[Bonus chapter]Chapter 302 – Mara, you never stay out of trouble.

"Your pregnancy is progressing healthily. Would you like to know the sex of the babies?" the doctor asked.

Robin and Sabrina exchanged a meaningful look, silently contemplating the question.

While it would be exciting to find out the sex of their babies, Sabrina couldn't help but feel that it would take away the element of surprise.

She wanted to experience the joy of having both a boy and a girl, and she wasn't sure how she would feel if they found out they were having only one gender.

After a moment of contemplation, she made up her mind.

"No, let it be a surprise," Sabrina said, her lips pursed.

Robin chuckled, nodding his head in agreement. He too had wanted to wait and was amazed that Sabrina had voiced his thoughts without them even discussing it.

"That's exactly what I was thinking," he said.

The doctor smiled, pleased with their decision.

"It is settled then. I will wait until you are ready," she said.

Robin and Sabrina smiled back, relieved that they were on the same page.

The fact that they were in agreement reassured them that they had made the right choice, and they both felt a sense of happiness.

Sabrina had arranged for a driver to pick them up, not wanting to disturb her brother or Daniel. However, they had called earlier to check on both of them.

The driver collected the bags and proceeded to the car, leading the way for the others.

He was one of Robin's drivers, specifically assigned to the company. He was also the one who drove Robin and Daniel him during his search for Peter the first time.

Since Zayla was also absent, her driver had been reassigned to chauffeur some of the managers.

While enroute to the villa, Sabrina contacted her secretary to provide instructions on tasks she would be handling remotely from the villa.

She mentioned that the documents could be sent to her through Laura or via email if no signature was required.

Robin did the same with Aria, but as they neared the villa, his phone began to ring.

Glancing at the caller ID, he chuckled and handed the phone to Sabrina.

Upon seeing the caller ID, Sabrina smiled and greeted the caller, saying,

"Shandra, do you have my money ready?"

Shandra, seething with anger on the other end of the line, responded in a furious tone,

"Sabrina, let me speak with Robin."

"Wrong number. You can only call this number after you pay me the 500k. Until then, don't call this number again," Sabrina firmly stated.

She was a nightmare to Shandra, and her possessive attitude was unbearable.

Shandra couldn't stand it and said, "Robin doesn't know that you have his phone. If he finds out, don't you think it would ruin your reputation and make him see you as desperate?" Shandra asked from the other end of the line.

Sabrina smiled and asked Robin, putting the phone on speaker mode.

"My King, do you want to speak to a girl named Shandra?"

Robin's heart skipped a beat when she called him her King, even though he knew she was only doing it to upset Shandra.

He couldn't help but feel excited about it and replied,

"My queen, I won't speak to anyone without your permission."

Sabrina asked Shandra mockingly, "Did you hear that?"

Shandra had heard Robin's voice saying those words and was greatly annoyed by how Sabrina managed to manipulate him into doing whatever she wanted.

"Sabrina..."

Shandra was about to say something, but Sabrina hung up the call, and both she and Robin laughed.

"You're handling things well. I think she'll give up," Robin said appreciatively, but Sabrina had doubts.

If someone like Zayla could go to great lengths to keep them apart, what wouldn't Shandra do, especially considering her father was a Mafia Kingpin?

I doubt she would. Women like that don't give up easily," Sabrina said thoughtfully. Robin feared that she would grow tired of women popping up here and there.

He asked her, "I hope you won't give up on me."

An amused smile played on Sabrina's lips as she replied,

"Friends stand up for each other, right?"

Robin frowned and asked, "Are we still just friends?"

He felt that they had surpassed that level, especially since they had shared kisses. Normal friends don't share kisses, do they?

Sabrina had an amused look on her face but chose not to answer his question. Instead, she said,

"I didn't get the chance to thank you for saving my life."

Robin knew she was avoiding the question and decided not to push further.

However, when he remembered that she had agreed to go on both trips with him, he couldn't help but smile, knowing what he had planned for her.

"It is my responsibility, my queen. I would have never forgiven myself if anything had happened to you," Robin said sincerely.

Sabrina smiled but didn't say anything more. She knew he had secretly looked out for her, so he couldn't possibly be lying to her.

They continued their journey in a comfortable silence.

At the villa, Margaret greeted them at the entrance, pleasantly surprised to see Sabrina with Robin.

The security man at the gate had followed them with their bags from the hospital, which Margaret took upstairs.

"Welcome home, Madam and Sir," she said, arranging the items in the bag in the closet and carrying the used one with her to the laundry room.

"Thank you, Margaret. Do we have enough groceries at home?" Sabrina asked, her usual soft smile now bright and attractive, devoid of any pain.

Robin shook his head, not wanting Sabrina to be stressed out because of her pregnancy.

"Please don't, my queen. If you won't let me cook, then let's order from the chef. Please don't stress yourself," he said softly, shocking Margaret.

Not only did Robin refer to Sabrina as his queen, but he also didn't want her to cook because he feared it would stress her out.

Sabrina gently patted Robin on the back and said soothingly, "Don't worry, just rest and let me take care of it."

She glanced at Margaret, who nodded in agreement. "There are enough groceries, ma'am."

"Okay," Sabrina said, and after ensuring that Robin was comfortable, she went to the kitchen.1

In a dimly lit room, a frail woman was tied to a torture chair. Her appearance was disheartening as she remained in the darkness.

When a bright light was turned on, she instinctively shut her eyes tightly, trying to avoid the rays.

Hearing the sound of tapping shoes, she grew afraid, thinking it was that monstrous general again. But when she heard the voice, her heart rate quickened with excitement.

"Mara, Mara, you never stay out of trouble."
