Lanying knew she had no choice as everyone was glaring at her. Even her mother couldn't speak up after Fu Hua's verdict came.2

It was as if everyone listens and agrees only with what he said.

In the end, Lanying ended up deleting her blog account, totally erasing every memory of it and down to its existence.

After she did that, Fu Hua walked away. There was no need to waste his time there, as his wife was sleeping with his daughter in their bedroom, and seeing them would be the perfect medicine to soothe his anger.

Meixu was the second person to leave the sitting room, and not after she gave out a clear instruction.

"Lanying is banned from my wedding, and if Aunt thinks it's unfair, she can choose to stay back as well." 

After fishing out those words in a clear audible voice, she stood up and walked away.

Slowly, the rest of the family members started to leave as well. And Fu Hee was the last.

"If your daughter dares to break the rules again, she will be kicked out of this family, not just the house as well." Fu Hee spat angrily before walking away.

She was still vexed about Jia Li's pregnancy revelation out there. And knowing it was Lanying's doing, she was angrier.

Right now, only Fu Juan and Lanying we're left in the sitting room. The latter was still crying her eyes out, while the former found a place to sit with a helpless gaze on her.

"Why did you do that? Fu Hee said you were told the rules, then why did you have to disobey her?" Fu Juan asked in a solemn tone.

The only thing that could come out of Lanying's mouth, were words of apology. She kept saying she was sorry and that she didn't mean to cause any harm.

Fu Juan sighed tiredly and said to her, "You should have avoided anything that would bring hatred upon you. You already know their attitude towards us, yet you went on to make things worse. Do you think that there will be any remedy to this?"

Just some hours ago, she was telling her to get on good terms with her cousins, but she ended up making their relationship irreconcilable a few hours later.

Lanying didn't say anything as her heart was too bitter and seeing that she wasn't saying anything, Fu Juan got to her feet and said, "Go back to your room and rest. Don't come down for dinner, I will ask someone to send it to you."

As she finished saying that, she turned to leave, but Lanying stopped her with a question.

"Mum, by being myself, I failed to get everyone here to like me. Do you think the situation would have been different if you didn't adopt me? Would they have loved me if I were your flesh and blood?"

Fu Juan was very angry when she heard that question. She squeezed her fists tightly as she turned to give Lanying a death glare.

"Don't you ever ask this kind of question again! No matter what our relationship is, it wouldn't change anything because my family does not like me, so how can they like you?"

Once Fu Juan three that question out, she walked away without turning back or replying to the apology that came from Lanying thereafter.

As everyone was gone, Lanying stayed on the floor for a few minutes more, crying until she could no longer cry anymore, and inky then did she wipe her tears and struggled to get up.

Then, she gave a good look at the sitting room before making her way towards her bedroom.

'Lanying, cry no more! This is the last time you should shed tears for anyone or any situation, you have cried enough. Since no one loves and recognizes you, show them all of what you are capable of.' Lanying encouraged herself as she walked along the hallway with a straight gaze.

When Fu Hua returned to the bedroom, Jia Li and Jasmine were already awake and playing happily. Immediately he saw them, he forgot all about his anger and smiled and went to join them.

Soon, Jasmine complained that she was hungry, so Jia Li had to call her Nanny to come and take her out for an appetizer since dinner would be ready in the next hour.

After Jasmine left, Fu Hua found the right opportunity to tell Jia Li about Lanying. When Jia Li heard that she was the one behind her pregnancy news leaking on the internet, there was disappointment in her gaze.

"Why would she do something like that? I'm not against her having a blog related to the family, but why would she go to the extent of releasing confidential information? She is not acting as a member of the family." Jia Li said with a frown.

"I don't know what that girl's deal is, but she had better not try this kind of act again otherwise she will face the consequences." Fu Hua said with furrowed brows.

Asking her to delete her blog account was not a big enough punishment for her, but in that situation, it was the worst situation that could be given.

No one can bear the pain of erasing his or her success story, an hard work about to yield fruit, or ready yielding fruit, so what he made her do, was very painful.

"I just hope she learns her lesson, or it wouldn't be funny." Fu Hua added.

Jia Li sighed and said, "I hope this was just a mistake from her side and nothing more."

During dinner, Lanying was absent and nobody asked about her since they were still angry over the earlier incident.

As for Fu Fu Juan, she was present. She ate heartily and even asked a servant to send Lanying's food to her room, but some minutes later, the same servant came back with this tray of food left untouched.

Lanying refused to eat and asked her to send the food away.

"At least she knows how to reject food out of guilt," Meixu said with a daring gaze at Fu Juan.

It was as if she was waiting for her to say something, so she could finish her off with her words, but Fu Juan chose to ignore her.
