. However, what they saw instead was the complete opposite.
Frightened screams and shouts resounded throughout the building as the creature walked in. My intention was to use intimidation in order for the civilians to leave, which seemed to be gradually working. The people were clinging to the sides and going around the monster, dashing for the door when it didn't appear to be focusing on them.1
I could only imagine what the people on drugs were seeing as they ran away.
Once it looked like everyone had left, the monster dissipated and I began to sink into a shadow on the sidewalk.
"Well, that was easy." I muttered to myself before my head went under.
--------------------------------------------------
A couple minutes earlier.
Five different individuals sat in the VIP lounge, a sense of relaxation yet underlying instability filling the room with it's strong aroma.
The first person was a tall and well-built man, a noticeable scar going down across the left side of his chiseled face while black hair covered the top of his head. He had dark eyes and a small amount of facial hair as well but it wasn't much. The man's name was Zowick Patch, 34 years old.
(The picture of his appearance will be here.)
The second person was another tall and well-built man, natural white hair instead of black, along with ear piercings and yellow eyes that gave him a bad boy look. A cigarette was in between two of his fingers as he combed his other hand through white locks. The man's name was Isamaki Ryokazu, 27 years old.
(The picture of his appearance will be here.)
The third person was the last male, an older gentleman with a heavily scarred face and brown eyes. He also had white hair but that was more because of his old age. Much more facial hair covered him compared to the other two men, a full beard which caused his appearance to look even older. The man's name was Cyrus Inkwell, 68 years old.
(The picture of his appearance will be here.)
The fourth person was a shapely woman who possessed black hair that went down to her lower back, along with bright red eyes. Most people would mistake them for contacts but this was in fact her real eye color. She also had an odd-looking tattoo on her chest above her prominent breasts. The woman's name was Lena Zaell, 30 years old.
(The picture of her appearance will be here.)
The fifth and last person was a woman who had similar features to Isamaki Ryokazu, natural white hair and yellow eyes being the most evident. She had golden hoop earrings, unique-looking glasses resting on the bridge of her nose, and a metal claw on every finger. Not to mention, there was some kind of metal collar wrapped around her throat that had spikes pointed down to her cleavage. The woman's name was Tamaya Ryokazu, 26 years old.
(The picture of her appearance will be here.)
Among the five of them, Lena was the one who owned the club. She started the establishment around nine years ago because she wanted to live her own life after being kicked out of the house at a young age.
Ever since then, she's always had to depend on herself to get things done, which led to her being manipulative and street-smart. Due to being alone for so long, Lena yearns to have someone who can occasionally be there for her to lean on when things become too stressful.
She sat in an expensive chair with a bottle of wine in her hand, spectating the people having fun downstairs through a large section of one-way glass.
Unfortunately, someone had to disrupt her tranquility, and she knew exactly who it was.
Isamaki Ryokazu. Ugh.
"Hey, Lena! How about a dance, eh?!" The boy yelled over the music as if he wasn't sitting right next to her. This was his third time asking her for a dance, which would end in another refusal, but that wouldn't stop him.
There were some people that just couldn't take no for an answer. It was annoying as hell.
"No, Isamaki. I do not wish to dance with you." She breathed, exasperated.
The woman nearly threw her glass at him when he breathed out a cloud of smoke from his cigarette, which caused her face to scrunch up for a moment.
Luckily, even though it appeared to be an emergency, something was able to get her away from his insufferable presence. Pulling a small device from out of her cleavage, it blinked a red color, which could only mean one thing.
That was when a monstrous scream rang out, shocking everyone in the room.
Dropping her glass of wine to the floor, she ran towards the one-way glass and spotted them immediately. The others within the room became alarmed as well, which also made them stand up and move towards the glass.
On the second floor near the stairs, one of the bodyguards began to move towards a man who just seemed dangerous when her eyes first landed on him. The unknown man lifted both of his pistols and shot the bodyguards knees out, causing him to cry out in agony as he lost his balance.
On the far side of the room, Zowick hummed to himself, intently watching the shooter's movements. "He could've gone for the head but didn't... not aiming to kill. However, a bullet to the knee will definitely incapacitate someone. At least, if they were a normal human being. All of Lena's guards are enhanced with a better version of the Warp drug."
Tamaya, who was standing next to Zowick, had a completely different thought process. "I don't who the man is, but he fits that suit of his really well..." She muttered, licking her lips hungrily.
In the middle of all that, Cyrus watched the scene play out, a stoic mask covering his face. However, there was an interested gleam in his eye as he looked at the mysterious figure.
