She quickly stood up. "Why is Miss Torres here? The president is in a meeting right now. Why don't you wait in his office for a while?"1

Lauren nodded obediently. She could not disturb her brother's work.

The secretary brought Lauren to Franklin's office and poured her a glass of orange juice.

"The president's meeting should be over in 15 minutes. You can sit here for a while. I'm going out to work."
