Chapter 33 - Extreme North

John after petting them one by one, turned around and looked at Zhu Zhuqing and Sia "These six creatures were actually called Pokemons and they could only be found in the pokemon world. These big three pokemons were known as the Three Legendary Beasts namely Raikou, Suicune, and Entei. They were electric, water, and fire type legendary Pokemon respectively. On the other hand, these three cute little ones were called Eevee, they were a normal-type pokemon however they were special in some way as they were known for being the pokemon with the highest number of evolution possibilities, due to its unstable genetic makeup."

"What are Pokemons? Are they spirit beasts too?" Zhu Zhuqing curiously asked while looking at the six Pokemons.

John laughed and then explained the general idea of Pokemons.

After a while, Zhu Zhuqing then asked "Is there such a world?"

"Yes, there are worlds which are very interesting." John answered while smiling.

The pokemons just listened to them while still pushing their heads towards John.

Sia after hearing John, walked towards the Eevees.

The Eevees looked at Sia and sniffed her. The Eevees then smelt John scent in her. They then went to Sia and rubbed their heads too.

John smiled after seeing that the pokemons where very friendly.

"Master, they were so cute. Can I raised one of them?" Sia asked while stroking the heads of the Eevees.

"Yes, you can." John answered while smiling.

After hearing John, Sia immediately picked one and hugged it. Zhu Zhuqing also went and picked one for herself, she also wanted to raised such cute Pokemons.

The last Eevee were sad after being left alone. It then run towards John while having a crying expression.

John picked the Eevee while laughing "Don't worry, you can also meet someone in the future."

Eevee understood what John said. It then became happy and snuggled in John's arms.

John looked towards the three legendary Pokemons. After seeing that John looked at them, Entei, Suicune, and Raikou then became excited.

"I will train you three and make you strong" John decided to keep the three legendary Pokemons and trained them himself.

After hearing John, Entei, Suicune, and Raikou were very happy and suddenly emit some of their powers which causes Zhu Zhuqing and Sia to be shocked.

'System, buy me three pokeballs.' John ordered the system.

[Three pokeballs have been bought.]

John then summoned the pokeball and gave Zhu Zhuqing and Sia each.

"John, what is this round ball?" Zhu Zhuqing asked while looking the pokeball.

"This thing is called Pokeball. It is an item used to catch and contain a pokemon." John answered. He then looked at the Eevee in his arms. The Eevee immediately pushed the button and then was absorbed inside.

After a while John then throw the pokeball which the Eevee showed up afterwards.

Zhu Zhuqing and Sia were surprised after seeing Eevee dissappeared and and appeared again. They then grabbed the pokeball and copy John.

After a while, Zhu Zhuqing and Sia now understood the concept behind the pokeballs.

"Though, having them in pokeballs were convinient, I still want to you summon them outside." John said. Though they were now in a pokeball, John could summon them directly because they were originally his.

Upon hearing, Zhu Zhuqing and Sia nodded.

John looked at the Three Legendary Beast again before deciding that he won't place them in a pokeball.

John and the others then enjoyed that day together with the Pokemons. John also told them the skillset of the Eeves and their evolutions. However, Zhu Zhuqing and Sia did not decide which evolution they take and just decide later.

John already scanned the six Pokemons which surprised him as they were all level 1 but he then accepted when he remembered that all he could summon were created new.

Early the next morning, John and the other continue their journey.

---5 years later---

Douluo Continent,

Five years had passed after John discovered the infiltration of the Spirit Hall in Heaven Dou Empire.

Many things had happened during these five years.

Major wars took place everywhere and constant attacked of the Spirit Hall which resulted in the two empires namely, Heaven Dou Empire and Star Lou Empire to combined forces to counteracttack but due to how strong the Spirit Hall was, the wars results in a stalemate.

Changes are occurring in the continent. One of which is the cancellation of the Annual Continental Spirit Tournament.

Many academies and clans were forced to closed doors. On the other hand, others also join the war to gain merits and wealth. Some spirit masters make a name for themselves during the war and some also died.

The most interesting thing that took place was that the Spirit Hall actually knew and attacked the long-lost Clear Sky Clan. Their attacked was repelled but it causes the Clear Sky Clan to be exposed again in the continent.

The appearance of the Clear Sky Clan causes the two big empire to pursuade them to join forces but the Clear Sky Clan didn't want to. Even after how many tries and benefits the two empire wanted to give, Clear Sky Clan persisted and said that they won't join the war.

The four subsidiary clans of the Clear Sky Clan were angered and disgusted of their attitude and mocked them of being cowards. The four subsidiary clans which represents attack, defence, speed, strenght then joined the empire.

After the Shrek Students and Teachers arrived to Heaven Dou Imperial Academy, the academy directly accepted them with their talents.

The Shrek Devils also joined the war despite their small strength. Yu Xiaogang ordered them to wake up to reality and know the cruelty of the world.

In these five years, Tang San already knew the true identity of his father and also his clan but after seeing the attitude of his clan towards the war. He decided not to get back to the clan and follow his father.

Dai Mubai also went home. His family was surprised of his arrival but then again they don't have any parental time because of the current war. His brother was not in the mood and just ignored him. His brother knew that he could take advantage of this war to secretly kill Dai Mubai but he decided not to. Dai Mubai then joined the war to get experience.

Ning Rongrong also went back to his clan and meet his father. Her father then told her about the reason of this war. His father also share that he invited John in their clan five years ago and knew that he was leaving to get stronger. Ning Rongrong was shocked after knowing that John was really a powerful person. She also share the information his father said to the others which causes them to feel shocked.

Ma Hongjun and Oscar were also improving during the war. With the help of Flender and Yu Xiaogang they also became strong and matured at the same time.

After all that happened, they made some promised to meet again after five years in the academy.

When all of this happened, John and the others were just relaxing and getting stronger in some place in the continent.

Extreme North,

In the most far away place at the north direction. Which is a plain covered with ice with a very low temperature, three cloaked youths could be seen looking towards the battle in front of them.

These three youths were actually John, Zhu Zhuqing and Sia and they were looking towards Entei, Suicune, and Raikou fighting a 100,000 years old spirit beast. It was a bear type spirit beast with a height of atleast five meters.

Despite being a 100,000 years old, the spirit beast was getting attacked non-stopped by the three legendary Pokemons.

The battle lasted for thirty minutes before the spirit beast died.

Entei, Suicune and Raikou then head towards John's direction. John after seeing them easily killed a 100,000 years old spirit beast was proud. With his constant training, the three legendary Pokemons now had a combined power which could even kill a 100,000 spirit beast. 0

John looked at them and then said "Good Job."

Entei, Suicune, and Raikou then roared after being praised by John.

"Let's head back and rest." John said while looking at Zhu Zhuqing and Sia.

"Mmm." Zhu Zhuqing and Sia said.

John then ride on Entei's back while Zhu Zhuqing and Sia also ride on Suicune and Raikou. They then head towards the place they stayed for about five years.

Inside the cave,

The cave was big enough to fit them all. Though it's just a cave but when you're inside you can see that it had all the necessary things a house could have.

When John and the others arrived, they immediately made lights. These lights were bought by John in the store.

They then found a place to sit. After that, John and the others then took out a pokeball and then three pokemons came out.

The first one had lithe body structure and vegetation protruding from its body. Its tail and ears are stylized to resemble torn and tattered leaves. Besides the leaf-like ears and tail, there are a multitude of smaller leaves growing from its body; leaves grow out from the knee joint areas on the forelegs and hind legs, its chest and its back. A larger, curled leaf grows from the middle of its forehead and is the same, soft-green color of all the other leaves. Its body is tan-colored, while its feet are brown colored.

The second one resembles a black cat or black rabbit. It has mainly sleek black fur with luminescent yellow rings encircling its ears and tail and round yellow circular patterns on its forehead and on each of its upper legs. Its physical characteristics resemble a feline, with a short muzzle and a small triangular nose, but its large ears are reminiscent to a hare or a rabbit. It has red eyes, and slightly bushy black tail with a single yellow ring encircling its thickest part; the tail thins out at the tip.

The last one had a white colored fur covering most of its slender body. The top of its head is a vibrant shade of pink, and it has long pink rabbit-like ears with dark blue insides. It has a short, blunt cat-like muzzle and a small black nose. A scarf-like appendages with pink and blue tips curl around it's body. It has four slender legs, small dainty pink-tipped paws, and feet with three visible toes on each. It has two large blue eyes with white pupils and a fluffy pink tail that curves inward slightly to form a crescent shape.

These three were actually the Eevees three years ago. Sia and Zhu Zhuqing also decided on which evolution they would like their Eevee to take. And with the helped of the system, the evolution comes smoothly.

The three eevees before were now, Lefeon, Umbreon, and Sylveon. A grass, dark and fairy types of Pokemons. Zhu Zhuqing evolved her Eevee to Umbreon as it gave of a same feeling and characteristics towards her. Sia on the other hand, evolved her Eevee to Sylveon as she thought that Sylveon was the most beautiful of all her evolution. And for the last one, John decided to evolved it to Lefeon as it also represent its owner in the future.

The three Pokemons then jumped towards their owner while Lefeon leaped on John.

John and the then decided to eat and head to bed afterwards. Entei, Suicune, and Raikou together with Lefeon, Umbreon, and Sylveon to stay on the entrance. They were guarding the entrance if there were any spirit beast coming towards them.

On the bed,

John lie on the bed with Zhu Zhuqing and Sia on his arms.

"John, we've been here for almost five years already." Zhu Zhuqing suddenly said.

"Mmm, I think it's time for us to leave and head back to see the situation." John replied. Although they were in the place far from the main land. They occasionally went back to hunt a spirit ring for Zhu Zhuqing in which John knew that the Douluo Continent were on chaos.

"Really, master?" Sia asked excitedly.

"Yeah, and it's already time for me to start my plan." John seriously said.

Zhu Zhuqing just looked at John. She already knew all the story of John aside from the system. She knew that his mission in this world was to unify the mainland and to kill the four God Kings. At first, she was shocked after knowing that there were really Gods in this world but after knowing that John was the successor of the only True God. Zhu Zhuqing did not interest other Gods anymore.

"Let's sleep. We will head back tomorrow afternoon." John said before kissing their foreheads.

Zhu Zhuqing and Sia nodded and then closed their eyes.

John think for a while before closing his eyes too.
