[Bonus chapter]Chapter 230 – Timely arrivals
3"Brina, don't you want to go with us? Robin is already waiting at the party," Devin said and Sabrina's frown deepened.2
She did not have the understanding that Robin's allowing Zayla to come to her party meant he was going to come with her but this was obviously the situation right now.
"With Zayla right?"
Devin pursed his lips but did not answer the question since he knew that was the case and rather spoke to her assuringly,
"It's your day and we are all there. Nobody would be able to ruin your mood."
Sabrina sighed. The only person who used to ruin her mood in such events before was Robin so she had no idea what to expect right now.
"I hope he keeps his promise to not see her again after the party," she murmured under her breath, not knowing that they heard her but luckily no one commented on her words, whether good or bad.
From another side, Kennedy Chance received a text message from Zayla.
'He sent his best friend to take care of you.'
Kennedy Chance frowned when he received the message since he expected Robin to give him at least 100k for shopping with a personal driver.
How shameful it would be for his best friend to bring him the money.
Kennedy was not happy about this but when his mind drove to the main item on the list, which was the five million, he tolerated it.
Hearing the knock on the door, he went to open it and saw a tall handsome man smiling at him with a big box in his hand.
"Good evening, sir, my name is Daniel Root, Robin's best friend. He asked me to bring this to you and to also be your chauffeur at the party."
Daniel's smile warmed Kennedy's heart and he took the box from him.
"Thank you. I already showered so please come in and have a seat. I will soon get ready for us to set off."
Daniel accepted his invitation since he was not going to leave him anyway.
In less than twenty minutes, Kennedy was ready and looking all handsome.
"You look very handsome, sir," Daniel pronounced whilst cursing the middle-aged man in his mind.
The only thing that kept encouraging him was the fact that Robin had something nasty planned for the middle-aged man.
"Thank you, son, you look good too," he smiled and spoke.
"If you are ready, then we can set off," Daniel rose to his feet and said politely.
"Okay," the middle-aged man agreed and followed him to his car.

At the Crystal Hotel, all the staff members were very busy because this event directly involved their boss.
The auditorium was well-lit with chandeliers and fancy lights all over.
The music was calming and there were waiters and waitresses everywhere in their neatly pressed uniforms and aprons.
There were also round tables for six or more with a large cake in the middle of the auditorium.
The table for the birthday woman was exceptionally decorated and could also accommodate at least twelve people.
Guests were welcomed at the entrance with smiley waiters and a glass of champagne, even before they stepped into the auditorium.
However, the security was also very tight.
The general alighted from his car with his bodyguards and was led to his reserved table whilst other guests arrived.
The next person to arrive among other guests was Cobby who was ushered to his reserved table which he shared with the general.
It was also capable of taking four more and the general was hoping that perhaps his daughter would share the table with him but since Cobby arrived, he was already very comfortable.
The two men did not even like parties but came on Robin's invitation which they could not refuse.
The two middle-aged men instantly recapped old times and began chatting over glasses of champagne, though there were other drinks.
Most people who knew the general would go and greet him, the same as Cobby.
At the entrance of the hotel, the media houses sent representatives upon Robin's invitation but were also under strict restrictions.
They were only supposed to report on what was permitted as such they were not allowed to interview anyone according to their preferences.
Daniel arrived with Kennedy. He got out of his car and opened the door for the middle-aged man before the valet came for his key and drove the car away.
They only took a step when another car pulled over and Robin stepped out.
He was trying to pretend to be the perfect gentleman but it wasn't working, as he did not want any picture of him and Zayla to start going viral since it would increasingly upset Sabrina.
As such it was hard to keep up the pretense so, instead of going to open the door for Zayla, he went to hug Daniel and since Kennedy missed his daughter, he went to open the door for her and hugged her.
Robin gave his key to the valet when a Lexus Jeep pulled over.
An unfamiliar man alighted from the car and Robin frowned a little but when he went round to open the door for the woman in the passenger seat, Robin relaxed.
"Aria, you look stunning."
Aroa smiled shyly,
"Thank you, sir, and you look dashing. Please meet my husband, Benedict." Aria was all smiles as she introduced her husband.
Robin was happy that she wore a dress that did not hide her bump and she looked more relaxed and comfortable.
"Nice meeting you," Robin greeted Aria's husband and the latter responded a little timidly,
"The pleasure is mine."
Aria and her husband made their way into the auditorium but Robin was not sure if Sabrina already arrived.
He was about to ask Daniel about it when he saw a limited-edition Bentley driving in.
He sent that car to Devin because all of Devin's cars were two-seaters so he knew that Sabrina was in the car.
Devin alighted, frowned at the people there, and went around to open the back door first.
Matilda and Lizzy alighted one after the other and Daniel hugged Lizzy, kissing her briefly on the lips, her cheeks pinked whilst Devin went around to open the door for Sabrina.
As soon as Sabrina alighted from the car, exuding glamor, the media surrounded her the moment Devin turned around to give his car key to the valet forgetting the rules to not ask anyone questions without permission.
