But make no mistake, whichever side you chose the others will do everything they can to destroy you, me included. Once you have met all the others ask this question again and perhaps the answer will be a little different."

Hao Xuan could do nothing but be satisfied with her explanation for now.

"Next time then, it won't be long. Next question, can I- Or, is there a way to keep my physique? I know Meng did something that won't allow me to take that final step and ascend to the next Physique Realm. He wants me to give it to another guy but is it possible to keep it for myself and completely unlock its abilities?"

Perhaps for the first time Hao Xuan saw the old woman look at him with such a grim expression.

"There is only one way. Accept your fate and become the Son of Chaos. By doing so you will have one of the tools required to make it your own."

"Son of Chaos? What is that?"

"It is but a moniker for the one who is most loved by the chaos. It can be you but the journey will not be easy..."

She explained a few general things that gave Hao Xuan a good enough idea about exactly what it was. He listened intently and when she was done he reiterated everything one by one.

"So 'Son of Chaos' is a title that is given to someone who is able to subjugate and control all of Chaos at will without any drawbacks. I have been forced onto its path but if I want to reach the end and become the one you are talking about then I will have to do it myself and unlock the full potential of the Primordial Spark."

The old woman was trying her best not to let her real emotions show as she nodded in agreement.

"You are correct. By becoming the Son of Chaos your powers will grow beyond anything that someone from your generation can conjure. No one will be your equal."

It sounded like a pretty good deal to him, especially if it was without any significant disadvantages.

"And I can even take control of the physique by using them?"

"You can fight the physique demon by using your newly acquired powers, yes. And once the demon is absorbed you will have made the physique yours...forever," she hesitated for a moment wanting to say something which Hao Xuan picked up quickly.

"What is it?"

"...The Immortal Devouring Physique is not a gift. It is a curse cast upon those that have wronged the Rulers of Hell. It was stolen by your 'Meng' a long time ago and has not been used ever since. It is best that you return it or get rid of it, I will help you do so. Using its powers will leave you open to demonic corruption that comes with all similar powers."

If Hao Xuan didn't know any better he would have said she was genuinely concerned for his well-being. Or maybe it was something else, like it could get in her way somehow.

"Yeah, I will keep that in mind. But what exactly do I have to do to unlock the Spark's full potential?"

"It is both easy and difficult at the same time. The Primordial Spark is also called the Spark of Creation. To be able to use all of its powers you will first need to obtain the first four elements that were created as a result of its birth."

"Really? Is that it?" Hao Xuan was delighted upon hearing the very simple requirements, "So what, I just get some fire, water, and shit right? Do I drink them?"

For a second the old woman questioned everything she had done so far seeing as how quickly he accepted that basic elements would do.

'Should the son of chaos be really this thick? But it could be better in the long term, easier to control him.'

And when she began listing everything Hao Xuan's face froze.

"The 'First Flame of Torment' can be found within the deepest torture pits located in the Ninth Circle of Hell."

"The 'Black Water of Enervation' is found at the deepest point of the river Styx which runs through the Abyss, the Underworld, and the Nine Hells."

"The feather of an angel that was shaped from the First Light of Heaven. It has to be knowingly given and cannot be forcefully taken."

"And finally, the fruit of the World Tree. Once you have gathered all of them you will undergo the final ritual in the place where the first Chaos Lord was born."
