Chapter 76 - Changes

---The next morning---

John continue moving forward while killing all the Aragamis that they encountered on the way. Resting early at night and moving early in the morning while the sun still not rising.

John, however, was thinking what day in January will the start of the story would start as it didn't specified in the anime but he could only tell that it might be soon. 

The two then continued moving forward before stopping in some abandoned place in the wasteland for lunch.

On the top of the building, 

John and Shio were taking their time eating the food that John made while looking at the horizon which they could only see several buildings. John could only thought that they were still a bit far after seeing what he was looking for.

"John, can you teach me now?" Shio suddenly asked while looking at John with expectation. 

"Not yet." John smiled after seeing that Shio was really serious with the skill that he used after getting bugged by her every time. 

Shio pouted after hearing John's reply before continue eating.

John then looked again at the horizon before finishing his meal which then the two decided to move again.

---The sky was starting to get dark---

In some place in the wasteland, 

John and Shio happened to be in this place finding a place to stay for the night. The two then decided to climb a higher place first to see the situation before seeing that several Aragamis were roaming around the place. 

John keep looking as he felt very familiar with the place before he suddenly caught someone running out of the building. John looked at it and became shocked after seeing who it was. He didn't thought that he would actually see the protagonist of this world which could only mean that moment would be the start of his journey but before anything else, he returned his gazed towards the building before immediately jumping down. 

"Shio, follow me quick." John said as he was falling down and right after his feet touched ground, he then immediately rushed forward towards the building.

Upon hearing, Shio did not lagged behind and followed him immediately as she thought that something came up after seeing that John was in a hurry.

Inside the building, 

A red-haired girl who was leaning on the wall while some blood gushing out on her neck was looking towards the Aragamis who was now ready to eat her. 

"I'm sorry. Mother, Father." The girl murmured after losing hope to live after seeing the Aragamis were now coming closer to her when suddenly a person barged in the place and killed all of them. 

"Fortunately, I made it in time." John said after finishing all the Aragamis before looking towards the girl who was now starting to lose consciousness. 

The girl looked at the person who arrived but she could not properly saw his face before finally closing her eyes. 

John saw this and immediately moved towards her and felt that she just got fainted but will die anytime soon. He then immediately summoned the potions that were stack on his inventory and forced her to drink it before buying magic beans for her eat up which John saw how her injuries got healed but still in an unconscious state.

Moments later, Shio entered the room and saw John carrying some unknown girl. 

"Who was that, John?" Shio suddenly asked after being curious of who the girl was. 

"Well, let's wait for her to wake up." John replied fully knowing who she was.

Shio then just nodded and thought that it would become merrier this time seeing that another person will be coming with them. 

The two then found a better building to stay for the night before John ordered Shio to protect her as he decided to clean up all the Aragamis in the vicinity.

In a room inside the building, 

Three people could be found naked in the bathtub were one of them was cleaning the other one, the third person on the other hand was looking curiously towards the person who was being cleaned up. This three person were actually John, Shio, and the girl that they just saved.

John looked at how mature the girl's body was despite being young. Her curves were already starting to show while her breasts were already big enough for his hand to grab them. 

This situation happened after John returned back and decided to take a bath especially the girl that they brought in after smelling that she reeked of blood. 

While John was cleaning the girl, Shio was carefully looking at the girl while thinking how big the difference between them. 

"John, how come they were so big?" Shio suddenly asked after comparing her breasts to the girl's breasts. 

"Hahahhahaha. That's because you're still young." John made a reasonable answer while looking at her fondling her cute breasts. 

Hearing it, Shio then just nodded and thought that hers would become big soon before continue looking at them.

They then finished up before heading to the other room to eat which John already placed the girl into a comfortable bed that he bought in the store.

After John and Shio finished eating, they then rest for the night seeing how quiet the place was.

---One week later---

In a room in the building, 

John and Shio already stayed in place for a week already and all they did was to roam to see if there were Aragamis in the vicinity leaving the girl behind the room. 

Suddenly the girl opened her eyes while looking at her surroundings and thought on what was happening. She then looked at her hands before getting out of the bed to looked outside.

After a while, the door of the room suddenly opened which John and Shio entered while being surprised to see that the girl was already awake. 

The girl looked at them with tears flowing on her eyes. The girl then wiped them away and adjusted herself before bowing toward them. 

"Thank you very much for helping me." The girl said after being grateful with them as she remembered that they were the persons who helped her back then.

"By the way, I'm John and this is Shio." John introduced their selves fisrst seeing that the girl was already fine. 

"Hello" Shio excitedly greeted after seeing that the girl was already wake. 

The girl looked at them before introducing herself. 

"I'm Iroha, Iroha Utsugi." Iroha then also introduced herself.

"Well, how about we eat lunch first." John said and changed the mood as he knew that Iroha might have several questions to ask.

John then decided to take out the things they needed which Iroha was greatly shocked after seeing John summoned it out of nowhere. She couldn't wait to ask some questions but she decided to wait later after seeing how serious he was.

It didn't take long before the food was done which the three already had a plate each ready to eat which Shio did not wait any longer and was the first to eat while Iroha couldn't bring herself to eat after seeing how beautiful and delicious it was despite not tasting it but she suddenly turned her gazed towards John.

Iroha looked at John's appearance and couldn't help but blushed seeing how handsome he really was as it was really rare to see a person like him in the wasteland.

"The food will get cold if you keep looking at me like that." John amusingly said after seeing Iroha staring at him.

Upon hearing, Iroha woke up and immediately lower her head down but redness could still be seen on her cheeks. She then started to grabbed some food before eating. 0

John also did the same after seeing that Shio might finish the food that he made.

In the midst of their eating, Iroha suddenly looked at John as she wanted to ask him something. 

"J-John, if its okay to ask, did you see a boy when you save me?" Iroha suddenly asked while hoping that the boy she was talking was alive. 

"Well, yes. I saw someone running outside in the building you're in." John truthfully answered as it will be a matter of time before they see each other again. 

Hearing this, Iroha then suddenly stopped eating as she stood up as if she was in hurry. 

"Where are you going?" John asked after seeing that she wanted to leave the place. Shio also looked at her curiously while eating. 

"He was my little brother. I need to find him." Iroha said as she was already walking towards the door as she was worried about the boy she was talking to. 

"Do you know that you're unconscious for a whole week." John suddenly said while calmly eating the food.

Iroha suddenly halted her action after hearing what just John said before looking back at him. 

"A-A week?" Iroha asked as she couldn't believe what John said as she thought that only a night had passed. 

"Yeah." John casually replied.

Iroha fell down on the floor after hearing that John was serious about telling her being unconscious for a week. 

"Don't worry too much. Your brother will be fine." John said as he knew that her brother or adoptive brother would be fine as he was originally the protagonist of this world. 

Iroha then just stayed still before heading back to the table feeling down but there was still a ray of hope on her eyes hearing that he's might still alive.

John and the others then finished their meal before heading on the rooftop.

On the rooftop, 

John, Shio, and Iroha were looking at the sky. Though there's nothing beautiful to look at but it was still relaxing to see it from time to time. 

"C-Can I follow you?" Iroha suddenly asked as she thought she had nothing to do anymore after realizing that her brother might already be to the place she wanted him to go. 

John looked at Iroha while smiling after hearing what she just said. 

"Well, it was my intention all along and we could probably meet your brother soon." John replied before looking back to the sky. 

Upon hearing, Iroha then became happy a bit after hearing what he said but there was still something that bugging her.

They then did not linger any longer as John decided to leave the place. They then continue their journey again but this time was different as there were three of them.

On their way, Iroha admired how the two fought against the Aragamis while imagining if she could also did the same like them but she could only dream of it as she was just an ordinary person.

---Night---

In some room in an abandoned building, 

John travelled for quite some time and only stopped as it was already dark which they found themselves in an abandoned city. 

Right now, Iroha could be seen on the bathtub alone while thinking what happened during the day and couldn't help but clenched her fists seeing how useless she was. She then decided to finish taking a bath before heading back to the other room.

On the rooftop, 

John was there alone looking towards the distance while smiling as he could finally saw the place he was looking for.

Moments later, John heard some footsteps coming from behind and immediately knew who it was. 

"Are you done?" John asked after seeing her. 

"Yeah." Iroha replied before heading beside him. She asked Shio earlier where John was which Shio answered that he's on the rooftop before Shio entered the room to take a bath. 

Right after that, a sudden silence then occupied the place which only the sound of the gust of wind and some strange sounds could be heard. 

"J-John, how did you even managed to save me?" Iroha suddenly asked while holding her neck as she remembered that she took the initiative to injure herself that time.

"It's a secret." John said while looking at her. Though he was not afraid to tell her the truth but he thought that she might not believe it so it's better to explain it later on. 

"Let's head down as we don't know what Shio would do while bathing." John said before thinking that Shio was bathing alone. 

"What do you mean by that?" Iroha was confused but she still followed him down.

Outside the room, 

John and Iroha were now just outside the room where the bathtub located but they stopped right in front of the door after seeing that water were flowing from the inside. 

John then opened the door and saw how messed the room was while seeing Shio playing on the water tank that he bought. 

"Hehehehe, John, this place was more fun than in the bathtub." Shio said after seeing John and Iroha. She then jumped down and leaped towards in John's arms.

Iroha blushed seeing how Shio moved around nakedly showing all her private parts and couldn't help to looked at John. 

"See, this is what happened if she was left alone." John said. In their one year of being together, this thing happened from time to time to the point that John told her that they need to take a bath together. 

Iroha looked at the place before looking at how happy Shio was in John's arms before she suddenly thought something on her mind. 

"T-Then, who's the person who take good care of me for the past week?" Iroha suddenly asked while thinking what happened during the past week.

John looked at Iroha while smiling as he knew what was running through her mind right now.

"I did all the work including washing every inch of your body," John whispered to her ear before heading to the other room. 

Hearing this, Iroha's head was about to explode seeing how red it was. She then suddenly held her own body and imagined how John washed her before she couldn't take it anymore and screamed. 

John who was already on the other room just laughed at this before helping Shio wearing her clothes.
