Chapter 96 - Robin's request from Sabrina
Robin never knew that he would be caught up in a situation whereby he would be forced to confess to Sabrina, but right now, he did not want her to feel annoyed by his presence and the reason why he would not be able to give her what she wanted.0
"Sabrina, I never intended to disrespect you, but I was drunk when I slept with Zayla."
Sabrina let out a humorless chuckle and retorted, "But you were not drunk before sleeping with other women."
With Sabrina questioning his sexual life like that, Robin could not help being ashamed. He also understood that his sexual life in the past hurt her a lot, and she had buried them all inside her heart. Somehow, he felt good that she was letting them all out.
"Yes. But if I was in my right mind, I would have used a condom. Zayla is carrying my child, so I can't just cut her off. You are also carrying my child, so you can't be away from me."
Subtly, he was not letting any of them go. Sabrina shook her head as her words suddenly felt heavy in her mouth.
"No, like, what are you saying?" She asked, trying to understand his stand better before making a decision.
Robin looked her in the eyes and said seriously,
"Sabrina, you have to move in with me."
"Never!" Sabrina yelled. Then she went on to explain, "The same house you share with Zayla? Robin, it seems that you have no respect for me."
Robin felt guilty. If not for the jealousy he felt when he saw Sabrina with Devin before knowing he was her brother and now Martin, he would not have understood what she was going through, but now that he did, he was ready to meet her halfway.
"So, what do you suggest? Because I want to be a part of my child's life. I want to be there every step of the way for him or her."
Since he was not being all domineering anymore, Sabrina thought of a way to make it work because, indeed, it would be impossible to kick Robin completely out of her life.
"The best I can do is to allow you to visit after the child is born."
Robin laughed, but it was not a happy one. When he stopped laughing, he looked her in the eyes and said seriously,
"It's not enough. If you are carrying my child, then you are equally my responsibility."
"I have my family, and I don't need you to take care of me," Sabrina stated her stand. She assumed that he had forgotten about her family, for which reason he asked her to move in with him, but how would he even take care of her? Will he cook? Clean? Sabrina could not imagine the care he kept talking about.
"I am the father of the child you are carrying, so yes, I have to take care of you, whether you like it or not," Robin said seriously.
Sabrina was at a loss. She should have left this city after the divorce, and now she regrets staying back and thinking he won't find out.
"So, what are you gonna do? Because I am not moving in with you."
Seeing her seriousness, Robin tried to find a way to be a part of her life. "You know very well, Sabrina, that if I had known that you were pregnant, I would not have agreed to divorce you."
"That is why I hid it from you," she confessed. Then she added, "The same day I found out was the day you brought Zayla, so please don't blame me."
Since they were both at fault, Robin could not be angry with her. He arrived at a decision, wondering how she was going to take it.
"Now this is my term. If you are not going to move in with me, then I will have to see you every morning, afternoon, and evening."
Sabrina laughed, feeling like this was the most absurd thing she ever heard from a man like Robin.
"Is that how often you see Zayla?"
Robin did not like the way she kept bringing Zayla into everything, figuring that she wanted to make him upset.
"Forget about Zayla, this is between me and you."
"I don't want to see you three times a day. I can endure one," Sabrina retorted.
When she was trying to avoid seeing him once every two weeks, things had even worsened with her having to deal with him in her life every day.
Robin did not think that seeing her once a day was enough and said seriously, "Then we leave it at morning and evening. I have to see that you are fine before I go to bed and also in the morning before I arrive at the office."
Sabrina was feeling miserable. Her only mistake was loving Robin and agreeing to marry him when she knew that he did not love her. Now she felt trapped because even after a divorce, she still could not be away from him.

"Do I have a choice in this matter?"
"Sorry, you don't," Robin stated calmly. This was his chance to watch her closely, so that that crazy Mara would not hurt her.
He also had the chance to kick Martin out of Sabrina's life which was all good for him.
Sabrina could not fight it anymore. She had lost her strength and succumbed, "Fine. You can go."
Unfortunately for her, Robin had other plans. "You came to the hospital so I will stay and hear what is wrong with you." He did not wait for her response before calling the doctor.
"What is wrong with her?" He asked the doctor who had returned with the lab results.
"I just got the test result. It's an infection so we have to admit her for three days to administer the IVs. Due to her condition, oral medication will not be safe," the doctor explained.
Sabrina was about to call Devin when Robin said, "Alright. Do what you must. I will stay with her."
