2What the Queen needed right now were copious amounts of resources. Hundreds of thousands of tons of resources that she could use not only to strengthen herself but also to start producing other formachian warriors and lay a base for the future colony. 3

The only issue was, these 'resources' as she so eloquently put it, were other living beings. She needed bodies, corpses or living creatures and a great many of them. This little hurdle wasn't going to be easy and wouldn't be overcome anytime soon but with a few extra pairs of hands he could get a good start on it.

And because of that she had graciously agreed or rather, 'allowed' Hao Xuan to sever the Prince as well.

He looked towards the prince's stick figure blocking his path for confirmation, "You heard what she said?"

He nodded.

"Alright, don't resist."

Hao Xuan placed his hand over the Prince's head and uttered the word "Sever!"

A barely discernable pale white light covered the prince for not even half a second before receding back into Hao Xuan's body.

"That was....easy."

The prince hadn't put up any resistance whatsoever due to the Queen's orders which allowed him to be severed with extreme ease. Hao Xuan could finally feel their soul connection and all the hostility the Prince had towards him disappeared in an instant.

Now both Hao Xuan and the Queen were on the same level in the Prince's eyes. His every physical instinct belonged to the Queen for her protection while his mind belonged to Hao Xuan.

This greatly relieved Hao Xuan since before she could have easily used the Prince to kill him if she wanted. But now her strongest warrior was also working for him and even if he couldn't take Hao Xuan's side when things turned sour between him and the queen, at least he couldn't harm him either.

The Orc Warders could also feel the connection being established between Hao Xuan and the Prince which made them finally back off.

Hao Xuan smiled towards them, "You are coming with me for now. As for you," he turned towards the Prince, "I will call for you when I need your help."

The prince gave another silent nod and returned to his post next to the egg, prompting an inquisitive look from Hao Xuan.

"I still don't know what that egg is. It has been years since I picked it up in that frozen hellhole but all it has done is drink my blood. When will you hatch little eggy?"

But now wasn't the time.

Hao Xuan returned to the outside world and just to be sure he checked his hand again which still held the wheat grains.

"Hahaha, now this is what I'm talking about!" he burst out laughing which garnered a side-eye from Haeti who was about to reprimand him but upon seeing the four ghostly Orc figures materialize beside him he backed up and drew his tiny sword before pointing it towards them.

"W-What are those?! You human witch boy, did you summon the souls of your ancestors to fight the great me?! Hmph, no wonder you were so confident, so this was the reason! Fine, Come at me! I'll take care of all of you alone! Run my lady while I hold them back!"

Hao Xuan's mouth almost fell open listening to him.

'This fucker went through an entire anime arc in 3 sentences.'

"Relax, they aren't here to fight you," he told the shaking Haeti and looked towards Princess Ceni who was looking towards him with a raised eyebrow.

"They are my summons. I'm a....summoner."

"....I didn't ask," she turned away to show her lack of interest which once again left Hao Xuan a little confused.

Still, he directed his attention towards the matter at hand.

"Baracus!"

He told Baracus about the hive queen, her internal space, the egg, and finally her ability to create matter from nothing. He was quite pleasantly surprised upon finding this information.

'It is as I suspected then,' Baracus remarked.

'Wait, so you know about this?'

'I did not know per se, it was but one of many unproven theories about their species. To date, no has ever come across a newborn hive queen and one of the Progenitor's potential theories suggested that it was because they were locked away in another space or subdimension until they were strong enough to venture out.'

'But the ability to create matter from nothing is a surprise. Only a handful of species is innately born with the power of creation but they each have their own limits. I am quite curious as to where the Hive Queen's lie.'

'And one more thing, since the egg has a subdimension of its own especially one capable of holding a hive queen, it is either a Class S entity or above, or one of the ancient unclassified ones. That would also explain why it has not hatched yet.'
