[Bonus chapter]Chapter 262 - Dear one, our date is not complete without a kiss
"Okay, I would just sit here and watch," Sabrina finally said but Robin was not comfortable with that option since he felt that he was still lacking in speed and did not want to show that weakness before her.1
Raking his mind, he came up with the perfect excuse.
"You should rather prepare for work, remember?"
Sabrina stiffened instantly since she had forgotten it was a Monday.
She smiled a little, realizing how much she was beginning to like this Robin again.
Standing on her feet, she said quickly,
"Thanks for reminding me."
Robin smiled with satisfaction, as he watched Sabrina's back when she left to go freshen up and go to work.
A relief sigh escaped him instantly. Since it was a simple English breakfast, Sabrina had not come downstairs by the time Robin was done so he went to shower and prepare himself after keeping the food in a food warmer.
Robin had taken the pain to even research online about a lot of things. He knew that Sabrina would need more attention from him if she entered her second and third trimester, and was making arrangements for them all.
Sabrina stepped out of the shower room and since she had not had time to do this like she was supposed to do yesterday, she began to look around, realizing that things were just the way she liked them.
Everything was neat and clean. Robin's clothes were in the closet but she also saw female clothes in her size, which amazed her that he indeed got work clothes for her but these were from Devin's collections.
Instantly, she began to wonder how long Devin had been helping Robin.
There was a knock on the door and Sabrina went to get it in her bathrobe, thinking it was one of the maids.
When she saw Robin, also with a towel robe with his hair damp, she knew that he showered elsewhere and felt a little guilty for kicking him out of his room.
"Come in," she said but Robin refused and said,
"I will come back when you are done."
He was careful to not lose control because of the attraction he was feeling towards her.
He did not want to do anything to upset her but rather earn her trust. Sabrina felt that he was right and did not insist on it.
Luckily when she finished dressing up this time, she saw one of the maids and said to her,
"Help me with my zip."
"Yes ma'am," the maid smiled and zipped her dress for her.
She went to the dining room, and at the same time, Robin entered the master bedroom to dress up.
He took his time to ravish in Sabrina's scent, since it was everywhere, and calming.
It was only after remembering that she was waiting for him that he hastened and joined her at the dining table.
Sabrina was amazed to see him transform into the breathtaking CEO he was once again.
During their past days when she saw him like this, she would wish that he would smile at her but got none of it.
Interestingly enough, she was getting all the smiles she never got at the time she wanted it.
The black suit gave him a powerful aura, making him even more attractive, her cheeks pinked.
"You look very beautiful, dear one," Robin smiled and complimented her but Sabrina avoided his gaze, wondering why he had to be so attractive.
"Thank you and you look good yourself," she murmured and hastily stuffed a piece of bacon in her mouth to avoid his gaze.
Robin was mesmerized by the woman sitting in front of him, unable to tell if it was her pregnancy glow but felt that every time he saw her, she looked more and more beautiful.
Her blonde hair and amber eyes, made him think if she was an angel sent from heaven.
No matter what happened between them, Robin knew that Sabrina had a fragile and pure heart, which he determined to protect this time and not break it like he did before.
"Coming from you, I'm so excited but how is the food?" He asked her and she swallowed before responding,
"Good."
Robin wanted to hug and kiss her but each time, he needed permission to do those things to her and hoped for the time when he wouldn't be needing them.
That would be when he would spoil her with so much love that she would forget the image of the past Robin in her mind.
When they left the villa, the maids gathered to gossip.
"Did you see the master in the kitchen? He cooked for Madam last night and this morning," one of the maids said.
"Yes, master has changed and is so different. I hope Madam moves in again. This house would be filled with happiness now," another maid seconded.
"I like this side of the master. I hope that he doesn't cause Madam pain again. She cried so much before," a third maid said.
"But he was making her smile this morning. I think Master has changed for good," the first maid said again when they heard the clearing of a throat behind them,
"Mmmm, you are here to work and not to gossip. You all get back to work," Margaret began to chastise them, and they hurried away.
When Robin reached Sabrina's office, her two secretaries greeted her politely,
"Welcome ma'am."
"Thank you," Sabrina smiled and said before asking, "I hope you two are good?"
"Yes Ma'am," they both responded together, as Robin walked her inside, ensuring that she was comfortable before he said,
"I would take my leave now and if you are tired and need to rest for a little while, I have a room in my office where you can do so."
Sabrina did not think much into it but Robin was worried because she did not sleep well last night.
"Okay," Sabrina responded absentmindedly and was about to sit when Robin said,
"Dear one, our date is not complete without a kiss."
