Chapter 131 – None can escape Robin’s eagle eyes.
After causing a mess, she thought she could run away. And why didn't any waiter bring Sabrina food until Zayla distracted their dance? Robin had some questions to ask her.0
Zayla was not stupid. She knew that Robin found her actions suspicious though she was genuinely upset and thought of finding a way of making him feel guilty.
"Robin, you already brought Sabrina so I'm not staying and for your punishment, I'm staying at my parent's house for a few days."
Robin felt like he just heard the world's greatest joke. Did Zayla speak to him like that? Before he could say anymore, she ran out.
Robin whispered to Daniel since he knew how to find Zayla, "Please hack the cameras. I want to know the last person this waitress spoke to."
"Now you are ruining my moment," Daniel frowned since he was enjoying his time with Lizzy.
"Please," Robin begged. He knew that Daniel was trying to build a love life but Sabrina was pregnant, for which reason she was more important at the moment.
Daniel could not refuse him anyway. He was just teasing Robin earlier because he always liked Sabrina and the fact that Robin was doing it for her, he wanted to get it fast. Sitting down, he brought out a small gadget.
"Lizzy, please come and sit here," Daniel beckoned Lizzy whiles Robin said to the waitress,
"Sit down and eat the food." The waitress paled instantly but Robin had already yanked her to the chair and stood behind her.
"Robin, what is going on?" Devin asked behind him. Sabrina had told him about the food when he went to see her so he instantly rushed down.
Robin was not sure if he was there to help or cause trouble but since it involved Sabrina, he said seriously,
"If you want to help, then let this waitress eat the food she gave to your sister."
Devin realized there was indeed a problem as Sabrina had said. He sat on the next chair beside the waitress and said seriously,
"Hey, I can force it down your throat unless you have something to say."
In a corner, Martin observed everything and his heart felt uneasy. Without anyone seeing him, he left the party, just as anonymously as he came.
Mara had encouraged him to come, so he would see Robin and Sabrina. It worked because the more he saw Robin caring for Sabrina so much, the more he felt that he did not stand a chance and that all his years of waiting were in vain.
Martin loved Sabrina and he just had to think of other means to have her, even if it would hurt her.
"I'm sorry, Devin, but your sister was mine the moment I saw her," he murmured in his mind, as she settled on his plan. He no longer cared if he lost his friendship with Devin, as long as he would have Sabrina by his side.
"Please, I….I was paid handsomely to put something in the food. They said it would make her sleep," the waiter stammered, as the back of her eyes brimmed with tears.
"Sleeping is not a bad idea. So, eat it," Devin insisted.
The waitress began to sweat. What made her think that these men would believe her lame excuse that it was something to make her sleep? She was aware that it was poison.
The effect would not begin instantly but she was sure that she would die when she got home because the woman said there was no antidote.
"Please, I am not hungry," the waiter begged Devin since he looked softer than Robin. He was even engaged to the general's daughter and should be able to understand right?
"Tell you what, I can be a gentleman but I can also be a rogue when it comes to my woman or either of my sisters. I don't care that you are a woman. I will beat the shit out of you."
"Hey, she is your sister?" The waitress did not know. She did not even know that Sabrina's ex-husband still cared.
She was told that everything was worked out and that as soon as Zayla took the man's attention away, she should serve the woman's food.
How could she have known that she was dealing with a high-profile family? She was not ready to die yet.
"If you don't want to eat the food, you can tell us who gave the sleeping drug to you and you shall be free to go," Devin spoke calmly to not scare her, so she'd spill everything but the girl was not ready to do so.
"She would kill me if I did and she would kill my family too," the waitress began to cry pitifully.
"And you can also die by eating this food. If it was just a sleeping drug, I don't think it would be a problem for you to eat it."
Devin was trying so hard to hold it in, it took everything in him to not give her the first slap in the face.
While Devin was dealing with her, Daniel sent a video to Robin's phone and his eyes darkened. "It's her."
He recognized Mara from the pictures and was surprised to see that she was so bold that she did not even hide her face. The bitch could also walk. Robin was so furious.
"Can you track her whereabouts?" He asked seriously but Daniel shook his head and responded in a whisper. Since Devin was Martin's best friend, they kept issues involving Mara from him.
"As soon as she stepped out, everything about her was gone." Daniel laughed and Robin asked,
"What is it?"
"They are trying to clean up the cameras here. I will grant them access since we have everything we need. They would think they won but I would find that hacker," Daniel said confidently.
Lizzy was his motivation and he was determined to battle this hacker once again.
Robin believed him so he said to Devin, "Please take care of your sisters and don't leave their side. We shall take care of the bitch. I will feed her this food."
For watching Sabrina, Devin agreed as much as he wanted to teach the bitch a lesson himself. "Lizzy, don't forget our date," Daniel winked at Lizzy before carrying the plate of food while Robin dragged the waitress along with them.
