When night fell, Zhai Ningxin sat on the bed, seriously looking at the book in her hand. Her beautiful hair was casually draped over her body, the milky skin on her face making her look like a fairy in a flower. 2

"You haven't slept yet." Zhai Ningxin opened his mouth, his eyes lowered and his eyelashes trembled.

"Yes." Kuang Heng nodded lightly and sat down on the sofa.

Looking at the Kuang Heng sitting down, Zhai Ningxin thought for a moment. Tomorrow was the professor's birthday. She was going to treat the professor to dinner. Should she tell Kuang Heng about this?

Kuang Heng looked at the bright smile on Zhai Ningxin face and the corners of his lips curled up.

Was she so concerned about his thoughts? He stood up from the sofa and walked out of the door. Zhai Ningxin looked at the Kuang Heng that had left, closed the book and lay down under the bed. He closed his eyes and fell asleep.

Their friendly relationship wasn't as stiff as before. Everything seemed to be getting better as they slowly fell asleep with a good heart.

Italian Restaurant

"Cheers." Lin Chen Rong Rong and Zhai Ningxin sat in the dining room. The three of them held wine glasses in their hands as they celebrated Lin Chen birthday together.

"Professor, this is for you." Zhai Ningxin took a sip of the wine and handed the gift to Lin Chen.

"Thank you." Lin Chen spoke gently. His voice was like flowing water, making people feel happy.

As Rong Rong watched, he picked up the gift he had prepared for him and handed it to him.

"Lin Chen, don't mind my gift." Rong Rong handed the gift to Lin Chen and joked. The smile on his face was as bright as a flower.

Lin Chen laughed. How could he dislike it?

"Thank you." He opened his mouth to express his thanks. Lin Chen looked at the smile on Zhai Ningxin face and a trace of heartache flashed through his eyes.

She should be living well recently, right? They hadn't seen each other since she got married and she had n' t called him. If she hadn't remembered his birthday, they would n' t have seen each other, right?

"Professor, have a happy birthday. I wish you every success in your career." Zhai Ningxin raised his glass and saluted Lin Chen.

Lin Chen listened and lightly touched her with his glass of wine. His greatest wish was that as long as she was happy, he wouldn't think about anything else. As long as she was fine.

Rong Rong looked at the expression on Lin Chen face and then at the smile on Zhai Ningxin face. He sighed in his heart.

She knew Lin Chen feelings for Zhai Ningxin. When Zhai Ningxin and Kuang Heng got married, she was drunk at the bar and coincidentally met him. When she heard his words, she really didn't know what to say.

"Thank you. How have you been?" Lin Chen took a sip and asked softly.

He wanted to know if she had been well lately and had been bullied by Kuang Family.

Zhai Ningxin laughed and started eating.
