Chapter 1222 - Chen Yushu's Accusation1

Lin Yi and Tang Yun looked at each other- Xiaoxiao's words evidently meant that she didn't want Mengyao and Yushu to know yet, and so they kept quiet.

Mengyao and Yushu knew it too, and so they put on an act with Xiaoxiao.

"I see. As long as you're okay," Mengyao nodded, "Then you should eat some veggies that help thickens blood."

"Yeah… Let's not talk about this, let's talk about something else?" Xiaoxiao didn't want the topic to be around her sickness, it'd make her feel unhappy.

When they were in class, Lin Yi had already sent out texts to the three girls, telling them of Xiaoxiao's wish. 

And so Mengyao changed the topic to the superstar Xu Shihan.

"I heard that Xu Shihan has a new song?" Mengyao said casually.

"Oh, I think so- the music channel introduced it yesterday," Yushu said after some thought.

"Really? I didn't hear- I didn't have time to look at the tv yesterday," Tang Yun turned to Xiaoxiao, "Oh, Xiaoxiao- you like Xu Shihan?"

"I do!" Xiaoxiao was full of energy when they changed the topic, "I'm a fan of hers, I got all her albums!"

"Really? Shu and I are fans too!" Mengyao said happily, "Did you join her fan group yet then?"

"No, the fan group activities are all in the main cities, there aren't any here so it'd be a waste of money," Xiaoxiao shook her head.

"That's true- Xu Shihan never had any events or concerts in Songshan. It's such a shame!" Tang Yun nodded.

"Yeah, I've never had the chance to see her concert," Xiaoxiao said disappointedly.

"Maybe we could go to the city where she holds her next concert? Since we can take a plane nowadays," Mengyao suggested.

"Oh, we'll treat it as a trip! Let Shield Bro come with us!" Yushu added.

"That's…" Xiaoxiao was touched- but to tell the truth, she was worried, despite of how much she wanted to go, "For me it's okay, since I'm not planning to have good grades or anything… But you guys have to study, no? The exams are coming!"

Xiaoxiao's worry made sense. She didn't know how long she even had to live, so she didn't care whether or not she could get into college. Tang Yun, Mengyao, and Yushu, on the other hand, were all hardworking students- they clearly wanted to get to a good college, so wouldn't she ruin them if they all went for a concert at this time?

"Oh, that bit of homework isn't much for Genius Shu- plus, you have to accumulate studying every day anyway, not rush it!" Yushu said casually, "Right, Yao Yao?"

"Yeah…" Mengyao smiled bitterly. If her grades really weren't enough, she could always use her dad's connections, and that wasn't a difficult thing considering House Chu's wealth and power. Although this would be completely different compared to if she'd earned it herself.

But Mengyao wouldn't regret that- life was the most precious, and Xiaoxiao might leave any time soon, she didn't want her to leave with regret! That was what fueled her suggestion.

"It's fine, even if I can't get into college, I'll just let Lin Yi spend money- he's a big boss now," Tang Yun joked, easing the atmosphere.

"Yeah, if we can't get into college, we'll rely on Shield Bro! Xiaoxiao, too!" Yushu said.

"Yeah, it's decided then!" Xiaoxiao nodded. Now that everyone was already saying that, refusing again would be bad.

At that moment, Xiaoxiao realized something as well- Mengyao and Yushu's attitudes today were a bit odd, as if they were intentionally letting her have her way. Did they all know the truth already? Thinking about it, it was quite likely. Perhaps Lin Yi and Tang Yun had told them already, it was just that they didn't mention it.

Xiaoxiao felt really touched- she was able to have these good friends before her death, how lucky was that??

The food came in no time at all. 

"Yao Yao, those kids in the orphanage don't have much to eat, but we get to eat all these nice dishes every day… While they try to save on celery and some potatoes…" Yushu said as she looked at the delicious food on the table.

"Yeah, Shu, didn't you say you wanted to organize a donation event? How's it coming along?" Mengyao cared about the kids in the orphanage as well.

"What's this about an orphanage?" Tang Yun and Xiaoxiao weren't there yesterday, so they dind't know.

"Well…" Lin Yi decided to just tell the entire story to them, from when Goudan lent money to You Xiaoke…

There weren't any outsiders here, and so Lin Yi didn't hold back, telling them of how he even met You Xiaoke.

"Oh!" Mengyao and Yushu weren't too sure about You Xiaoke, but after hearing Lin Yi's words, they were equally stunned as Tang Yun and Xiaoxiao.

"It sure is hard for her, to be managing the orphanage running around like that. She may be a thief, but she's much better than those 'gentlemen' in suits!" Mengyao sighed.

"Yeah, that damn fox Song Lingshan, she even hurt You Xiaoke! What would the kids in the orphanage do if she hadn't met Shield Bro to save her?" Yushu said angrily.

"You can't say that, too- it's normal and justifiable for Lingshan to catch a thief. It's just that this one's a good thief," Tang Yun said fairly.

"Tang Yun sis, why are you so silly? You're helping that horny fox! You should know that she's your love rival!" Yushu said, panicking.

"Huh? Rival?" Tang Yun blinked- how was Song Lingshan her rival now?

"Song Lingshan likes Shield Bro! She even helped jerk him off in the hospital!" Yushu boldly accused Lingshan of the deed, although she also did think it was true.
