"Yeah, I came to find you…" Xiaoke naturally didn't know that Goudan thought she was a scammer, not sensing the tone Goudan was using.

"Came to find me?" Goudan thought that this was a coincidence, thinking that Xiaoke had come here to scam people, not thinking that she came for him!

"Yeah… I really must thank you for what you did last time! But… I'm in some trouble again… My friend got hurt, and he needs a big amount of medical fees… Can you lend me a bit more? Don't worry. I'll return it all for you with interest when I earn money!" Xiaoke said with a pat on her chest.

"What? You want to borrow money again?" Goudan's eyes went wide. Did this girl think he was a damn idiot? He'd already fallen for it once. If he did so again, then he'd really be stupid!

"I really have no choice… I know you're a good guy, can you lend me some more…" Xiaoke said pitifully.

"Goudan, the scammer you mentioned was her? This can't be that much of a coincidence, right?" Yushu knew that these two knew each other before- and probably that Goudan had gotten his money scammed by her!

"I… I'm not a scammer, I really will return it. I always kept your address with me,.. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to find you!" Xiaoke jumped after hearing Yushu's words, instantly realizing what was up with Goudan's attitude. He thought he lied to her. No wonder his tone was so rough!

"Address?" Goudan blinked. "You're saying you came here using the address I gave you?"

Goudan thought that it was a coincidence, but Xiaoke's explanation cleared that up. Even so, Goudan really found it hard to believe her after all! He'd spent a while with Yuanyuan, who told her a lot of the world and about common scammer tactics, especially with what happened to Yu Ren. She decided to raise his awareness of scammers.

"Yeah, here-" Xiaoke took out the address and showed it to Goudan.

"You said that your friend got hurt, and he needs medical fees, right?" Goudan asked.

"Yes." Xiaoke nodded.

"Lair! You think I'm an idiot, how come your family and friends are always in the hospital? Can't you use a different scam excuse?" Goudan exposed her right away.

"I…" Xiaoke didn't know what to say- but she didn't know how to explain this either… But it seemed now that she wouldn't be getting any money from here anymore. "If you don't believe me, then it's fine… I'll think of some other way, but the money I owe you, I'll return to you for sure!"

"Wait! Do you think you can run just like that? I'm going to bring you to the police station!" Goudan really couldn't do anything physical to a girl like this, so the only way was to send her to the station.

"That-! You can't…" Xiaoke jumped- what would all those orphans do if that happened? How was it supposed to function without her, especially when these were tough times?

And so, Xiaoke subconsciously turned to run, only to have her arm grabbed by Goudan. "Where do you think you're going?"

With Goudan's strength, there was no way she was getting out- she realized that it was impossible after trying to move out of the iron grip a few times. "Not now, I can't go to jail. I can't! What about a while later, after I arrange everything? If you want to go with you to the police station, I'll go with you then…"

"Where am I supposed to go find you after you leave?" Goudan didn't buy it.

"I'll be able to find you. I have your address…" Xiaoke said carefully.

"You think I'm an idiot?!" Goudan was getting pissed. "You're like a fox, a cunning fox! I can't let you go!"

Lin Yi had just finished changing and was leaving the villa with two bottles of injury medicine when he heard Goudan yelling. It was someone he knew- You Xiaoke! Goudan was holding her arm.

"What's going on? You guys know each other?" Lin Yi walked over with a smile.

Xiaoke didn't think that she'd be able to see Lin Yi here, and she felt like she'd met her savior! "Lin Yi, help! He's trying to get me to the police station…"

"Police station?" Lin Yi blinked but remembering something instantly. "Er Goudan, that scammer you mentioned, isn't her right?"

"It's her! Boss, you know her?" Goudan was confused- the girl knew Lin Yi

She called Lin Yi by his name, so this meant they knew each other.

Lin Yi frowned. With what he knew of Xiaoke. Things weren't as it seemed. He was getting scammed by Xiaoke? She was a master thief, the best at stealing, so there was no need for her to scam anyone?

If she wanted his money, she would've just silently got it. Why would she go the roundabout way of scamming? With her situation in the orphanage, too, it was understandable that she'd be trying to raise money outside when someone from the orphanage was sick.

And, even if Xiaoke really did scam Goudan, why would she come back a second time? "Xiaoke, why did you come here?"

Xiaoke put all her hope on Lin Yi as she explained her situation.

Lin Yi didn't think she was lying after hearing her out. He'd seen the orphanage, after all, and her words were most likely true. Someone was hurt!

If it was an infection from rust, it'd get really serious if you didn't treat it. And so he decided to go take a look at Xiao Yan at the hospital, delaying the thing with Miss Yu since she'd had that injury for a while now.
