43: A New Ride

A New Ride

Drying my hair off with a towel, I threw it in a bin as I left the bathroom with the same clothes that I had been wearing the night before. It was early in the morning and Rei had gone downstairs to take a shower first, followed by me once she eventually came out.0

By the time I went down to take my own shower, everyone had been clearly exhausted with the way they were all sprawled out and asleep within their own chosen spots. However, as I walked towards the kitchen for a drink, I noticed two people that had apparently woken up.

Still wearing an apron with nothing but a black thong to cover the most important parts, her long purple hair gave it away almost immediately. Saeko was leaning up against the kitchen counter as she quietly conversed with my cute little sister.

Turning her head, Saya waved me over as she handed me a glass of water. I didn't even question it as the glass of water was quickly downed in just a few gulps.

"Good morning. Did you two sleep well at all?"

My question was met with blank stares before they turned into sly grins, both girls seemingly peering into my soul as they gave me a once-over... I knew what that meant.

It seems that Rei might've been a little too loud when we were fucking last night. Oh well.

"Hmm... I bet you did. Isn't that right?" Saya interrogated, which was followed up with a suppressed giggle from Saeko, who had used a hand to cover her mouth.

Without any shame, I nodded with a smirk on my face, bravely meeting the pink haired spitfire head on as we stared at one another. "Most definitely."

Rolling her eyes, she turned back towards Saeko as we ended our little staring match. I walked towards the kitchen sink and lowered the now empty glass into it before returning and finding a random seat at the counter.

"Anyways... the two of us were talking about our plans for the future. We can't just stay here for the entire time, after all." Saya explained, huffing out a breath of air in frustration.

Saeko interjected as she motioned towards the refrigerator, both blue eyes narrowed in thought. "Plus, there isn't much food left either. This may be a nice and quiet neighborhood but there's a bunch of reasons why it's just simply too inconvenient for all of us to continue living here."

A hand raised in a joking manner, I decided to ask the obvious question. "Okay. What have the both of you come up with then in terms of relocating?"

"Our home would be the best as of right now, Dante." Saya took the reigns of the conversation at this point. "There's a lot more resources, defensive countermeasures, and better living conditions at the Takagi Estate. Unless you've already came up with a different course of action..." She trailed off with a questioning tone in her voice.

I smiled at my little sister, chuckling as I shook my head in the negative. "Actually, it seems like we're all on the same track here because that's what I was thinking as well. Good job. I'm proud of you, Saya." Patting her on the head, she seemed to love the extra attention that was being given.

Obviously not forgetting about Saeko, I did the same to her, and she apparently loved it just as much. Walking away from the both of them, I began my trek back upstairs for my longbow. "Wake up the rest and let all of them know about what we're going to be doing next. I'm going to be outside by the time you're done talking with the others."

Stepping outside of the house, I walked down the steps and into the driveway, which is where my eyes landed on the garage in the back. Making my way over, I crouched down and pulled the garage door up until it revealed what I had been hoping for all of this time.

The group's new mode of transportation, which was thankfully also better than the black SUV.

Sitting in the garage was a Humvee M1025 that appeared to be in a pretty good condition, most likely taken care of by Rika on occasion.

With an excited smile, I began curiously looking through the vehicle, hoping to at least find something of use. That was when I noticed a strange object sticking out under a stack of unimportant papers, which caught my interest as soon as my eyes landed on it.

Grabbing onto the handle, I pulled it out and was delighted to realize that the strange object turned out to be in fact a knife, or more specifically a Kukri. I could immediately tell just from the shape even though the actual blade was still hidden inside of a durable leather sheath.

After tucking it away inside of the ring's dimension until further notice, I found the keys which belonged to the Humvee and decided to start it up.

Slowly driving our replacement vehicle out of the garage and up to the front of the driveway, I watched as everyone began making their way out of Rika's home, some of them displaying obvious signs of just waking up or happy expressions as they realized that we now had some better wheels.

It was still relatively early in the morning so we had plenty of time to cover a good amount of distance. Plus, it's actually been a really quiet morning, which I was hoping would stay that way for the most part.

As everyone started to enter the Humvee, Shizuka came up to my door and gave me a questioning look. "I thought I was the driver for our cute little group?~" She asked, tilting her head in a confused manner. Her large breasts followed it up with a small bounce.

"We were all put under a lot of stress yesterday, including you. You deserve a bit of a break so just rest in the back. I'll take care of the rest."

Putting a hand on her cheek, she cooed at me with a sly grin. "Oh my!~ Such a thoughtful young man!~ Hmm... very well. Thank you for your kindness, handsome!~"

Walking towards the back, I noticed Rei pop out of nowhere with a subtle limp to her step, and it brought a playful smirk to my face that she obviously noticed. A red tint covered her face as she gave me a kiss before hurriedly jumping into the back as well.

Once everyone had finally settled into their chosen seats, I exited the driveway completely and began driving all of us down the empty neighborhood street.
