“Yes, Sire!” Kneeling in unison, the group confirmed the order by giving the upmost respect.

“Fourth Elder, you stay behind, I still have something else I want you to do. During this period, if anything else ever happens to my wife and child, you will be held responsible.”

“As you wish,” the young elder complies with a nod of his own.

Done with this matter, Di Cang immediately turned back to his wife by giving the gentlest peck on her forehead, a polar opposite of the dominating air he portrayed mere seconds ago. “Yan Yan, wait for me, I will come find you after I’m done disposing of these people.”

“Okay, go ahead then.” Bai Yan makes a brilliant smile in return to that promise.
