Reuniting With Yuriko

I was still dealing with my group being happy to see me in good condition even after I had already jumped into the Humvee and Shizuka put it in reverse, creating a bit of distance before practically stomping onto the accelerator.2

It only took a couple seconds before the ramp made out of zombies was upon us, each undead corpse obediently filling the role that they had been given. Going over it made for a pretty unsteady ride, but the pile of undead seemingly held strong, packed full of enough zombies that it was still somehow capable of not caving in from the weight of a vehicle like this.

The Humvee landed on the other side of the wire gate without much of a problem, which is when I told Shizuka to press on the brakes. "Kohta, would you like to do the honors?" I asked, giving him a crooked smile at the end.

Unsurprisingly, the big guy accepted it with an excited grin etched onto his face.

Exiting the Humvee, Kohta walked back over to the wire gate and proceeded to kill all of them as they laid on the ground, continuing to do as they were ordered without even flinching as the bullets rang out into the air.

As that went on behind us, Saya quietly sat next to me, gently outlining a heart on the back of my right hand with her thumb. She had pulled it into her lap and made sure it stayed there by leaning onto me, her chin resting against my shoulder.

"Are you okay, big bro? I saw what happened to you..." Saya whispered, quickly getting emotional as she thought about earlier.

Ugh. Honestly, I was beginning to notice how much having a sibling was affecting me whenever they got emotional over something. I never had any kind of sibling beforehand so... it was difficult seeing her like this.

"Hey, listen to me. I don't know what all happened back there... but it obviously wasn't enough to put me down, which means there's no need to worry. Got it? Nothing's going to stop me from coming back to you." I murmured, staring down into her eyes with complete seriousness.

Saya's eyes began to water again, but she didn't look away or anything, instead tightly grabbing ahold of my hand and squeezing it. I quickly returned the gesture in order to hopefully provide a bit more comfort to her. "... Do you promise?"

Giving my pink haired little sister a confident smirk, I swooped down and placed a quick kiss on her lips before letting out a chuckle. "Of course, I promise... you big crybaby."

That was when her cheeks took on a rosy pink tint before they puffed up in irritation, one of her hands rapidly slapping against my arm as revenge.

"I'm not a crybaby!"

The Takagi Estate, or more specifically my home, has been turned into the living grounds for people who have nowhere else to go. I hadn't even gone in yet and I was able to find enough information just by looking through one of the windows in the Humvee as we were held up at the entrance gate to realize that was the case.

Honestly, I had already sort of expected for something like this to occur, but what I didn't expect was the amount of people already filling this place up at just the beginning of the outbreak.

While the Takagi Estate might've been pretty large, we would probably need to start cutting down some trees if more of them kept coming in order to make a bigger area for living space.

"Hey, Richie! It's me, Dante. You know... Yuriko's son? Let us in already! Saya is even here with us!" I sighed, trying to hurry up the tedious process of making sure whoever went in and out was who they actually said they were.

"Oh! Y-You got it, sir. I apologize, ma'am. Sorry for the inconvenience..." The man trailed off, appearing nervous about making any sort of mistake around the two of us. I didn't really pay it any mind after that, due to the fact that we were quickly told to go through without much delay once our identities were confirmed.

That obviously meant that they also informed Yuriko about our arrival over the radio. I bet she's already going to be waiting for us by the time we get up to the mansion.

"Saya! Dante! Oh, I'm so glad that you two made it back home safely!" Yuriko cheered with joy, somehow running down the steps in a pair of expensive heels. After she gave her pink haired daughter a tight hug, the sexy milf jumped onto me with a barely restrained hunger, wrapping her arms around my torso as she sent me one of the most lust-filled eye stares ever within the time that I've been in a relationship with her.

I could immediately tell that Yuriko was having a lot of trouble with not letting loose, due to the fact that there was so many people standing around, happily watching our cute little reunion. However, it would have to wait for a bit longer, considering she had to show everyone else their assigned bedrooms. Lord knows that there's plenty of rooms to choose from within that big ass house.

While all of that is happening, I'm going to be taking a shower. Honestly, I really need one after what happened earlier.

Breathing out a sigh of relief as warm water runs down the muscles on my body, I keenly noticed that after reverting back to normal from my Necrojek transformation, all of my wounds had somehow been completely healed. It was as if they had never even been there in the first place, which was a pretty cool feature to have in all honesty.

Now that I've returned home with a group of people that I know got my back, I felt a bit more relaxed now. Plus, this mansion would provide more opportunities to spend time with my girls, which was a great bonus.
