Was her father the reason why Robin's behavior changed towards her? She could not understand Robin's request especially when her mother had given up on her and her father was all she had. 

She loved Robin but she also loved her father. He was the only one who understood her. 

Lost in thoughts, Robin saw her reluctance and mocked himself internally for how foolish he had been. 

How could he not see even if he did not know the truth about the donor?

Sabrina left everything for him. All she wanted was his happiness but he threw it all away for a lie. 

Robin felt vile as he skimmed at Zayla standing in front of him. 

This plan of his was not going to work because Zayla was not ready to choose him over her father when Robin chose her over Sabrina.

"I understand that you love your father very much, even more than me." He hinted at the even more than me part and saw guilt flash in her eyes.

He continued to speak indifferently, "I just thought that just as Sabrina left everything for me, you would be able to do the same, especially when you already told me that you gave me one of your kidneys."

Robin was very selective of his words, not speaking with certainty, it made Zayla feel trapped in her lies. 

If she indeed loved him as she claimed, then it should not be hard for her to let go of everything for him but what about Robin, would he leave his ex-wife for her?

At the thought of Sabrina, Zayla was embittered once again but since she had still not found a way to get the diamonds, she began to think fast to not make it seem as if that was indeed all she was interested in.

"Robin, my father is in police custody. He needs me now more than you do. You already have Sabrina."

She intentionally mentioned Sabrina to lift the guilt from her chest since Robin would not deny her for the fact that she was carrying his child. 

It was as if Robin was waiting for her to make the comparison between herself and Sabrina, and already had a ready answer for her,

"Sabrina never went to visit any of her family when we lived together. I was all she cared about. Whether any member of her family was sick or even on the verge of death, she only cared about me. Can you do the same?"

Robin was extremely calm, surprised by how he was able to hold in the bitterness he felt to make it seem as if he held nothing against her but gratitude.

"Yes. I am going back to the penthouse. Will you be home today?" Zayla said and asked, which meant that she had taken her decision, choosing Robin and not going to see her father anymore. 

She would not be able to bail him out anyway since she did not have the money.

Also, if she made Robin happy, who knows, he might just increase her wages. Putting all these together, she felt like she made the right decision.

Robin smiled. Now he would see the person who would bail out the old fox.

"There is so much to be done so I'm not sure. Anyway, I have a surprise for you so I will come over to give it to you."

Hearing about a surprise, Zayla was happy. She tucked a lock of hair behind her ears.

"Okay. Take care, Robin."

When Robin went to pick Sabrina up that evening, he had dinner at her mansion and took her for a thirty-minute walk. 

Sabrina did not like his presence, refusing to speak to him but Robin did not mind.

She was worth his patience since he was the cause of the pain she was going through. 

On his way back to the office, he received a call from Daniel. 

"Robin, I got the fake diamonds. Can you believe I had to pay 30k for them?" 

Daniel could not understand the reason why a fake should be so expensive but remembering the content of the letter that stated that the cost of the original amounted to trillions, maybe it was worth it.

"Good. I already promised Zayla that I have a surprise for her and the note is ready too. I will transfer the money to you," Robin smiled and spoke. 

Once he can clear the conception of any existing diamonds, he could go ahead with his plans.

"I can't wait to see her end. Forget the money for as long as it's meant to bring the bitch down," Daniel chuckled from the end of the line. 

The corner of Robin's lips twitched. "That would be on Sabrina's birthday."

He hoped to win her love before then but if not, then he would still have no choice but to let her know that he knew the truth about her anonymous donation.

"Don't you have any plans for Sabrina?" Daniel asked in amusement. Robin smiled at the mention of his plans for Sabrina.

"A lot. I'm driving to your house to get the fake diamonds."

"Alright, see you."

Robin drove to the office to pick up the letter before going to Daniel's penthouse to pick up the fake diamonds. 

With a smile, he drove to his penthouse. Zayla was excited that he came and after just two days without the cleaners coming to clean the penthouse, Zayla looked as if she had been overworked. 

Robin did not care about the state of the house because as soon as he was through with his revenge, he planned on refurbishing and selling it.

He did not want to carry the memory of a house he once shared with an evil woman like Zayla.

"Robin, you came," Zayla smiled for the first time since yesterday. She was also careful to not get too close to him because of his recent mood swings.
