ATTACK OF HOLLOWS (Part-2)

"Ahhhh...." roared the Gillians, their tall bodies swayed in the sky as more and more of them entered the space. The spiritual density kept on increasing in the surroundings. Nikasu, white flames surrounding his body stood in front on the group. 2

He had already released others, and had drawn out his [Sword of rupture]. The increasing spiritual pressure was too much for them.

The pressure released by the Gillians weighed down on their soul. Due to their lack of knowledge about [Spiritual-magic], they couldn't defend against the pressure.

Nikasu glanced back, only Mahiyu, Kaguya and the servants could withstand the pressure.

"What...is going on????...." said Miyuki as she created a transparent ice dome covering them.

Miyuki's ability to manipulate ice was a bit special as her magic could even freeze a person's conscious. Her dome momentarily stopped the pressure released by Gillian.

"Thank you Miyuki..." said Tatsuya as he eyed the strange creatures.

"No problem Oni-sama....." replied Miyuki with a smile.

"Can someone tell me what is going on...." asked Mari with anger evident in her tone.

"Do you think that S.T.A.R.S are the one behind this attack..????" asked Mayumi.

"I don't think so, they aren't capable of something like this. Someone knew that we would be coming to save the girls, and used this opportunity to attack us."

"It is very likely an assassination attempt. Either it is done by the [Blood-council] or by the one behind S.T.A.R.S." replied Mahiyu.

"The one behind S.T.A.R.S.....?????" asked Mayumi with a frown.

"This experiment was sponsored by an anonymous entity, or so said the information I was able to retrieve from the computers of the Fortress." added Kyouko.

"They want no evidence to remain, thus they could be the one to attack us. After all there is no one else who could have initiated an attack on this level." said Kyouko.

"Damn it.....the dome won't hold for long." cracks started to appear on the dome.

The spiritual pressure was truly intense.

"[Magic-barrier]....." the defense system of the [Hanging gardens of Babylon] activated as pillar shot in the sky and covered the whole flying fortress inside a sphere.

The stone pillar shone with a bright light, three pillar joined together in the shape of a fan. Psion cluster appeared at the center of the joined structure and launched a powerful beam towards the Gillians.

Sensing the incoming danger, the Gillians opened their mouths and launched concentrated [Cero] towards the incoming energy beam.

Both of the attacks collided together

,neutralizing each other in the process. The Gillian once again opened their mouth and started gathering energy for another round of [Cero].

Shing.....

A red blur burst out the ocean surface and impacted a Gillian's mask, destroying it in one shot. The ocean surface burst open as a red-black colored Ichizu appeared mid air.

Water lines ran down his face and body, dripping mid-air. His eyes had already turned into his Mangekyou sharingan.

A red streak zoomed towards his arm, Ichizu caught the blurr, a red colored cross-spear appeared in his hand. The [Sword of Time] had disappeared from his hand and was replaced by a cross like spear.

"Who ever it may be today only death awaits those who mess with me." Ichizu had a cold expression on his face as he glared at the Gillians.

"[Cross of Time:- Strike]...." Ichizu pointed his Spear towards a Gillian who had been charging his Cero.

A red beam burst out of the tip of his spear and collided with the unfinished Cero. The red beam amplified the Cero, causing its size to increase.

Ichizu face held to emotion so didn't his voice "Explode.....".

The big sphere exploded along with some of the Gillians that were caught in the aftermath of the explosion.

Ichizu shot forward at full speed ,transforming into a red blurry which zoomed past the Gillians causing them to explode.

Some of them launched Cero at him, but the Truth seeking orbs had already melted into his outfit, making his defense impenetrable.

Ichizu still avoided the Cero, and waved his Cross towards one of the Gillian who had been charging his Cero.

The time around it stopped as he couldn't stop adding power to the Cero, once again it exploded killing it along with some others.

"Why do I feel that this is a distraction..????" thought Ichizu as he clashed with the Gillians.

"The Director.....!!!! shit!!!..." he remembered that the director was still there, he turned around only to see that the director had disappeared from the scene.

This angered Ichizu greatly, he launched himself high in the air. The Gillians had charged their Cero and launched it toward Ichizu from all directions.

"[Cross of Time:- Rewind]....." suddenly the incoming beams paused mid-air and started receeding back until it reached their mask.

"[Cross of Time:- Phase Skip]....." Ichizu controlled the time of the Cero and changed its time to when it would explode.

BOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!!!!!

Their masks burst apart causing them to dissipate into nothingness. Even the Space tear had disappeared from the sky, which had brightened once again.

(Meanwhile)

"Where am I ...." the man wearing a white lab coat asked as he observed his surrounding with great caution.

"It's okay Director, you are okay....I am glad we could get you out of that place, I didn't wanted to have to kill you to conceal the information." a young man glanced towards the Director and spoke with a smile.

Looking at the person standing in front of him, he immediately recognized the person.

"[Eye of the Egypt]....argghhhh..." a blade went through his heart, ending his life.

"But I have changed my mind...,I can't let you live since the whole Ruujiki clan would hunt you down. I don't want them to find out that it was us who invested in that project." he gently wipes his blade with a napkin before the dead body was devoured by his shadow.

"This is going to be very interesting....." he snickered away.
