Zayla already knew that Devin was always there to protect Sabrina, but her father might know more than she did, for which reason she was ready to take this up.0

"Poison. It would not take effect immediately but only after she goes home, so by then, everything would be wiped from the cameras. The poison would also disappear from her system as soon as she dies, and doctors would not be able to detect it even during autopsy."

Zayla's heart warmed. It was not the bloody thing she thought about it. This would be a simple and clean murder with no traces. This was a perfect solution, now that Sabrina was confirmed pregnant for Robin. 

Zayla was not going to share Robin with the bitch. "I will get someone to do it."

"Mara already has someone. She only needs you to cause a distraction," her father stated, and Zayla was a little confused.

"How?" She was now listening attentively to everything her father was saying.

"Robin will be at the party this Saturday."

Another shocker had Zayla paling from the revelation. It was unbelievable since Robin went to most places with her. It was the reason she believed he loved her when he said it because he never took Sabrina out throughout their marriage.

"But he didn't tell me about it."

"This means he does not plan to go with you because he doesn't want to hurt Sabrina. The woman he loves is carrying his child, so she has an advantage over you," her father remarked. 

Zayla felt the emptiness and the loser's siren so close, it demoralized her.

"Then what do I do?" Anxiety laced her voice while she asked.

Her father leaned in and whispered something into her ears. Zayla smiled instantly before her father said, 

"Zayla, I can't pay those doctors anymore, but I managed to get these. You have to make him believe that you already went today."

As Zayla looked at the fake documents, she smiled, "Thank you, Dad."

"And Zayla, I'm afraid because you are not smart." Her father observed and spoke.

All this while, she lived under the same roof with a man she loved, and could not even seduce him. Also, she could not convince Robin to clear her father's debts which would have been just a drop of water in the ocean, considering Robin's net worth.

"What are you talking about?" Zayla asked with confusion. It hurt her every time her father complained that she was not smart, but he always had a good reason for it.

"For three months of pregnancy, there should be a little bump by now. Here, I got this for you." He gave her a fake bump. At the same time, a cold female voice said behind them, 

"So, you are not pregnant?"

Her mother had woken up to pee when she realized she could not hear the voice of the tv, but her husband was speaking to someone. 

She thought it was a phone conversation, but as she leaned against the door, she realized that the voice was her daughter and joined them.

Since the father and daughter always hide things from her, she saw this as a perfect opportunity to dig out exactly what they were hiding this time, thereby eavesdropping on their conversation earlier. 

Zayla panicked, but her father responded to his wife coldly, "Stay out of it."

Zayla's mother has never supported their actions and decisions, so he did not deem it necessary to throw light on anything to make her understand. The woman was adamant due to the fear of losing her family if things went out of hand.

"If Robin finds out, your blood would not be enough to pay. Let's leave now. Let's go to Florida. I have some relatives there. Leave Robin a letter saying that you are not pregnant," she earnestly advised.

Knowing that a man like Robin could divorce his wife because of the hope of having a child with another woman, hell would break loose if he found out the opposite.

Zayla's father laughed and said, "If you want to leave, then go alone. Mara gave me a lot of money." He brought out bundles of cash, causing both the mother and daughter's eyes to widen. 

Zayla realized it was the reason why her father was in a very good mood when she arrived earlier.

Her mother was not greedy for gain, but since they had more than enough, it would be good for them to settle in a quiet place and start life all over. 

"Good. I will book our flights, so we leave first thing in the morning."

Her husband glared at her coldly. Robin was a goldmine, so why should he leave when he hadn't succeeded in getting anything? 

The only person blocking his progress at the moment was Sabrina, and now that he had a perfect plan to eliminate her, what more could go wrong?

"Book your flight alone. With Mara on our side, we shall win against Sabrina."

"Oh, Frank, you are so foolish. Deceit never wins against honesty. Sabrina is an honest woman, for which reason she still stands tall even after all Zayla did to her." 

She recalled when Zayla was friends with Sabrina in high school that Zayla always talked about how good Sabrina was to her. 

The moment she heard about Robin and saw him, jealousy grew as a weed in her heart. From then on, all she talked about was how bad Sabrina was.

"Mom, are you sure you are my mother?"

Zayla was surprised and annoyed at how her mother described Sabrina as a woman of integrity and she a woman of dishonesty.

"If I wasn't, I would not be telling you the truth. Sabrina is a good woman, and you are only destroying yourself. Be good, and God will bless you with a good man of your own," her mother advised, but Zayla was angry and yelled,

"I only want Robin."

Her mother looked at her and shook her head, "Then you will die young."

"Get out, Francisca. Take this money and leave whenever you want." Her husband threw two bundles of cash at her while he yelled. 

Francisca took the money and asked him,

"Who will cook your meals? You don't have maids anymore." 

She was trying to remind him of his present condition but only succeeded in making him angrier.

"I will order takeouts. Now get out!" Frank yelled.
