Chapter 273 – Making Considerations

"No. If he's still there by evening, then he might equally be expecting us. To avoid what happened last time, I sent him a signal that we needed to talk with him," Daniel explained.1

Tracking down a hacker was not easy, but getting the wrong location and coming back empty-handed was even worse, let alone missing the presence of the hacker you have worked so hard to find.

"Alright. I hate to leave Sabrina behind, but confirm it and let me know in advance," Robin said before turning around as Daniel responded,

"Sure. Enjoy your breakfast." Then he said to Lizzy, who was chatting with Sabrina, "Lizzy, shall we?"

Lizzy nodded, and the two of them left. Robin went back to his chair as Sabrina asked, without a smile,

"What is going on?"

It was easy for her to get suspicious because of the men's facial expressions and how they spoke in undertones.

Robin did not know if it was right to tell her, not wanting to give her panic attacks. He also did not know the reason to give her for being interested in Mara's case since he had begun working on it a long time ago.

He did not want to put her in a situation where she would agree to marry him again out of guilt. If they were still married, he would not hide it from her.

"Do you mind if I keep it a secret?" he asked, but upon seeing her facial reaction, he concluded that it wasn't a good idea and added, "It's a surprise, but I don't want to count my chickens before they are hatched."

Sabrina's brows raised, thinking it had something to do with their trip to either Rome or Paris. She still had not decided between her sister and best friend who should go on the trip with her.

"If it's a surprise, does it mean that you will tell me later?" she asked with a smile, and Robin was happy that she didn't dig further.

The weight lightened in his chest, and he said, "Sure, that is if I succeed at it."

"Okay, I'm through with my food. You should finish up. I have something to show you," she maintained her smile and said.

Robin began to eat faster, enthused by whatever she wanted to show him.

He finished up in the next ten minutes before Sabrina led him to the sofa and said to him,

"I was thinking about the twins. Their room decoration and all. You are welcome to help."

She was not forcing it, only giving him the chance if he was interested.

However, Robin was having mixed feelings.

If Sabrina was thinking about having the kids' room in her mansion, then she was not considering moving back to the villa.

"That should be done at the villa, right?" Robin asked, his gaze unwavering, sending the message of the seriousness in his tone.

"Robin..." Sabrina wanted to remind him that they were only good friends, but Robin knew her so well and had gotten accustomed to that statement, cutting in,

"Can we talk somewhere private? There are people around."

Sabrina looked around, thinking of how awkward it might seem to tell the maids to put a hold on their work until she was done talking to Robin.

She might not even finish anytime soon since he was going to spend the whole day there. Crisped with nervousness, she said,

"Let's go to my room."

Robin smiled internally, feeling that their relationship was growing each and every day for her to invite him to her room when none of her trusted allies were around.

It meant that she was beginning to trust him again.

"Nice room you have here," he said admiringly as Sabrina beckoned him to sit beside her on the bed.

"Thanks. So, Robin, the children's room would have to be in this mansion," Sabrina said firmly, wiping the smile from Robin's lips.

Approaching her in such matters required his maximum patience to not upset her, so he said carefully,

"Please, my queen, are you not considering us moving together? What do we tell them when they grow up, the reason why mommy and daddy are living apart?"

His words struck Sabrina's heart, and knowing the truth in them, she was lost for words.

However, she felt more comfortable living apart, afraid that if he had her back, he might change from what he presently is.

"I..."

Robin did not want to hear her explanation about why she thought it was the right decision. He wanted both of them under the same roof for the sake of the twins.

Left with him alone, he wouldn't mind doing it, but the kids should not have a timetable of when they can or cannot see their dad because he doesn't live with their mom.

"Please, I don't expect you to explain why you don't want to move back to the villa. I already know that, but what I want now is for us to think about the future of our kids. We still have five months at most to go."

Since he was allowing her enough time to think about it, Sabrina felt better. She would not be able to take it if he imposed it.

"But their things need to be bought before then," she reminded him, hinting that she would still go ahead with preparing the room.

Robin thoughtfully made his stand known in a different way.

"I will still have the maids convert one of the bedrooms to a twins' room in the next two months."

"Robin..." Sabrina wanted to disagree, feeling that if that was done, then he was going to force her after the twins were born. But Robin cleared her anxieties by saying,

"Well, if you come to visit, they could still use it if you don't want to move in, and we could have one set up here too."

Sabrina pursed her lips upon realizing it wasn't what she thought, and he was still justified in his suggestion.

"I will give it serious thought and let you know my decision," she finally said.
