But the disappointment was only for an instant- she quickly realized that she was being petty! Tang Yun was the big wife, she was only the small wife- Lin Yi had chosen to go with her first before going to Tang Yun, he was already so good to her! What was she being disappointed about?

"Lin Yi honey, you snuck out to find Tang Yun sis!" Xiaoxiao grinned.

"It was four in the morning when I came…" Lin Yi blushed a bit.

Tang Yun had woken up too, feeling embarrassed when she heard her words, "Xiaoxiao, I didn't ask him to come, it was him…"

"Alright, Yun Yun sis- I didn't even say anything! Isn't this nice? From now on we can do it this way, then neither of us would lose anything!" Xiaoxiao continued.

"Yeah…" Xiaoxiao's words made Tang Yun think about it. From now on… Was there really a 'from now on?' Could Lin Yi really cure Xiaoxiao?

After breakfast, the three rushed to school in the car before parking it in the street food alley. They then went to class.

It was a busy life being in the twelfth grade, and when Lin Yi arrived at school, the Miss and Shu was already there, studying at their seats. Mengyao nodded at them upon seeing Lin Yi and Xiaoxiao enter, not saying much. They could talk about it when they were in a more private location.

Xiaobo was quite excited today, however, "Boss, sis-in-law, good morning!"

"Good morning!" Xiaoxiao accepted the title with a smile. Tang Yun would've blushed for sure, since Xiaobo always used Tang Yun's name when there were a lot of people.

"Why're you so excited today?" Lin Yi frowned.

"Didn't Fen recover? Of course I'm happy!" Xiaobo grinned, "Afterwards, I even brought her to meet my parents- they're really pleased!"

"Isn't that great? Now your relationship is settled!" Lin Yi nodded.

"Yeah, thanks to you, boss! If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be where I am today!" Xiaobo nodded gratefully.

"Geez, do you have something to say or not?" Lin Yi glared, "If not, go and study!"

Lin Yi was about to talk to Xiaoxiao about Xu Shihan, and now Xiaobo was here yapping on.

"I do, I do!" Xiaobo lowered his voice, "Boss, guess who called me yesterday?"

"Who?" Lin Yi frowned, not thinking that Xiaobo would do this sort of 'guess who' talk.

"Kang Zhaoming!" Xiaobo said.

"Him? Why'd he call?" Lin Yi was a bit surprised- finally House Kang couldn't keep it together anymore? They wanted Xioabo to sell information again?

"He wants me to give him some insider information!" Xiaobo said, "He asked me so many questions yesterday, but the basic thing was about the channels for materials the Miracle Doctor Guan company used. Plus, he even kept trying to ask in a roundabout way whether we changed the recipe of the injury medicine!"

"Oh? Then what did you say?" Lin Yi didn't think that Zhaoming had it in him, he figured out that something was off! With all the expensive stuff in House Kang's Golden injury medicine, especially since they always had low supply and a high price, his enquiry was expected. This was why House Kang always sold out!

It wasn't that House Kang was trying to do some marketing strategy, it was just that they simply didn't have enough of a supply of their ingredients for more production!

"I didn't say anything, of course, I said I was only the vice-chairman, in charge of selling, while Fatty Lai was in charge of production and Professor Guan was doing the research and monitoring, so I don't know anything," Xiaobo smiled.

"Nice. But if he asks for information again and offers money, there's no need to reject him," Lin Yi smiled.

"Of course, I wouldn't say no to him giving me money for free!" Xiaobo nodded, "Right, I told him that I was in charge of selling, and Zhaoming asked about our ex-factory price. It seems that he's trying to buy a big shipment?"

"Big shipment?" Lin Yi paused.

"Yeah, they may be thinking of buying our products and changing the labels before selling it off." Xiaobo said.

"It's possible, but we'll see. If they want to buy it then fine, but we can't give them the ex-factory price. Let them do it themselves," Lin Yi said casualy.

If House Kang really were to do this, then it'd result in their destruction- with the correct timing of exposing this fact, House Kang's name really would topple when they try to sell the repackaged medicine.

Lin Yi didn't believe that Miracle Doctor Kang would be as dumb as to do something like that.

"Okay. If this Kang Zhaoming has any other plans, I'll tell you right away!" Xiaobo nodded.

Zhaoming turned back around- the Physics teacher had come in and was getting ready to start class, and so Lin Yi postponed the talk about the superstar Xu Shihan and started focusing.

Xiaoxiao, on the other hand, seemed to really enjoy her time in class with Lin Yi. Neighbouring tables, lovers… This was a sort of pleasant way to live life and considered it her best memory- she didn't want to miss her final moments.

At noon, Lin Yi, Xiaoxiao, Tang Yun, Mengyao, and Yushu all went to the cafeteria's second floor. There were a lot of people downstairs, and they couldn't eat there with everyone gossiping.

The manager of the canteen naturally knew who Mengyao was, and so she got a room on the second floor after requesting it, and it became Mengyao's private room every day.

Mengyao wasn't someone who used her status like this, but for Xiaoxiao, she had to use this privilege! Otherwise, with Lin Yi having a big wife to his left and a small wife to his right, along with Shu and Mengyao herself… What was that, even? What would people be saying?

"Xiaoxiao, are you feeling alright? We were worried sick yesterday when we heard you fainted," Mengyao acted as if she still didn't know that Xiaoxiao was dying- Lin Yi and Tang Yun didn't have the chance to tell them yet.

"It's fine…" Xiaoxiao shook her head, "Maybe I'm just a little bit anemic."
