Robin would have told Sabrina. Even if not openly because of Devin, then in private. But she was pregnant and it would not be right for her to have panic attacks in the fear of someone being after her life.  1

Robin had already made the mistake of hinting to her at the party to be careful and not eat anything. 

His only ambition now was to clear that on her mind, so she wouldn't live in fear. Behind her back, he would deal with her enemies.

"She won't talk. It's the reason why she ate the food and she looked fine when we let her go." 

Anyone should be able to interpret Robin's words to mean there was no poison as he perceived but not Devin.

"It means that somebody wants my sister dead. What if it's that stupid girlfriend of yours," Devin said.

Robin was very annoyed by Devin's presence and words but tried his best to endure it for Sabrina's sake. 

"Leave Zayla to me," Robin responded casually. He already had in mind to question Zayla as well since her actions were a bit suspicious. As such, he did not need Devin to remind him.

"Robin, is it Zayla? You are covering up for her," Sabrina accused him in a disappointed tone, Robin's heart ached, but he still felt that he deserved everything that was happening to him. 

If he had not been frequenting the club, he would not have gotten drunk that night and all these would not have happened.

The only good thing that came out of it was the child, for which reason he kept convincing himself that it was all for good and nothing was lost. 

Still, he did not want Sabrina to be upset and said honestly to her, "Sabrina, if it's Zayla, I would not think twice before putting her behind bars. Don't worry about anything."

Sabrina doubted if Robin could put Zayla behind bars but did not voice it. Devin did not trust any word Robin spoke and said in a disenchanted tone,

"I should have taken care of the girl while you took care of Sabrina."

"How would you have prevented your sister from eating at the party in case there was something in the food?" Robin asked sarcastically. For anything involving Mara or Martin, Robin saw Devin as a fool and could never trust him with it.

Robin loved and trusted Daniel but should he hear a bad rumor about him, though he would not believe it, he would still investigate to prove to himself that he was right in trusting his best friend but Devin was a direct polar of Robin, for which reason they could not get along.

"Wait, did you get a hint?"

Devin caught the puzzle in Robin's words and asked. He felt that Robin knew a lot of things but refused to tell him, which got him suspicious and angry.

Robin wanted to just be around Sabrina for a while but also realized that for as long as he stayed, Devin would not stop asking stupid questions. As such, he said,

"I will leave you to take care of your sister. I'm going to ask Zayla some questions because I warned her to not come to the party. I doubt it would be her anyway."

He did not want to make it obvious that he was avoiding Devin's questions, thereby terming it that way but Devin was still on his throat with a new set of questions.

"If it's not her, then who? Who else hates my sister except her?" Devin asked and even Daniel was annoyed, he dropped his cutlery and just stared at Devin. 

Matilda saw the exchanges between Robin and Daniel, thereby concluding that indeed, there was more and Robin did not want to tell Devin.

She felt so sorry for Devin because whatever Robin was keeping from him must have been of great help to him somehow.

"Devin, I guess you should open your eyes wider and ask your best friend some questions about his family," Robin said in annoyance. 

It was his way of giving Devin the chance to use his brain after seeing the determination in his eyes to get revenge on whoever attempted anything on Sabrina's life but once again, he proved to be a brainwashed idiot.

"Martin has no family."

Robin was done. He was going to do this with Daniel's help and that was all there was to it. Devin could go to hell for all he cared. 

"So be it. Daniel, let's go."

Robin was already up on his feet when he turned to Sabrina, smiled, and said, "Dear one, I will see you in the morning. Do you have any special requests for breakfast?"

Sabrina smiled at the sound of breakfast but since her stomach was already full, she did not have any cravings at the moment, thereby saying, 

"I will call the chef to inform him in the morning."

Robin was glad she did not rebuke him again when he called her 'dear one,' feeling that she was beginning to accept it. 

"That is good. Matilda, Lizzy, good night."

"Good night, Robin," the two women chorused whiles Daniel said to Lizzy,

"Gorgeous Lizzy, I will call you."

Lizzy blushed and said, "Okay."

When she said okay, Daniel felt his heart tickle but did not want to disturb her sleep since he had a lot to do before going home and changed the mode of communication.

"I will text you tonight," Daniel winked and Lizzy smiled shyly, "I will be sleeping," she quickly regained herself and responded when Devin glared at her. 

He was afraid that Lizzy was indeed falling for another playboy and that was not going down well with Devin.

He wanted to prove his father wrong that Daniel would not stand a chance with Lizzy but the girl was disappointing him. Robin was enough trouble so why should Daniel add to it?

"You better don't mess with my sister," Devin warned seriously before turning to the ladies, "are you all ready to go?"

"Yes," they chorused before Matilda said, "Let's say bye to Dad."
