36: Mudblood.

Author: Shinoera Word Count: 21461 Updated: 2025-04-08 21:24:44

Mudblood.

By all that is holly, I summon me.

Yes, it's me. Do you believe it? I thought I was blocked with my job as a screenwriter and dialogue writer for months, but I couldn't "keep up," it was only half my thing. I ended up imploding because of the need to continue this story and all other fics I want to share with you guys, like the League of Legends story I planned a while ago, but also an X-Men/Marvel one that I worked on during the months I wasn't here, and another one I might want to work on first, about mythologies and stuff, based on Shuumatsu no Valkyrie. I'll see how it goes.

From now on, I need to go back to my usual schedule from almost 6 months ago, so you might not have a chapter every day right off the bat, but I'll do my best to be as productive as I can be. I hope you'll be happy about what's to come.

And happy new year to y'all. Wish that people's awareness, in general, will increase in 2022.

"You… want some of my blood, eh…" soughed Felix by moving back to be able to retaliate, fixing the strange blushing girl who fled his gaze.

—As she is right now, I'm not sure what she's looking for… Coming here alone. It all seems so stupid I can't believe she's here for trying to kill me. If she wanted to, she could have done it way before, but she didn't even if she was hidden in the apartment for that long. She wants something else, huh… and for me to not feel her presence, she might be a perfect spy… or a cunning idiot. Whatever she is.

"Come on, talk. You're just creepy now, looking at me with those snaky yellow eyes of yours," Felix said with a bit more punch than before as Himiko's irises glitter in the dark like the eyes of a cat.

Felix's words made the crazed girl yelp quietly; she seemed to try to mutter something but stopped her lips from moving, fighting herself from doing something. Only a second of hesitation and Felix has sleepy as he still is, managed to escape from her path as she stepped quickly in front of him, fanning a large knife toward his throat.

She tried her best to reach him, but since she weakly limped, Felix had no problem dodging her second jab. Instead of blocking her, knocking her out, or calling the cops, he grabbed her wrist with his left hand and used his second hand to twist her elbow in the opposite direction of the joint, making her drop the knife. Not knowing if she had any other weapons on her, he took advantage of the momentum to swing his leg towards her ankles to make her fall headfirst.

She tried to get up as swiftly as possible, eyes wide open, but her head slammed violently into the door handle, causing her to fall back to the floor as she held the top of her head with a tear emerging from the corner of her right eye.

"Argh… Ite-te…"

"Look at you now. You're shaming yourself." Felix uttered while blocking her arm and leg with a firm grip. That said, he knew she would be able to break free soon enough. "Why the fuck are you doing this?"

"Well…" she started, ignoring his question. "I figured you were training with pros, but you're quite a fast learner, Felix! Don't you agree? This isn't normal at all!" she exclaimed with a smile distorted between excitation and pain.

"I don't know you, but it seems like you know me more than I would like to."

"I'm never wasting time on a guy that I have no interest in, you know."

"Should I be happy about that?" Felix blatantly inquired, looking at the knife far away on the ground, a knife she could also see from where she was lying. "I guess we both know the answer. And to think that someone spied on me that much… Were you the one following me inside the police station and during my whole time here?"

"No, no! I'm not stupid enough to jump into the lion's den. Doing this would have been the last goodbye to my freedom. I was here in your apartment only from time to time! Old Giran needed me for some service in exchange for blood bags, I swear!"

"I see…" He whispered, thinking of what could keep an eye on him other than her. "I heard some policemen saw you around during the last weeks; seems like they were right."

"Hm? These policemen are laaaame." Toga said with a somehow exasperated grumble. "They can't even find some random Yakuzas, so imagine finding me when even Mirko can't keep up with my pace."

"Don't be too cocky; Mirko went easy on your sorry ass. Heroes try to keep the villain in one piece, especially when these villains are from a wealthy family or need to be shown on TV for whatever reason. You're the first case in this scenario."

Toga giggled for a bit, a slight smile almost nostalgic on her face; she didn't try to move that much; she was just there on the cold floor next to the bed, the moonlight lighting the room as the waterdrops continued to hit the windows. She didn't seem to have any other weapon on her; she only came here with a single knife—a kitchen knife belonging to Felix.

"Between you and Mirko, it's true that you're the one who hit harder." She continued while trying to move on the floor. "It still hurt a bit."

"What did you expect? You were trying to kill me." He said while sending some lovely hormones inside her system.

"I didn't expect anything… From what I can remember, you're the first one who landed a shot on me. Or who dared to hit me that hard." she paused while a perverted smile appeared on her face. "That was exciting in many ways."

"Yeah?" He interjected, raising an eyebrow.

"If I compare you to these 'experienced' policemen and mobsters who tried to catch me not because they need to, but because I have a bounty hanging over my head, that was an appreciable experience, eh eh."

"I have trouble understanding what you mean by that."

"I mean, their blood eventually irrigated the street gutters, but here it was my blood! Not someone else blood!" Toga exclaimed with a proud nod. "Even though I am young, I know my own strengths and weaknesses. Killing, escaping, going unnoticed are part of these strengths, but it's not enough to get you."

"Glad to see that you're ready and okay to talk." He responded by releasing her, still on his guard. "I was worried I would have to kick you in the face once again."

"Not interested in talking, gimme your blood!"

"Jesus." Seeing her trying to get up with difficulty, he decided to solve the problem now. Better taking care of the issue directly with the solution he has in mind. What is the point of having a quirk like this if he doesn't use it after all? "You won't heal up if you always push yourself too much. You can't even walk straight. Let me help you, and then, we can talk about my blood."

Despite these words, she still tried to get up and walk towards him. Now unarmed, her fangs looked much more threatening, whereupon Felix took her in his arms and yeeted her like a potato sack onto the bed.

Surprised, she squealed but landed on a mattress that was softer than the ones at her home, the home she had run away from and much more soothing than the dusty motel and squats where she spent her nights sometimes under the rain. Here, her back and vertebrae pains that she had for ages because of the fights against mobsters or random weirdos were dissipating.

She almost forgot her visceral need for blood, something she could only struggle against for a short time. Vampires hold back much longer if they have never tasted blood before; sadly, this was no longer her case.

"I need… BLOOD!"

"I grasped that, yeah."

"WHY CAN'T I-"

"Shut the fuck up! You're gonna wake up the neighbors!" Felix growled as he walked towards the bed and put his hand in front of her mouth to muffle her shouts. She immediately bit his hand with all her might. "...good job, smartass."

He thought that his skin was flexible and solid enough to resist this kind of attack, but at the sight of the blood which ran on his hand, he was forced to acknowledge it wasn't the case. The young woman's canine seemed as sharp as razors, without counting her jaw strength. Thankfully his abilities were already far more potent than before, and he succeeded without too much worry to open her mouth with his second hand.

"Stop acting like a stupid freak. Goddamn… women these days…" he pestered, looking at his hand, eyebrows furrowed. "I was nice till now; try not to change this."

"I'm a stupid freak?"

"Because you're acting like a beast, yeah. Even if I didn't say no about giving you my blood." He sighed with a slight frown as he tried to look her in the eyes while she fled his irises. "Anyway… your knee seems to be broken."

"And whose fault is that?" The vampire girl inquired with a slight smirk, moving her body from left to right to scratch her back against the bed. "As a reminder, you twisted my knee backward, and even my face was bloody back then because of Mirko's kick. I was pretty cute thanks to that!"

"'Pretty cute…?' Are you a sado-masochist?" He asked, still baffled by the young woman's behavior.

"I love blood."

"No shit. So… can you move, or are you already paralyzed?"

"Paralyzed…? So you know what's happening to me! What have you done to me? I feel like… I haven't slept for days…"

"I haven't done anything to you. As a reminder, you drank my blood; this is your problem now, not mine."

"What do you mean?"

"Just a little bit of it can act like "poison" for someone with normal metabolism."

"Poison?! I will die… or…? I don't want to die; I have… too many dreams… and things to do…"

"Dreams, huh? I can respect that." Felix said with a wicked smile as he looked at her, already thinking about how to toy with her for her creepy behavior. "Well, theoretically, you could die from this "poison," but it would take a long time and would also be excruciating. Not a good way to die. Some old farts in my country could tell you what it's like, but to keep it simple, you could develop ulcers, cancers, worse things, and as a woman, you could have much more painful periods than normal, for example, or pregnancies defects, etc. Sounds like a dream, right?" he continued to explain, avoiding talking about topics that might just scare her even more.

"You can secrete poison…? No… That's not it; you wouldn't be able to do what you're capable of… Not with such a lame quirk."

"Are you attempting to get information about me to get out of your situation? It's not going to happen; you're the one who jumped into the lion's den contrary to what you think, and for the second time. Big time."

"Don't call the cops… Please… Let me go, and I will never come back…"

"Huh? Never come back? My ass. Plus, I don't plan on calling the cops. What would they do? You would elude them the moment they put the handcuffs on you." Felix stated after looking at his wounded hand.

"So… what are you gonna do…?"

"Nothing dramatic, relax. I'm not some kind of degenerate. That's said; now, there's a whole different poison that will keep you awake while others will make you feel sleepy. You're going to have to fight off all those feelings and needs, even cravings, until they wear off. I will do my best to "suck" them out of you. I've been able to do it since I was a kid, so you should be able to do it too." Seeing that she started to flush, Felix sighed quietly, knowing well what would happen during the next thirty minutes, then he advanced his hand toward her and put it on her stomach.

"What are you doing…?~"

"I'm doing as I said; I'm sucking out the poison." Felix half-lied while sending ghrelin, the hunger hormone, from some of her organs so she could feel satiated even without drinking blood. If he removes her appetite for blood, even just for a while, she would probably be more willing to "talk," if you know what I mean.0

It was now a bit too late to try to know if she was really that tired, and the idea of going to the kitchen to prepare some tea to try to earn her trust seemed like a terrible idea. Methods used with old ladies like Recovery Girl to earn trust won't work with people like Toga Himiko.

He didn't know that much about her; neither Tsukauchi nor All Might, the two people he talked to about her to gain a piece of information about her, said to him that they couldn't talk about that. Assuming that's All Might himself had spoken of his secret, this meant that the identity of the young woman in front of Felix shouldn't be revealed to the masses on the same level as a state secret, probably because her family name was important and could undermine the established order one way or another.

On this note, the only person who gave him any information about Himiko was Rumi.

—Talk about solo-carrying. I guess I owe her a dinner and a good dicking.

If the Rabbit Hero hadn't told him, he wouldn't have known the young woman's first or last name, nor her age or any details concerning her runaway but thanks to Rumi, blackmailing someone will be way more accessible now. One needs to use every piece of good stuff he has to achieve what he wants when he's a foreign underdog, even if it's not glorious.

However, Felix still had to manage to "befriend" Toga. One wonders what good ways are still out here for her to come back to her sense and stop being a creep, right?

"Your teeth… Nothing fancier than a vampire girl, huh. If you hadn't cannibalized my hand, I would have called you cute." the ex-con muttered by trying to steal some of her super-hormone to understand what her quirk is. "Can't talk? Guess the poison is a bit too strong for you right now; it will dissipate soon enough now, eventually."

"E-Eventually…?"

"I'm messing with you," Felix admitted with an amused tone. "Unlike me, your body doesn't produce this naturally, so it will act to destroy it as soon as possible; with my help, the process is much faster."

"Most people would have already… called the cops… Why are you helping me?" Toga asked, confused and worried.

"Unusual people with unusual quirks are interesting individuals."

"What do you mean…?"

"Simply mean that you've had my attention since we fought," he explained as he sent some oxytocin, melatonin, and dopamine in her blood. This kind of opportunity comes only once, so better not waste it… even if the idea of having his dick being vampirized or cut by razor-sharp teeth kinda cooled him down; he was heading for it; another ally is another miracle in this country. "I don't know all the intricacies of your quirk, but you have vampire-like qualities; plus, consuming Mirko's blood back then gave you back your strength as well as partially imitating her movements. This is enough for me to give you a part of my trust but not enough for the whole piece."

"W-What are your plans then…?"

"Instead of attacking people like a lunatic, why don't you instead ask people about them giving blood?" Felix asked out of curiosity. "Would be better, right? Or maybe your quirk pushes you to act like a predator?"

"Ask for blood from whom? Even when I drank the blood of a bird, it was already too much for all the delicate souls around me." she coldly stated, without realizing the effects of the hormones started to fade away, but that now her brain would be the last step for the hormones that still had to finish their journeys. The potent cocktail of hormones Felix created for Mirko was starting to overwhelm her brain, nervous system, and cells like nobody on this planet ever felt. "Eww…"

"What?"

"Your blood is like alcohol, and it's way too potent for me to enjoy." Toga winced. "It reminds me of old Giran's booze."

"So my blood is disgusting?"

"Well, I would say that it's more exhilarating… I guess… You're not a mudblood…" she muttered while looking at the other end of the room. "I-I'm zonking, aren't I? The ostrich in front of me isn't real, r-right…? I'm so lightheaded right now… Maybe that's how people who take drugs feel…"

"Well, more or less. I feel pretty much like this all the time, except that I don't hallucinate since my body is adapted to this poison." Felix waited for her to answer, but she remained silent as some part of her body started to flush, even more, demonstrating that the [Love Potion] he created was as potent as he wanted. "What about a deal? I can give you some of my blood from time to time if you want to."

At first, Himiko was a bit puzzled by his proposition, but since her predator instinct didn't feel any signs of malice, she gradually calmed down and thought about the inquiry, lying on the bed, motionless, arms spread out. If she was honest with herself, if she was here tonight, it was to satisfy her primary needs, repressed urges that she no longer wanted to struggle against, either thirst for blood and for… sex, if she spied on Mirko and him, it wasn't for naught. Her libido was off the chart for more than a couple of months now, but she didn't have anyone for that… A selfish quest for one's own happiness at the expense of the misfortune of others. But she had no illusions; everyone thinks and acts like that.

—If you're willing to be hypocritical and selfish to live more comfortably, what's to prevent me from doing the same?

These were the last words she uttered to her parents before she ran away for good and never returned. She had always been told to repress this part of her. Toga's most distant memory about it was of the bird whose blood she had drunk; she must have been 5 years old at most back then. And still today, she had hidden from everyone that drinking the blood of an animal turned her into that same animal.

Something that the cops and even her family didn't know, for them, the only thing possible was her transforming into someone, but if she can imitate the body of people with animalistic features due to their quirks, why not animals? This had given her a real advantage during her entire run. However, here, her urges got her in a pickle…

The obsessive thought of getting Felix's blood for her own pleasure had grown stronger after she spied them in the love hotel. Once the predatory and sexual attraction were coupled, the only thing she could think of was Felix… but to be fair, it started a while ago, when she saw him covered in blood during the Underground Masquerade. Drinking his blood had the opposite effect so that her thirst was no more quenched than before, but worse, even so, her desire for blood had disappeared… Odd…

"I prefer when the blood is fresh…" she murmured by wiggling from left to right on the bed, something getting wetter and wetter each passing second.

"You want to get my blood directly from my body?"

"Yeah… The older the blood, the worse it is, and above all, it can poison me. I am resistant to all blood-related diseases, but that doesn't stop me from being sick…"

"Mh-hm, so it works like the opposite of wine."

"I suppose? Fermented blood smells and tastes awful," she said with a quiet sigh.

"Wait… Have you tried it before?"

"Haha! You're a funny guy! Well! My parents tried animal's blood hoping that it would help me, but it was just gross."

Himiko gazed at Felixwho's, whose expression seemed mixed between pensiveness and a predatory aura, which was something magnetic as a predator herself.

"Seems like you're okay with what I proposed, right?"

"T-This is cute of you to try to help me, but the cops are still after me, and this neighborhood is heavily guarded," she explained with a sadistic smile. "So even if you help me, I'll still be chased, and you could be sent to jail for criminal conspiracy. So-"

"Maybe, but the people I work with promised me one simple wish if I finished one of my missions. I finished two. A promise is a promise. They know what can happen if they refuse to cooperate; they have dug their own grave trying to get me to be 100% committed to their cause. Plus, I could simply threaten to make your name public."

She looked at him with a bewildered gaze, finally understanding that Felix was much deeper into the society's inner cogs than she thought. Even if she didn't know anything about the HPSC, the black ops, or whatever shady stuff the officials or senior diplomat and companies directors are doing, she was smart enough to understand that he was involved in it, probably against his will, given the way he talked about it. Maybe it was her way out?

A way enabling her and allowing her to talk to society as a whole about people like her?

The thought fused through her mind, making her stress increase, but even before she could worry about that, Felix put a hand on her forehead and made her discomfort disappear in a matter of seconds. She didn't know if it was magical or just his presence, but it made her heart waver. Felix, aware of this, didn't push the issue further and simply decided to ask her.

"Want to go further?"

She could run as long as she wanted, her runaway life would get her nowhere, she know it, even if Giran was like a great old brother for her, he wasn't giving her what she was looking for. The old dealer was the perfect ally for anyone, but right now, it wasn't enough. Deep down, she knew that what she needed most wasn't blood but a sense of belonging, so Felix's words set off the fire.

With no idea how to approach what she wanted, her lips articulated a word of approval, her heart racing as Felix smirked proudly before sighing.

"I hope you're ready for a new experience."
