The people walking on the streets would've marveled at the sight if it weren't for the tall buildings blocking the important detail. All they could see was the sky had turning dark, indicating that it was time for the moon to rouse.

Nevertheless, it didn't diminished the picturesque scenery for Lillie. White Phoenix Empire was the one of the tallest building in the city, and her office was situated at this particular location on purpose for her to watch the twilight transpire.

"Ah, it's this late already?" Andrea Houston glanced at her wrist watch, and was surprised on how the time passed so quickly. She didn't even realized that the workload on her desk were gone.

"Impressive, Miss Houston." The strawberry blonde haired woman almost jumped out of her seat when she heard Lillie Bai's speak behind her, holding one of her finish output of her tasks.

No wonder her surrounding was dead quiet. Her co-workers were probably turned into stone when they saw the boss walking in their office.

"Miss Houston's skills are a great benefit to the company, you did an outstanding job." Tears nearly poured out of her eyes.

Andrea was so happy that her heart was ready to burst like a confetti. "I'm simply doing my best for the benefit of the company, CEO Bai."

Then, that reunion at Bai Chateau happened.

Everything finally made sense. She found out the reason why she, and many others from Sky Emperor University, was not accepted in White Phoenix Empire.

Lillie Bai was their Student Council President all along, and she didn't want anyone to find out yet.

Also, it was her who realized her identity first when CEO Bai gave her a hint! How lucky!

Lillie hummed. "I'm dropping by to inform you that I'm about to leave. Also, I would like to ask you a favor."

"What is it, miss?" CEO Bai is asking her for a favor? What an honor!

"Would you mind accompanying me to the lobby for coffee first?" She then added, "Seeing as you're not busy at the moment."

Andrea could die happily.

"Miss Houston?" Lillie's voice summoned Andrea's soul back to her body.

"Of course not, miss. I'll gladly join you for coffee." Wow, she didn't stutter. Andrea mentally patted herself in the back.

When Lillie and Andrea's figures disappeared from the staff office, it was as if the curse of being turned into stone was lifted.

Andrea Houston just started working in the company for a few days and already, CEO Bai seemed to be fond of her. Envy was not a stranger at this situation, but these people knew better than to mess with her, or anyone for that matter.

They didn't want to end up like Duan Qiqi, no thank you.
