Obstacles, Part Three
{Neve}
With a hand resting on Neve's chest, Ahlakan leaned in and kissed her. Neve responded as best as she could, though the movements of her own lips were still clumsy.
She hadn't expected this. And, she wasn't entirely sure that she should have been allowing it to continue.
[What am I doing?] She thought, as the soft lips touching hers hesitantly continued to press against them. [I should be getting some rest. I should...]
Ahlakan's tongue poked out and sought entry into Neve's mouth. Briefly, her thoughts were silenced as she allowed it to happen. Even Neve, as inexperienced as she was, knew that one usually wanted to have their eyes closed during a make-out session but they just about bulged out of their sockets as Ahlakan's tongue dove in.
She allowed herself to take the moment in. To treasure the feeling of this woman's body being so close, to hear her own heart drumming loudly against her ears. But, soon, more guilty thoughts popped up.
[What if, right now, the people I'm looking for are getting stronger? What if, while I'm here doing this, they're getting whatever it is that they need to beat me?]
Again, her thoughts were pushed out of her mind as Ahlakan slipped a hand beneath her shirt and tried to pull it up. She was unsuccessful but Neve helped out by throwing her Angel Set in her Inventory. In the blink of an eye, she was naked.
Ahlakan's lips went down to Neve's neck and the healer fixed her eyes on the tent's ceiling, wondering if she was right to feel so guilty right now.
[Am I overthinking all of this? But... But, if they get away...]
A single question sounded off, ricocheting off the walls of her mind that Neve had not been prepared to ask herself.
[Then, what?]
Neve flipped Ahlakan onto her back.
"Huh!?" Ahlakan was surprised.
With her hands on the girl's shoulders, Neve looked down at her for just a moment before bending down and kissing the alchemist the same she'd been doing for her. Wildly, with very little in the form of an idea of what she was doing, but it didn't matter.
Neve just wanted to take her mind away from the path it had been headed down just now. In whichever way she could.
Once the surprise faded, Ahlakan let her head fall against the pillow behind it and focused on the feeling of Neve's lips drawing a line down her body. From her chin to her neck, to her chest, to her navel, and then, finally, to...
Ahlakan's pussy stared back at Neve. It twitched, almost like it was trembling under the weight of Neve's eyes.
[Then...]
The word returned and Neve snuffed it out by quickly bending over and allowing her tongue to touch Ahlakan's lower lips. Ahlakan's back arched, reacting to nothing else but Neve's tongue making contact.
Neve closed her eyes. With her hands on Ahlakan's legs, Neve buried those thoughts that she was fighting to keep out of her mind. Focusing only on this current moment, Neve lapped away in a manner she knew had to have been terrible, in the eyes of an experienced, pussy-licking veteran, but Ahlakan didn't seem to mind.
Maybe she really was so pent up she couldn't care less about the mechanical skill Neve's tongue possessed. Just the act of putting it to some use was enough for now.
And put it to use, Neve tried to do. Hoping that she could make up for her lack of skill with pure effort, she thrust her tongue in and out of Ahlakan's body.
She was, in fact, so concentrated that Ahlakan's moans barely reached her ears.
To the point where, as her tongue became drenched in something other than her own saliva, Neve pulled back, shocked.
[Oh.] She thought, looking down as Ahlakan reached over and kept going with her own right hand due to Neve having removed herself. [She came?]
The sweet fluid that had just coated Neve's tongue jumped out again and stained the bed. Neve just watched on, caught off-guard.
"Mm..." Ahlakan's knees went up.
She locked her legs behind Neve's body. Pulling her back down, Neve's wide eyes met Ahlakan's own as she said:
"Don't stop."

{Erin}
[Why do there have to be worlds with no nighttime? I hate this,] the lamia stated as she sat down on the same bench Neve had seemingly owned since before she even met Erin.
Perhaps she wasn't the type to refresh her home's look every now and then.
She would rather have been out here looking up at the stars, but, since that was not an option, she would have to settle for the green sun over her head instead.
Thankfully, it was dim enough to where Erin could look up at it without going blind. Though, even if she did, maybe Neve would simply have to resummon her in order to fix that.
Things, as they usually did, circled back to Erin's unfortunate existence.
She was a summon. A stranger may not have been able to tell if they just walked up and saw her out here, relaxing like she was, but the fact remained the same.
Over time, Erin's feelings on that matter had shifted to where, now, she largely accepted the fact, though every now and then she was reminded of it.
Now, she was left with a simple question. What was she to do?
Was she supposed to just go on and live like a summon forever? Doing nothing but tending to Neve's every whim? Or, was it possible for her to have her own ambitions? Things she wanted to do on her own, though Neve would, of course, need to be tied to those ambitions given that, well, she was a summon.
[I guess being able to think about this in and of itself is half the answer... But, what could I do? What is there to set my sights on?]
Of course, she already had an answer to that question.
The one thing she felt she truly wanted right now was something that it seemed Ahlakan was actually closer to obtaining, even if Neve herself didn't know it.
[... I want her to be mine,] Erin thought, sliding her tail on the ground from side to side. [Not necessarily in a loving way. But... when she's horny, I want my face to be the first thing that comes to her mind. Or my hands, whichever one works, I suppose.]
It would be a surprisingly tough task, given that Neve's head was as dense as the walls that barricaded Erin's home, but Erin knew it was what she wanted. She had found out before, as she'd taken that kiss Neve owed her, that this was what she wanted to work toward.
For now, anyway.
[Come to think of it, how's their conversation faring?] Erin thought as she stood up. [Perhaps I should go check in on them.]
The lamia got off the bench and slithered over to the tent.
Casually, she went to its flap and pushed it open, stopping as soon as she looked inside.
Ahlakan was on the bed with her eyes closed and her hands reaching between her legs, where they presumably held Neve's head in place. She couldn't tell because she couldn't see Neve's head. Instead, the healer, Erin's host, the woman who she was forever tied to, had had her ass in the air as she bent down and licked away at the other girl, and that had been the first thing that Erin had seen of her.
[... Oh my.]
Inhaling slowly, Erin backed away and left them to it.
Neve had been ignorant of it, but Erin hadn't. Ahlakan had been bored to tears ever since they went into the 2nd Floor. Sure, painting and alchemy had helped a little, but there was only so much those two activities could provide in the form of entertainment. She had sorely needed the moment they were having, and Erin wasn't about to get in the way of it.
[I do wish I could get my hands on them, though,] Erin thought as she slithered back over to the bed. [Oh well. Maybe some other time.]
The following day, Neve walked out of that tent with a different look on her face than usual.
She looked like her head was in the clouds. There was probably so much going on in her mind right now that even Erin, as she watched from the same bench where she'd been all night, could tell.
"Had a good night, dearest summoner of mine?"
Neve's eyes went up to her but it looked like she barely registered her words.
"... We'll be heading back out in a few minutes."
"I could guess as much," Erin replied. "Have you had breakfast yet? Did you offer some to Ahlakan?" 0
"Huh? Oh, shit, hold on," Neve replied before jogging back into the tent. Erin just laughed, shaking her head.
She came back out half an hour later with a few stray breadcrumbs on her shirt.
"Uh, do you want anything?" Neve asked.
"No, no. I'm fine."
"Um, okay..." Neve replied, nodding. "So..." She pointed out of the safe zone.
"Right."
Just like that, the brief interruption was over, and the race to catch up to those murderers Neve was chasing after resumed.
Though, Neve somehow looked several times more distracted than she usually did.
[Incredible.]
