Chapter 114 - I miss you so much Sabrina, you have no idea…

Back at the hospital, another food had arrived, and Sabrina found herself asking, "Is this food from the crystal hotel?"0

"Not the hotel. I asked the chef to cook it, especially for you," Robin explained. It was understandable that the chef was Robin's employee, so Sabrina asked,

"Can I get the ingredients and steps?"

"Of course, but since you are busy, you can request anything you want from him at any time," Robin assured her while he wrote down the contact for her. If she wanted, he could assign the chef to only be responsible for Sabrina's food.

"Thank you," Sabrina sighed and said while she began to dig in. This time, she invited Robin to eat with her, and for a moment, it was as if everything was peaceful between them. 

When they were done, and Robin cleared the place, he said to her,

"You will be discharged tomorrow, so I will be working from here."

Sabrina froze instantly. She also realized that he carried a sizable bag with him, which, most probably, had everything he needed with him. 

Having Robin around in the evening was not easy for her, and now, he was going to stay throughout the day tomorrow?

Sabrina did not like the idea. She only warmed up to him because whether she liked it or not, they would be raising the child together. 

"Robin, please, Matilda would come."

"Tell her not to come. Better still, give me her number to call her. I can still get it even if you don't give it to me," Robin insisted. 

Sabrina knew he wouldn't stop, so she reluctantly gave him the number, and he dialed a few times. 

There was no answer, so he felt that perhaps, Matilda was in the kitchen or shower. Thereby sending a text message, 

'I will be with Sabrina tomorrow, so no need to come. Robin.'

He was surprised to receive an instant response, 

'Okay.'

Robin was surprised that she did not question it and dialed her number. When she answered, the sound of the voice told him that the girl was being pumped, and he heard Devin's jealous voice,

"Who is on the line?"

"It's Robin. He said he was going to be with Sabrina tomorrow, so I don't need to come," Matilda spoke in a pleasure-filled voice. 

They were just about to go past foreplay and get to the real thing when the beeps and rings from Matilda's phone distracted them.

"How the fuck did he get your number?" Devin was upset and snatched the phone from her. His naked body was covering Matilda's naked form, but his weight was supported by his elbows whiles he spoke into the phone, asking Robin, 

"How the fuck did you get her number?"

Robin was trying very hard to stifle his laughter as he discerned what was going on. It was all thanks to him citing Daniel to make Devin jealous. 

Devin went to claim the love of his life for good. At least Robin deserved a trophy for pulling such a stunt. 

"From her best friend. Why are you being all possessive of her? She is not your sister, in case you forgot." 

Robin was pushing the limits to see if Devin would deny what was going on between him and Matilda but to his amazement, Devin responded in a deep, alluring proud voice,

"She's my woman. Mine alone so tell that friend of yours that if he looks at her again, I will pluck out his eyes."

Robin laughed, and Sabrina glared at him, so he quickly said, "I will hang up now."

Sabrina wondered what Matilda was saying to make Robin laugh and got curious. "Why are you laughing?" She asked him. 

Robin looked at her and smiled. How could he tell her that her brother was banging her best friend? Sabrina was not going to hear it from him.

"Nothing," Robin pursed his lips and said, but Sabrina did not believe him. Staring suspiciously at him, she asked directly,

"What did Matilda say?"

Since Sabrina knew that Devin and Robin were not on good terms, Robin decided to use it as an excuse. 

"She did not answer the phone, but Devin did."

Sabrina sighed, guessing that Devin must have said some mean things to Robin. She smiled and replied, 

"Oh, I guess he cursed you."

"You know him well," Robin agreed while trying his best not to laugh out loud. "So, how was your day?" He suddenly got serious and asked Sabrina.

"Productive. I managed to get sixty percent of the work done, so it's not bad, and thanks for the suggestion," she lowered her head and spoke. She did not know why they were talking like friends, but it was better than being enemies.

"That is good to hear. I believe the remaining forty percent had a lot to do with approvals," he suggested.

"You guessed right," Sabrina agreed. 

Robin noticed the casual dress she wore and how her hair fell loosely to her back. Without makeup on her face, she carried that angelic look he used to admire so much but never told her about. 

"You look Beautiful, Sabrina. One might not even know that you are not well."

Sabrina stiffened at his words. For three years they were married, Robin never complimented her before but how time changed, in that he was telling her after the divorce. She did not want to respond to him, thereby adjusting her IVs well and closing her eyes, pretending that she had not heard.

From the way the conversation turned out, she also did not want to speak to him again. She was surprised when she felt warm, moist lips on her forehead that caused every cell in her body to jump to life.

She was about to open her eyes when she heard him say, "I miss you so much, Sabrina. You have no idea how these few days with you have been the best in my life."

Sabrina's eyes tightened shut, and she dared not open them, as she thought about if she was dreaming to hear him say those things to her.
