As the two brothers walked back home with groceries, Jun noticed a familiar figure.

Nozomi had a gleeful smile as she walked out of a bookstore with a package in her hands. Noticing her, Aito lit up and waved at her.

"Nozomi-saaan!"

Startled by her name being called out, Nozomi turned towards them. Seeing the two brothers, her eyes lit up, and she walked over with a smile plastered on her face.

"Jun! Aito! Nice to see you!" Noticing the bags in their hands, she chucked and spoke in a joking manner. "Jun as a housewife? I never thought I'd see the day."

"Well, someone has to do it." Smiling, Jun ignored her comments and spoke in a curious tone. "So, how's the princess life treating you?"

"Oh, come on! You know that I don't have that kind of privilege... I'm just like any other clan head's son or daughter." Waving it off, Nozomi smiled. "We're going in the same direction, so how about we walk together?"

"Yay!" Excited, Aitogrinned from ear to ear. Seeing this, Jun nodded. "Why not."

As they strolled through Konoha's streets, Jun noticed something weird.

Hidden behind the corner of a scroll shop, Minato was acting suspiciously, as if he was hiding from someone. Seeing this, Jun narrowed his eyes and followed his line of sight, noticing a red-haired girl.

"Oy, Aniki! I'm talking to you! Are you even listening-" Following Jun's gaze, Aito saw Minato and jumped in surprise. "Minatoooo!"

Screaming with all his strength, Aito started rushing towards the blondie, who jolted in surprise and quickly grabbed him, hiding behind the wall. Covering Aito's mouth, he signaled for him to keep his mouth shut.

"Mph!" Scared stiff, Aito nodded a couple of times before Minato released him. Silently creeping to the edge of the wall, he checked to see if the girl was still there.

'Gone...' Sighing, Minato turned back to Aito, who looked at him with a confused expression. Not knowing what to say, he clasped his hands together and apologized while laughing awkwardly.

"Minato... I didn't know that you were a stalker. What did Jiraiya-sensei teach you?" Frowning, Nozomi spoke in a cold, frigid tone. Behind her, Jun had an amused expression.

"I-I..." Seeing his two teammates, Minato slightly blushed, before breathing out and calming himself. Straightening his posture, he tried to explain. "I was just checking out some scrolls..."

Not buying it, Nozomi smirked and wrapped her arm around him, startling the young blonde. "Hehehe, tell me... Who is she? You may be smart in battle, but right now, you're like an open book!"

Nozomi felt happy that she could finally showcase some seniority over Minato. After all, she was two years older than him.

"..." Clearly uncomfortable, Minato quickly escaped her grab. "It's nothing... I was just watching over someone."

"Nozomi, he doesn't want to talk about it... As teammates, we shouldn't push him too far." Standing by Aito, Jun smiled warmly. "Didn't I tell you that before we went to the land of tea?"

"Haaah... You're right. I'm sorry for pushing it, Minato." Understanding Jun's meaning, Nozomi lowered her head in an effort to apologize, surprising both of her teammates.

'Since when did Nozomi start listening to Jun like that...?' Suspicious, Minato chose to remain quiet about it. Looking at both of them, he felt like he was missing something.

As they were talking, Jiraiya suddenly appeared in front of them with a puff of smoke.

"I've been looking everywhere for you three! We're going on a mission!"
