This edict meant that there would be no marriage with the Ding Nation courthouse, nor was he allowed to arrange any other marriage for Feng Tianlan. He couldn't understand why the emperor kept shielding Feng Tianlan.

Eunuch De couldn't be bothered with Feng Xiang. He said respectfully to Feng Tianlan, "Your humble servant will now return to the palace."
